Autor se u svom priopćenju između ostalog posebno osvrće na jedan od glavnih projekata prof. Ante Glavičića a to je pokretanje izdavanja znanstvenog časopisa Senjski zbornik čiji je prvi svezak ...tiskan davne 1965. godine. Naime, autor je danas jedini živući član Uredništva od njegovih samih početaka, u kojem je i sam surađivao, te između
ostalih radova objavio i svoju doktorsku disertaciju pod naslovom Današnji senjski govor. Koncepcija Senjskog zbornika, sadržaj, učestalost izlaženja, koliko duboko i široko zahvaćati problematiku koja se odnosi na Senj, sve su to bila pitanja o kojima se razmišljalo pri pokretanju ovog znanstvenog časopisa danas poznatog i priznatog na području cijele naše države pa i šire. Ovaj znanstveni časopis od samih početaka svojevrsna je enciklopedija prepuna informacija sa različitih područja kao što su: arheologija, povijest, geografija, etnologija, književnost, kultura i sl. koja se odnose na grad Senj i njegovu širu okolicu a svojim znanstvenim pristupom interesantan je učenicima, studentima i brojnim znanstvenicima u njihovom stručnom radu. Danas, gotovo pet desetljeća od njegovog pokretanja, Senjski zbornik nastavlja izlaziti a svojim temama, kvalitetom i znanstvenim pristupom ostao je privržen temeljnoj zamisli njezina pokretača Ante Glavičića.

In today's research of the Baška tablet most attention is focused on deciphering its actualcontent because the tablet is largely damaged. It was necessary, especially in a few lines of the first ...part, to reconstruct the glagolitic writing. This was best done by Branko Fučić. According tohis reading the tablet was transliterated, ie. transcribed from the glagolitic alphabet to the Latin script. After that they could also begin to successfully address the language problems, primarily to determine the sound and morphological transformation that has occurred in the Croatian language since the time when the Baška tablet was created (around the beginning of the 11thcentury). However, the question remains, how to read the angular glagolitic carved text of the first Croatian monument found in the church of Sv. Lucija (St. Lucy) in Jurandvor near Baška onthe island of Krk. Despite some previous partial efforts the author has now, reconstructed in hisbook Povijesna fonologija hrvatskoga jezika (Historical Phonology of the Croatian Language)(Zagreb, 2010) a comprehensive system of the accents of the Croatian language – conveyed at thetime of the tablet, i.e. about a thousand years ago. Therefore we can say that the Baška tablet has finally been read in its entirety. At the end of the article the author presents his version of the Baška tablet in the contemporary Croatian language.

Today when we celebrate the end of work of Senj’s glagolitic press in Senj, which – as known – worked successfully from 1494 until 1508, which is described in great detail in the literature , it is ...good to remember the beginning of the printing art because it is closely connected to a specially important activity related to book i.e. book printing. The invention of printing was related to the name of Johannes Gutenberg who in 1455 in Mainz finished his first typographic work – the famous Latin Bible on 1,282 leaves in two columns of 42 lines. Since then i.e. from 1455 until 1500, which is considered to be the beginning of the development of printing and books printed in this period were called incunabulas. We can be proud to say that Croats belong to these small number of European people who had their incunabula i.e. their own books printed in their territory during the first decades of printing.
Iako sam o leksikografskoj obradi Mažuranićeve pjesni Smrt Smail-age Čengića već pisao, ostalo je podosta toga o čemu još treba progovoriti. Tom dijelu pripada i rasprava o imenima u Mažuranićevoj ...Smrti. Ovo je, čini mi se, ponajbolja prigoda da se o tome prozbori u članku koji je posvećen Svečaru.
