Opasnost od epidemije zarazne bolesti COVID-19, Ministarstvo zdravstva proglasilo je u ožujku 2020. godine za cijelo područje Hrvatske. Rad u zdravstvu tijekom pandemije doveo je zdravstvene ...djelatnike u povećani stres i rizik od zaraze. Zdravstveni radnici tijekom pandemije moraju koristiti dodatnu osobnu zaštitnu opremu (OZO) kako bi se zaštitili. Cilj istraživanja bio je saznati stavove zdravstvenih djelatnika u primarnoj zdravstvenoj zaštiti o potrebi za dodatnom edukacijom o pravilnoj uporabi osobne zaštitne opreme. Istraživanje je provedeno od listopada 2020. do siječnja 2021. godine. Odgovori su prikupljeni on-line upitnikom. Obavijest o istraživanju poslana je zdravstvenim djelatnicima na e-mail putem stručnih društava u zdravstvu. Upitnik je ispunilo 184 zdravstvenih djelatnika. Najveća skupina ispitanika bili su liječnici (N=146; 79,3 %). Dodatne poslove zbog COVID-19 bolesti obavljalo je 110 (59,8 %) ispitanika. Među dodatne poslove naveli su rad na trijaži, dežurstva u COVID ambulantama, uzimanje briseva, pregled pacijenata s pozitivnim SARS-CoV-2 nalazom, telefonska dežurstva i informacije za pacijente te uzimanje epidemiološke anamneze kao i izricanje mjera samoizolacije. Edukaciju o osobnoj zaštitnoj opremi tijekom školovanja za sadašnje zanimanje imao je svega 71 ispitanik (38,6 %) od kojih je njih 27 odgovorilo da im je to stečeno znanje bilo dovoljno za siguran rad tijekom epidemije. Većina ispitanika (90 %) navodi da želi ići na dodatnu edukaciju o osobnoj zaštitnoj opremi. Na temelju rezultata može se zaključiti da je edukacija potrebna kako tijekom redovitog obrazovanja tako i kroz kontinuiranu medicinsku edukaciju putem stručnih društava.
The danger of the COVID-19 infectious disease epidemic was declared by the Ministry of Health in March 2020 for the entire territory of Croatia. Working in healthcare during the pandemic has put healthcare workers at increased stress and risk of infection. Healthcare workers must use additional personal protective equipment (PPE) during a pandemic to protect themselves from infection. The aim of the research was to find out the attitudes of health care workers in primary health care about the need for additional education on the proper use of personal protective equipment. The survey was conducted from October 2020 to January 2021. Responses were collected through an online questionnaire. Notice of the study was sent to healthcare professionals by e-mail through healthcare professional societies. The questionnaire was completed by 184 health professionals. The largest group of subjects were physicians (N = 146; 79.3%). Additional jobs due to COVID-19 disease were performed by 110 (59.8%) respondents. Additional tasks included work on triage, on-call duty at COVID dispensaries, swabbing, examination of patients with a positive SARS-CoV-2 test, telephone on-call and patient information, and taking an epidemiological history as well as imposing self-isolation measures. Only 71 respondents (38.6%) had education on personal protective equipment during training for their current occupation, of which 27 answered that this acquired knowledge was enough for them to work safely during the epidemic. The majority of respondents (90%) believe that they need additional education on personal protective equipment. Based on the results, it can be concluded that education is needed both during regular education and through continuous medical education through professional societies.

Sigurnost na radu bilježi svoje početke od ranih civilizacija, pa sve do
današnjeg modernog doba. Kako se povijest sigurnosti na radu ne bi zaboravila, potrebno je stvoriti muzej u kojem će se ...omogućiti njen prikaz, o čemu govori ovaj rad. U radu su dani povijesni teorijski prikazi zaštite na radu u pojedinim područjima ljudske djelatnosti. Daje se opširan pregled muzeja, što uključuje razne planove, artefakte, modernu sigurnosnu opremu, aktivnosti, ostalu opremu za rad, elektronički muzej i troškove. Zadatak muzeja sigurnosne opreme je educirati ljude o važnosti sigurnosti na radu, što znači implementirati svijest o zaštiti na radu, kako bi se postigla planirana prevencija s ciljem sprječavanja ili smanjena rizika na radnom mjestu i izvan njega. Prikazat ćemo rezultate projekta i predviđanja za daljnji razvoj.
