Drawing on social information processing theory and a career development perspective, we examined the effect of transformational leadership on the perceived overqualification via career growth ...opportunities, and how the supervisor-subordinate guanxi moderates the relationship between transformational leadership and perceived overqualification. We tested this proposal using three waves of lagged data collected from 351 company employees in the Yangtze River Delta region in China. The results revealed that transformational leadership had an indirect effect on perceived overqualification through career growth opportunities, and supervisor-subordinate guanxi moderated the positive association between transformational leadership and career growth opportunities. In addition, the mediating effect of transformational leadership on perceived overqualification through career growth opportunities was stronger when the level of supervisor-subordinate guanxi was high and weaker when it was low. The findings have theoretical and practical implications for reducing employees' perceptions of overqualification in the organizational context.
Against a backdrop of scant scholarly evidence regarding the effectiveness of E-Participation (EP) in enabling broader macro-level outcomes, we posit that electronic participation use by governments ...in engaging citizens leads to a more inclusive human development and superior environmental performance, directly as well as indirectly through corruption control. Towards this, we employ human-centered development perspective, the “just” environmental sustainability paradigm, agency theory, and rent-seeking theory to draw linkages between EP, Corruption Control, Inclusive Human Development, and Environmental Performance. Using publicly available archival data for 132 countries, we carry out an empirical analysis and establish that higher EP is positively associated with Inclusive Human Development and subsequently Environmental Performance. Specifically, our results substantiate the role of Corruption Control as an intervening mechanism via which EP's impact on Environmental Performance assumes effectiveness. Our findings contribute to the theoretical discourse on EP by extending the analysis of EP impacts beyond its immediate outcomes (such as Corruption Control) to include higher-order macro-level impacts (such as Inclusive Human Development and Environmental Performance). In doing so, we uncover fresh evidence of EP's effectiveness in enabling Inclusive Human Development and Environmental Performance on a global scale. Based on these observations, we draw implications for theory and practice, and avenues for future research.

This study explores the psychological factors affecting youth marriage from the perspective of the development of Iran in 2040. The present research, which was conducted using the Delphi method, is ...applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of data collection. The statistical population included all experts in the field of marriage issues. The mentioned specialists have been experts in marriage counseling, marriage psychology, divorce counseling, and marriage sociology. Based on theoretical and practical considerations, 20 experienced marriage experts were identified and interviewed in different cities of Iran. After 20 interviews, theoretical saturation was achieved. Semi-structured interviews, a researcher-made scale based on expert opinions, and a questionnaire of basic uncertainties were used to collect data. Researchers have developed all three tools, whose validity and reliability were assessed and confirmed in the present study. The collected data were described using descriptive statistics, including frequency, central indices, and dispersion indices. In addition, the Friedman ranking test was used to examine the research questions. Based on the results and in terms of importance, the individual-psychological components affecting future youth marriage were as follows: mutual understanding, couple attachment style, cognitive flexibility, parenting style, intellectual maturity, married life knowledge, and self-awareness. In general, the findings of the present study can help youth marriage-related institutions in designing future plans.
Background and Aim: As deaf children grow up, they face difficulties that can affect their physical, emotional, motor, and cognitive development. This study reviews the recent studies conducted on ...motor development of deaf children based on Gallahue's model. Recent Findings: Few studies have been conducted on deaf children's motor development stages; reflexive, rhythmic, rudimentary, and specialized movement. However, many studies investigated the fundamental movement stage with an emphasis on balance. They mostly reported the deaf children’s delay in developing gait velocity (during walking), postural control, static balance, dynamic balance, spatial-temporal coordination, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and motor skills learning, compared with their healthy peers. Conclusion: Delay in motor development in deaf children is not necessarily the result of deafness or vestibular problems, but individual, environmental, and exercise factors are also involved. Providing appropriate educational opportunities for these children, training specialized teachers and parents, and holding training courses for hearing specialists can help promote motor development in these children.
Despite previous research suggests that ethical leadership stimulates employees’ ethical and prosocial behaviors, still little is known about when ethical leadership may be more (vs. less) effective ...in promoting employee knowledge sharing, a generous and ethical behavior of “donation” in the knowledge management domain at work. Drawing on career development perspective, the current study tested a mediated moderation model in which career age moderates the ethical leadership-knowledge sharing relationship through career plateau. Using multi-wave and multi-source data from a sample of 301 employees in an information technology company, results demonstrated that career age was positively related to career plateau, which in turn moderated the relationship between ethical leadership and employee knowledge sharing, such that the relationship was weaker for employees with high levels of career plateau.
The rapidly increasing installed renewable energy capacity has drawn greater attention to energy storage technology in China. However, the commercial implementation of energy storage is constrained ...by several obstacles. One potential solution to overcome these constraints is the shared energy storage model. The optimal location layout plays a crucial role in addressing the strategic decision problem of sustainable development. Therefore, a two-stage multi-criteria decision-making model is proposed to identify the optimal locations of shared energy storage projects in this work. In the first stage, the power attraction model is established to determine the macroscopic layout of shared energy storage. In the second stage, a large-scale group decision making (LSGDM) framework is developed to select the optimal micro location. The empirical study conducted in China reveals that Shandong, Henan, and Hebei provinces exhibit greater power flow attraction, from which eight alternatives are selected as site preferences and evaluated by twenty experts. Based on the improved EDAS method, the evaluation score function values of the eight alternatives are 0.497, 0.5, 0.476, 0.499, 0.507, 0.477, 0.506, and 0.498, respectively. Specifically, A5 in Rao Yang County, Hengshui City and A7 in Qing Long Manchu Autonomous County, Qinhuangdao City are preferred locations. Furthermore, the dependability and stability of the model are illustrated through the sensitivity analysis and comparative analysis. This model not only assists in determining the layout of shared energy storage but also contributes to the theoretical study of geographic information system and LSGDM.

Researchers have begun to test the idea that work and family can benefit, rather than just conflict with one another; yet, theoretical development is lacking. In this paper, we define work–family ...facilitation — or the positive influence of an individual's engagement in a domain on functioning of another life
system. We merge and extend ideas from Positive Organizational Scholarship Cameron, K. S., Dutton, J. E., & Quinn, R. E. (2003). Foundations of Positive Organizational Scholarship. In K. S. Cameron, J. E. Dutton, & R. E. Quinn, (Eds.),

The American Psychologist, 44, 513–524 to develop the Resource–Gain–Development perspective. Using this perspective, we explain why and how facilitation occurs, what contributes to it, and why it relates to domain outcomes. We use this perspective to draw broad constructs representing predictors, moderators, and consequences of facilitation. To illustrate how one might test these theoretical propositions and to provide an agenda for research, we provide specific exemplars of the work-to-family direction. Implications for human resource research and practice are discussed.
Grounded in the resource-gain-development perspective and research on generational differences, the present study examined the mediating role of work-self facilitation in the relationship between ...family supportive supervisor behaviors (FSSB) and employee life satisfaction and examined the moderating role of generational differences. We collected time-lagged data with a 6-month interval from a sample of 321 Chinese employees. The results showed that work-self facilitation mediated the relationship between FSSB and life satisfaction. Further, generational differences moderated the indirect effect of FSSB on life satisfaction through work-self facilitation, such that the indirect effect was stronger for millennials than for older employees. The present study contributes to a better understanding of how FSSB might promote employees' life satisfaction and whether this process might affect some employees more than others. The results provide practical implications for fostering employee life satisfaction.
