This paper addresses the challenges posed by Industry 4.0 and the COVID-19 pandemic, which necessitate digital transformation in educational institutions. It focuses on the specific issues of ...integrating enterprise information systems to facilitate this transformation. The solution proposed is the development of an integrated information system to manage operational processes within educational institutions. This system targets key domains including student admissions, academics, finance, and human resources, utilizing role-based access control (RBAC) and Single Sign-On (SSO) for efficiency and security. The methodology involves a collaborative effort under the Matching Fund program by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia. This collaboration includes the Universitas Islam Indonesia and the Salman Alfarisi Yogyakarta educational institution. The approach includes defining the project, collecting, and reviewing lessons, creating a repository of these lessons, and disseminating the findings. The project successfully developed and implemented an integrated information system, addressing the initial challenges and improving organizational efficiency in the participating educational institution. The system’s deployment covered multiple key operational domains, significantly digitizing the institution’s processes. This paper contributes valuable insights and best practices from the integration project, serving as a model for other universities and educational institutions. It showcases the potential of collaborative efforts in accelerating digital transformation in education, especially in the context of Indonesia’s vast network of universities and educational institutions.
Disaster management requires extensive and various information. Semantic web offers a large potential to be utilized in the applications for supporting disaster management with its ability to ...integrate heterogeneous data from diverse sources. This study aims at investigating the extent to which semantic web is used in disaster management systems. The study conducted as a systematic literature review on 13 papers from academic databases that are leading in the area of computer science, i.e. ACM Digital Library, IEEE Explore and Science Direct. The result shows that the applications in the selected papers are mainly provided to institutions responsible for disaster management. Emergency relief is the phase that is supported by most applications. The study indicates that common geospatial ontology is necessary to facilitate the development of semantic web applications for disaster management. In the selected papers, the use of semantic web for data integration is done via an integration layer. This layer includes semantic processing to ensure that all data from multiple sources have proper semantics and to facilitate the application in querying the integrated information.

Abstract
In order to ensure the remaining volume of liquid inside a tank that is normally checked manually and frequently, an unmanned monitoring system is proposed. The proposed system is developed ...based on the concept of Internet of Things (IoT). This paper presents a prototype for tank level monitoring. The prototype utilises SRF HC-SR04 sensor to measure the liquid level. Arduino Uno microcontroller is implemented to assist the data processing before any notification is sent to the user. The remaining liquid volume and LED notification are shown as the output of the prototype. Some testing have been conducted to observe if the prototype works fine and to measure any error during implementation. Result shows that the relative error is less than 2% and the standard deviation is less than 5%.
The need for disaster preparedness becomes very important in Indonesia. Due to its geographical situation, within a ring of fire, Indonesia is prone to several disasters such as earth-quake and ...volcano eruption. This paper presents the design of a context-aware system to pre-emptively notify and provide some information to the population around Merapi volcano. The information contains some dangerous area and safe-place/shelter based on the user location. The proposed design can also notify the level of danger that might be encountered by the user and the mitigation path within a certain distance.
There is a healthcare program in Indonesia called Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu). Services such as nutritional counselling, immunization service, health education and birth preparedness are ...conducted in the program. All the information collected form such program is still in paper-based document, called Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS). A development of an electronic KMS (e-KMS) is proposed. This paper presents several related works on e-KMS for Indonesia. This paper derives requirements towards the most workable features for e-KMS based on the literatures.
This paper presents a design of Telegram bot to support Campus information sharing. The communication method used is Webhooks. Webhooks is able to provide zero latency and handle multiple requests ...concurrently during communication within the Telegram bot. Such bot serves the information via specific commands. The Telegram bot prototype shows that even though Webhooks is able to provide information as requested, Webhooks setting is difficult and trickier.
The adoption of information systems in public health management in Indonesia aims to manage the data properly in order to improve the effectiveness of the provision of health services. However, based ...on previous works, it does not live up to expectation. This paper reports an insight coming from the field about the use of various and disconnected information systems in one place without sufficient coordination mechanism among those systems. The systems were developed by the superordinate body and it is compulsory for the public health facilities to adopt and implement the systems. This raises several problems related to the quality of the system itself, human resources capability, ambiguous procedures, various reports with the relatively same data, and unclear incentive mechanism for staffs. We conceptualize the problems of disconnections among three elements: actors, context, and information systems. These lead to different types of disconnections: between government agencies at national level, between information systems, between information systems and the context, between government agencies at national and local level, and between information systems and available staff capacity. This study also points out practical implications, which includes the use of more holistic approach to design and develop information systems, to develop an integrated information infrastructure for public health facilities.
The clear majority of previous studies have found that the absence of information systems to properly manage data is one of the main challenges in improving public health management. The present ...study offers an alternate perspective, revealing other emerging problems in cases where there are many information systems in place but without sufficient orchestration. The national government of Indonesia has been coercive in its implementation of various information systems without involving users at public health facilities, which has created many problems on the ground. The problems identified relate to the quality of the disconnected information systems currently in use, the lack of human resource development, unclear procedures, uncoordinated reports and the absence of an incentive scheme. The present study also highlights some practical implications, including the use of a more holistic perspective in designing and developing an integrated public health information infrastructure.