Safety at work has started to be developed in the first civilizations and it is still developed in the modern age. In order not to forget safety at work, it is necessary to create a museum that will present safety at work, and this paper will explore that. The paper presents historical and theoretical examples of safety at work in some specific areas of human activities. It gives a large-scale overview of the museum, which includes plans, artefacts, modern safety equipment, activities, other working equipment, electronic museum and costs. The aim of the museum is to educate people about the importance of safety at work, which means to
increase consciousness about safety at work in order to achieve the planned prevention with the aim of eliminating or reducing risk in and outside the working place. The paper will show the results of the project and predictions of further development.
Cilj rada bio je dobiti uvid u iskustva stručnjaka o radu u području udomiteljstva trudnica i/ili roditelja s djetetom. Istraživanje je provedeno sa stručnjacima iz područja zaštite prava djece i ...obitelji (N = 59). Podatci su prikupljeni pomoću upitnika te obrađeni kvantitativnom analizom sadržaja. Rezultati ukazuju na nerazvijenost udomiteljstva za trudnice ili roditelja s djecom u Hrvatskoj pri čemu stručnjaci opisuju izazove u radu u vidu poteškoća i prepreka na strani udomiteljskih obitelji, korisnika, države i stručnjaka. Kao posebno osjetljivim prepoznaju udomiteljstvo maloljetnih majki i maloljetnih roditelja koje za sobom nosi i određene izazove u skrbi, ali i rizike. Kompetencije koje bi udomitelji trudnica ili majki s djecom trebali imati opisuju znanjem i vještinom, potrebnom stručnom spremom, dobi, vlastitim osobinama i prethodnim iskustvom. Stručnjaci navode da bi edukacija udomitelja trebala obuhvatiti teme vezane uz ulogu stručnjaka, sustava i udomitelja, zatim teme koje se odnose na odnos i dužnosti udomitelja prema trudnici/roditelju i njihovoj djeci, kao i teme vezane uz kontakt udomitelja s partnerom – ocem djeteta, obitelji trudnice/roditelja, kao i s lokalnom zajednicom. Stručnjaci daju i preporuke za unapređenje trenutnog stanja udomiteljstva trudnica ili roditelja s djecom u RH.
The aim of this paper was to gain insight into the experience of a specialist working with pregnancy or parenting in foster care. The survey was conducted with experts (N=59) from the area of protection of childrens' and family rights. Data were collected by questionnaire and then processed by quantitative content analysis. The results indicate the underdevelopment of pregnancy or parenting foster care in Croatia, where experts describe challenges in the form of difficulties and obstacles for foster families, beneficiaries, the state, and professionals. They recognize the foster care of underage mothers and underage parents as particularly sensitive, which brings certain challenges in care and risks. The competencies that foster parents of pregnant women or parents with children should have are described through knowledge and skills, required education, age, personal characteristics, and previous experience. Experts state that foster care education should include topics related to the role of professionals, the system, and foster parents, as well as topics related to the relationship and duties of foster parents towards pregnant women/parents and their children, as well as topics related to foster parents' contact with the partner (the child’s father), the family of the minor pregnant woman or mother, as well as with the local community. Experts also give recommendations for improving the current state of pregnancy or parenting foster care in the Republic of Croatia.

