Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of five different beverages and polishing on the color change of two different temporary prosthetic materials manufactured with different ...methods.
Method: 160 (10x2 mm) disc-shaped samples were fabricated using direct (Acrytemp)(n=80) and indirect (Imident) (n=80) temporary prosthetic materials. Samples prepared using molds were divided into four groups as polished (direct/indirect material) and unpolished (direct/indirect material) (n=40 each). After initial measurement of L,a,b values using a spectrophotometer, the samples in each group were immersed in five different beverages (distilled water (DW), coffee (CF), cola (CC), sour cherry juice (CJ), red wine (RW) (n=8) and stored for 7 days. Then, the spectrophotometric measurements of the samples were repeated and the color change (ΔE00) values were calculated. Data were analyzed using a three-way-ANOVA followed by post hoc Tukey HSD test (p=0.05).

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, yapım teknikleri farklılık gösteren iki geçici protetik materyal üzerinde beş farklı içeceğin ve polisajın renk değişimine olan etkisini değerlendirmektir.
Yöntem: 160 adet (10x2 mm) disk şeklinde numune, direk (Acrytemp) (n=80) ve indirek (Imident) (n=80) geçici protetik materyaller kullanılarak elde edildi. Kalıp kullanılarak hazırlanan numuneler, polisaj işlemi uygulanan ve uygulanmayan olarak iki ayrı gruba bölündü(n=40). İlk L, a, b değerleri bir spektrofotometre kullanılarak ölçüldükten sonra, numuneler beş farklı içeceğe (distile su (DW), kahve (CF), cola (CC), vişne suyu (CJ), kırmızı şarap (RW)) daldırıldı ve bir hafta süre ile bekletildi. Ardından numunelerin spektrofotometrik ölçümleri tekrarlandı ve renk değişimi (∆E00) değerleri belirlendi. U radu je opisan utjecaj dicikloheksiluree (DCU) i diizopropiluree (DiPrU), u bočnom lancu monomera na osnovi (met)akrilata, na kopolimerizaciju sa stirenom (St) i α-metilstirenom (α-MeSt), toplinsku ...stabilnost i mehanizam razgradnje priređenih kopolimera. Polimerizacija je provedena s dibenzoil-peroksidom (Bz2O2) u butanonu ili dioksanu pri 70 °C, do niske konverzije. Rezultati pokazuju izrazite razlike u početnoj brzini polimerizacije i svojstvima polimera akrilatnih i metakrilatnih monomera u ovisnosti o supstituentu u bočnom lancu. Dok N-akril-N,N--dicikloheksilurea (A-DCU) lako homopolimerizira i kopolimerizira sa St-om i α-MeSt-om, N-metakril-N,N-dicikloheksilurea (MA-DCU) ne homopolimerizira niti kopolimerizira s α-MeSt-om, ali kopolimerizira sa St-om iako sporije nego odgovarajući akrilni monomer. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da uvođenje diizopropiluree umjesto dicikloheksiluree u metakrilatnom monomeru također utječe na početnu brzinu polimerizacije. Naime, N-(met)akril-N,N--diizopropilurea (MA-DiPrU) ne homopolimerizira niti kopolimerizira s α-MeSt-om. Polimerizacija sa St-om je sporija u usporedbi s odgovarajućim monomerom koji sadrži DCU. Kopolimerizacija je statistička reakcija u kojoj je, neovisno o sastavu smjese komonomera, uvijek veći udjel St-a u kopolimeru. Toplinsko ponašanje svih polimera u osnovi je slično. Zagrijavanjem pri temperaturama od 100 °C - 450 °C razgrađuju se dvostupnjevitim mehanizmom. U prvom stupnju pri temperaturama od 180 °C - 250 °C dolazi do izdvajanja cikloheksilizocijanata (C6H11NCO), odnosno izopropilizocijanata (C3H7NCO). Čvrsti ostaci identificirani su kao kopolimeri N-(met)akril-cikloheksilamida (A-CHA, MA-CHA), odnosno N-(met)akril-izopropilamida (MA-iPrA) sa St-om ili α-MeSt-om. Stabilni su do 280 °C, a zatim se u jednom stupnju razgrađuju pri temperaturama od 280 °C - 450 °C.
U radu je opisana sinteza i polimerizacija akrilnih monomera koji imaju dicikloheksilureu (DCU) u bočnom lancu. Polimerizacijom akril-DCU s etilen-glikol dimetakrilatom (EDMA) do visoke konverzije, u ...butanonu s benzoil-peroksidom (Bz2O2), pri temperaturi od 70 °C sintetizirani su umreženi kopolimeri različitog sastava. Pri uvjetima kontrolirane termičke razgradnje u TG analizatoru, u temperaturnom području od 100 °C do 500 °C u struji dušika, kopolimeri se razgrađuju dvostupnjevitim mehanizmom. U prvom stupnju, od 180 °C do 250 °C, izdvaja se cikloheksilizocijanat. Ostatci nakon uklanjanja izocijanata termički su stabilni molekulski tiskani (nanoporozni) kopolimeri akril-cikloheksilamida (A-CHA) s EDMA, koji se razgrađuju u jednom stupnju pri temperaturi od 300 °C do 450 °C.
Radi usporedbe svojstava molekulski tiskanih, nanoporoznih kopolimera poli(A-CHA-ko-EDMA) s odgovarajućim neporoznim kopolimerima, sintetizirani su neporozni kopolimeri A-CHA s EDMA pri navedenim uvjetima.
