E-learning can be viewed from a technical and pedagogical aspect, so the application of e-learning in teaching requires ICT knowledge and skills and pedagogical competencies for the use of ICT in ...teaching. Work on the topic: "Analysis of the use of online teaching tools in specific circumstances" consists of two parts. The first part of the paper, which uses a scientific method of content analysis, presents types of online teaching tools in specific circumstances and explanations of online teaching tools in specific circumstances. Also, the advantages and disadvantages of the online learning tools (as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the LMS, i.e. learning management system) are described. The second part of the paper presents the research results obtained by the scientific method of interviewing. Based on the surveys, answers (results) were obtained to the nine questions asked. Hypotheses were set in the paper: Ht1 and Ha1 and Ht2 and Ha2. Based on the results obtained by interviewing the respondents (analysis of answers), the paper confirmed the basic hypotheses (Ht1 and Ht2), while the alternative hypotheses (Ha1 and Ha2) have been rejected.
A wireless on-skin inertial sensor based on free-moving liquid metal is introduced. The inertial sensor comprises a eutectic gallium-indium (eGaIn) droplet that modulates the capacitance between two ...electrodes. The capacitive output of the sensor is connected to a planar coil to form an LC resonator whose resonant frequency can be read out wirelessly. Liquid metal electrodes and the coil are fabricated on a 20 μm thick silicone membrane, which can stretch up to 600%, using spray-deposition of eGaIn. The moving droplet is encapsulated on the opposite side of the membrane using spray-deposition of Dragon Skin 10 silicone. The output characteristics, electrical simulations of the capacitance, and dynamic characteristics of the sensor are shown. The sensor is used for measuring tilt angles and recording arm gestures.
Abstract
In modern magnetic resonance imaging, signal detection is performed by dense arrays of radiofrequency resonators. Tight-fitting arrays boost the sensitivity and speed of imaging. However, ...current devices are rigid and cage-like at the expense of patient comfort. They also constrain posture, limiting the examination of joints. For better ergonomics and versatility, detectors should be flexible, adapt to individual anatomy, and follow posture. Towards this goal, the present work proposes a novel design based on resonators formed by liquid metal in polymer tubes. Textile integration creates lightweight, elastic devices that are worn like pieces of clothing. A liquid-metal array tailored to the human knee is shown to deliver competitive image quality while self-adapting to individual anatomy and adding the ability to image flexion of the joint. Relative to other options for stretchable conductors, liquid metal in elastic tubes stands out by reconciling excellent electrical and mechanical properties with ease of manufacturing.
This paper will present the theoretical definitions and basic properties of ERP (i-ERP) systems, with a SWOT-oriented analysis of their advantages and disadvantages. When considering their ...development and implementation, the needs of users have been taken into account, and when considering their development, an analysis of their advantages and disadvantages is always done, primarily by analyzing the requirements, costs and benefits using SWOT analysis. The paper presents the current list of the best solutions on the market and, according to the conducted research, the leading ERP software is described in more detail. The paper uses scientific methods of content analysis and SWOT analysis, as well as a newly performed "Analysis of Potential Advantages and Constraints".
The first part of the research aims to: describe theoretical concepts of 5G connection, list the advantages and disadvantages, give examples of 5G connection in science and technology. The second ...part of the paper identifies the key aspects of the survey: what cellphone respondents use, what active network they use, whether they know what the Air Flash 5G Microwave Enterprise Solution is, whether they know that they will perform authentication on the 5G network because of the new architecture between third parties, whether storing configuration secrets in plain, unencrypted text can cause system vulnerability, agree with the statement that a 5G connection will increase the possibility of accelerated attack on mobile devices, whether the 6G network will soon be implemented and when it could be used for commercial purposes, which is the opinion of the respondents about the possibilities of implementing the latest generation of 7G network.
This research paper in its first part focuses on the theoretical concepts of “innovation”, “innovation Management”, and “ICT innovation management”. The second part of the paper aims to follow ...results of the survey (research methodology) in determining whether the innovation is of interest to the participants of the survey. It questions whether ICT innovations are the key for economic development of the country, or if the interviewees own their (patented) ICT innovative product. It questions where the interviewees find motivation for creation of ICT innovation and if the managers consider opening vacancies for ICT innovation development. It questions whether they are familiar with the Strategy of Innovation Incentives in the Republic of Croatia, in the period 2014-2020, or whether the interviewees believe it was real and achieved. Did the interviewees know that the Republic of Croatia was behind Slovenia, Hungary and Bulgaria according to the Index of Innovation, and if they agree with the statement that innovations are the source of real competitive advantage of individual business, and one of the most efficient ways for sustainable prosperity. Are the SMEs (small and medium enterprises) the cornerstones for development of modern economy?
The research related to two parts: the first section of the paper (1) is exclusively related to presenting the practical work, i.e. of the animation made in CSS3 descriptive language. The animation ...was presented in both its design and code aspects. The code was explained in details and the paper showed the animation (after running the mouse pointer over the rectangle) causing the transformation of the rectangle into self-shaping elements with rounded corners. In terms of the style class, CSS3 descriptive language (animation) was presented within HTML5.1 elements. The classes, boxes and the elements within the code were explained in the first section of the paper. The second section of the research (2) presented proving or rejecting the hypothesis based on a survey. The sample on which the research was conducted was a representative one and it was a non-probability (purposive) sample made up of relevant experts and scientists from the realm of web developing and designing. The second section proved and/ or rejected the hypotheses H1, H2, H3 and H4 constituting the basic hypothesis Ht; the section in turn presented and analyzed the research results via graphs concerning the most frequently used web technologies and tools for designing web pages and animations on web pages. Moreover, the application tool voted as “the best” for rendering animations on web pages was stated as well.
This paper describes an analysis and shows its use in analysing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (risks) within the health care system. The aim is further more to show strengths, ...weaknesses, opportunities and threats when using cloud computing in the health care system. Cloud computing in medicine is an integral part of telemedicine. Based on the information presented in this paper, employees may identify the advantages and disadvantages of using cloud computing. When introducing new information technologies in the health care business the implementers will encounter numerous problems, such as: the complexity of the existing and the new information system, the costs of maintaining and updating the software, the cost of implementing new modules,a way of protecting the existing data in the database and the data that will be collected in the diagnosis. Using the SWOT analysis this paper evaluates the feasibility and possibility of adopting cloud computing in the health sector to improve health services based on samples (examples) from abroad. The intent of cloud computing in medicine is to send data of the patient to the doctor instead of the patient sending it himself/herself.