The aim of this e-research carried out in the school year 2019/2020, on a sample of 425 learning support assistants, was to establish the level of self-perceived knowledge about inclusion and working ...with students with autism among learning support assistants. The aim of the research was also to establish which of the socio-demographic indicators contribute to self-perceived knowledge about working with students with autism, but also to inclusion in general. The Questionnaire on the Self-Perceived Knowledge on Inclusion and Autism (SZIA), which consists of two subscales, was designed for the purposes of this research. The first subscale, Self-perceived specific knowledge on autism, measures self-perceived knowledge on working with students with autism; while the other subscale, Self-perceived general knowledge on inclusion, measures self-perceived knowledge of the learning support assistant on inclusion in general. A socio-demographic questionnaire was also compiled by which other data on research participants were collected. According to the obtained results, self-perceived knowledge about working with students with autism showed a statistically significant positive relationship with the initial motive for working with those students. Completion of training for becoming a learning support assistant and experience in working with those students showed a significant negative relationship with self-perceived knowledge about working with students with autism. However, neither motive, training nor experience played an essential role in self-perceived knowledge about inclusion. Also, there were statistically significant differences among study participants in self-perceived knowledge about working with students with autism. This applies in particular to the initial motive for work, completed training for learning support assistant and the experience of working with students with autism, while years of work as an assistant did not make a statistically significant difference. Finally, self-perceived knowledge on inclusion was shown to contribute statistically significantly to self-perceived knowledge of working with students with autism. This kind of research has great potential for gaining a better insight into the knowledge and competencies of assistants, and thus the quality of their work.
Occupational and sports medicine (OSM) education is poorly represented in Croatian university undergraduate medical curricula. Zagreb University medical students are required to take OSM classes for ...a week on their final year of studies. The classes are organised around team-based learning (TBL). Given that students who attend TBL classes have significantly higher exam scores than students who take lectures
, the aim of this study was to assess students’ knowledge and attitudes immediately after TBL OSM classes. This cross-sectional study included 162 final-year Zagreb University School of Medicine students taking TBL classes in OSM in the academic year of 2019/2020. They were recruited from 30 September 2019 to 4 March 2020. Participants filled in a 20-item questionnaire compiled by the authors and adapted to the Croatian legislation. Their answers demonstrated positive attitude toward OSM classes and negative attitude toward occupational medicine practice and OSM specialty. They showed moderate interest only for the job of sports physician. Even though they showed sufficient knowledge of OSM immediately after the course was completed, they were moderately satisfied with their knowledge. Our findings call for rethinking the practical aspects of teaching OSM classes in order to promote OSM practice among medical students or at least raise awareness about the importance of prevention of numerous work or sport-related disorders.
The paper examines the risk of academic music education for the health of students, and the inclusion of adequate health education for music students in study programmes at music academies in the ...Republic of Croatia. Results of contemporary scientific research have shown that young musicians, included in specialized music education, begin as early as in their childhood suffering from physical and mental problems connected with performing music. These problems escalate at the beginning of their studies. Frequent occurrence of physical and mental problems among students and professional musicians shows that engaging in highly skilled music presents a risk in the context of the health of musicians-performers. The analysis of study programmes for musicians-performers conducted at music academies in Croatia (N = 51) has shown that there exist neither courses nor any consistence regarding the set study outcomes in other study programme courses, which cover health education. The academic education of future music professionals and pedagogues in Croatia includes no necessary courses either for the preservation of physical and mental health or for the prevention of professional illnesses. Expressed is the need for conducting empirical research of the presence of health problems and education of students regarding potential health risks, and ways to seek advice and help. Results of this research and the proposed empirical research among students of music might be helpful in connection with raising awareness of the importance of the health education of future professional musicians and music pedagogues. They might furthermore be of help in the context of the implementation of a systematic education aimed at the preservation of the physical and mental health of students of music academies.
