Ženske so pečo na glavo polagale na različne načine, odvisno od njihovega družbenega položaja, od obdobja, v katerem so živele, od letnega časa, od tega, ali so jo nosile za pražnjo ali vsakdanjo ...priložnost ipd. »Peče so dale k lepim oblekam gor. Tete so ble na ohcet s pečo. Pa kakšen govor so naredle. So mele tut solo ples. Tete so postlo postlale. Pečo so imele prekrižano zadaj in potem zavezano na vrh glave. Je bil kt en petelinček. »Ta po figana« je bila s tako veliko rožo. Lahko je bla pa tut mejhna roža.« (Terenski zapiski, 7. 11. 2011)Peča je v 19. stoletju sodila med vsakdanje in pražnje žensko pokrivalo, v petelinčkovo vezavo – na Beli pri Preddvoru so tako zavezano pečo imenovali »ta pofigana« – pa se je razvila v okviru kostumiranja za posebne priložnosti.»Ene so mele pečo. Peče so imel bl bogat, razkošn. Mrbit jo j naša teta tut mela. Tiste, ki so se kej ukvarjale s kšnmu petjam, so jo mele. Vse ta velke kmetice so jih tut mele. Za na ohcet so dale peče. Vse do danes je ostal kroj telovnikov v osnovi enak. Spremembe so se pod vplivom modnih smernic posameznih obdobij odražale v obliki ovratnikov, žepov, gumbov ter v uporabljenem materialu in barvi. ...Tako na fotografijah Preddvorčanov in okoličanov lahko vidimo pokončne ovratnike in priležne s fazoniranim ali šal ovratnikom. Po prvi vojni so bili pogostejši telovniki brez ovratnika, s koničastim izrezom. Zapenjanje je bilo lahko enoredno ali dvoredno. Spredaj so bili po navadi podloženi, zadnji del pa je bil izdelan iz bombažnega blaga. Na zadnjem delu je bila na dveh trakovih prišita še zaponka za uravnavanje širine. Podloženi so bili z vzorčastim (pogosto črtastim ali karirastim) ali enobarvnim bombažnim blagom, zadnji del pa je bil izdelan iz črnega klota (gladek bombažen material z lepim leskom) ali drugega temnejšega bombažnega materiala. Telovniki so segali do pasu in bili spredaj navadno nekoliko podaljšani.
The International Folklore Festival (IFF) has been held in Zagreb since 1966. The organizers of the IFF have entrusted the conception and programme of the Festival to experts – ethnologists and ...folklorists. The author has been professional and artistic director of the Festival since 1992 and is also research advisor for the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research. Planning the IFF each year has been fraught with professional and organizational challenges. In addition to questions about the purpose of and idea behind the IFF and trying to widen it programmatically, dilemmas concerning the advantages and disadvantages of tying scientific and applied ethnology and the problem of the possible politicization of the IFF are always present.
This translation of the book ('The Historical Roots of Magic Tale') written by one of the most prominent Russian folklorists of the 20th century Vladimir Yakovlevich Propp, presents one more ...classical work of anthropological and folkloristical science to Slovenian researchers. The theoretical starting-points which Propp concived in his book “Morphology of the Folktale” was in this work projected on concrete material – on Russian and European folktales. By comparing folktale motifs with actual historical and anthropological sources he substantiated his structuralistical and ritualistical theoties in folk narrative research and folkloristics.
Presented are seven folktales from Resia in northern Italy with a strong Slovene minority. On CD are presented narratives which have been recorded on magnetic tape by Academician Milko Matičetov. ...Translations from the Resian dialect in Slovene and in Italian language are published in accompanying book. One folk tale was recently recorded by Roberto Dapit in the Resian village of Lischiazze/Liščaci, and has been included in the collection to illustrate contemporary Resian narrative tradition. The tales recorded on the compact disk represent four different language groups of the Resian dialect, namely that of Stolvizza/Solbica, Oseacco/Osojane, San Giorgio/Bila, and Gniva/Njiva. Focusing on Slovenian mythology the book contains a review of Slovenian mythological, historical, and narrative material. Over 150 supernatural beings are presented, both lexically and according to ...the role that they have in Slovenian folklore. They are classified by type, characteristic, features, and by the message conveyed in their motifs and contents. The material has been analysed in the context of European and some non-European mythological concepts, and the author deals with theory and interpretations as well as the conclusions of domestic and foreign researchers. The book forms new starting points and a classification of supernatural beings within a frame of a number of sources, some of which have been published for the first time in this book.