U okviru nastave iz obaveznog predmeta Medicina i druÅ¡tvo (predmet obuhvaća medicinskosocioloÅ¡ki, medicinsko-etiÄki i socijalno-medicinski dio) na prvoj godini osnovnih studija Medicinskog ...fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu, 2007., 2008., 2009. i 2012. godine, na prijedlog odgovornog nastavnika prof. dr. Karela Turze, a u suradnji s patronažnom službom Doma zdravlja “Novi Beogradâ€, organizirane su posjete romskim nehigijenskim naseljima2. Cilj ovih posjeta bio je neposredni kontakt studenata s pripadnicima romske populacije, te susret sa zdravstvenim, i Å¡ire, svakodnevnim životnim problemima ljudi koji žive u nehigijenskim naseljima. Na taj naÄin budućim lijeÄnicima omogućeno je da se mnogo prije realnog suoÄavanja s bolesnicima koji su pripadnici romske populacije, suoÄe i s vlastitim predrasudama i stereotipima koji mogu biti smetnja u uspostavljanju kvalitetnog odnosa lijeÄnik - bolesnik. Autori navode neka saznanja o zdravstvenoj zaÅ¡titi i zdravstvenim problemima romske populacije do kojih su doÅ¡li prilikom spomenutih organiziranih posjeta romskim nehigijenskim naseljima. Autori predlažu ovakve i sliÄne organizirane posjete pripadnicima razliÄitih vulnerabilnih skupina kao neizostavni element bioetiÄke edukacije budućih lijeÄnika.
U nastojanjima poticanja gospodarskog razvoja te smanjenja nezaposlenosti i suzbijanja siromaštva sve se više prepoznaje uloga poduzetništva. Ističu se njegove brojne prednosti te se sve češće ...raspravlja o potrebnim poduzetničkim kompetencijama i njihovom razvoju. Glavni cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati efekte edukacije o poduzetništvu na poželjnost poduzetništva, poduzetničku samoefikasnost i poduzetničke namjere studenata. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 48 ispitanika (eksperimentalna i kontrolna skupina), a mjerenje je provedeno prije i nakon edukacije o poduzetništvu. Rezultati pokazuju da polaznici nakon edukacije značajno bolje procjenjuju svoje poduzetničke vještine i sposobnosti, međutim, na skali poželjnosti poduzetništva ostvaruju niže rezultate u odnosu na prvo mjerenje. U istraživanju su ispitivane razlike s obzirom na spol te je utvrđeno da u oba mjerenja studenti u odnosu na studentice ostvaruju statistički značajno više rezultate na svim korištenim skalama. Uspoređujući studente/ice ekonomskih i neekonomskih usmjerenja utvrđeno je kako studenti/ice ekonomskih usmjerenja ostvaruju više rezultate na jednom aspektu poduzetničkog potencijala (poduzetnička svjesnost) te skali poželjnosti poduzetništva, skali poduzetničkih namjera i skali stupnja razvijenosti poduzetničkih znanja, vještina i sposobnosti.
In the efforts to stimulate economic development, reduce unemployment and tackle poverty, the role of entrepreneurship is increasingly recognized. Its numerous benefits are emphasized and it is increasingly discussed about the necessary entrepreneurial competencies and their development. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of education program on entrepreneurship desirability, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intentions of students. In total 48 students participated in the study (experimental and control group). All measurements were carried out before and after the entrepreneurship education program. The results indicate that attendees significantly improve their entrepreneurial skills and abilities after their education. However, on the scale of entrepreneurial desirability they achieve lower results after the program. The gender differences were investigated and the results indicated that male students achieved statistically significant higher results on all scales used, at both measurements. By comparing students of economic and non-economic orientation, it was established that the students of economic orientation achieve higher results in one aspect of entrepreneurial potential (entrepreneurial awareness) as well as at the desirability of entrepreneurship scale, entrepreneurial intentions scale and at the development of entrepreneurial skills and abilities scale.
The article discusses the role of the forestry topics in numismatic, ie money, one of the most important features of the sovereignty of every country. First part of the article deals with the ...historical emergence of the concept of money and numismatics. Special emphasis is placed on the Croatian currency kuna, which can serve as an educational and promotional tool in forestry. There are numerous examples from Croatia, but also from other countries, of motifs on the banknotes and coins which are raising awareness that we need to preserve the protected plant and animal species, and better management of forestry. Article also provide guidelines for the further promotion of forestry through this unique the communication channel.
U članku se opisuje uloga motiva iz područja šumarstva u numizmatici, odnosno na novcu, jednom od najvažnijih obilježja suverenosti svake države. U prvom dijelu prikazan je povijesni nastanak novca i pojam numizmatike. Poseban je naglasak na hrvatskoj novčanoj jedinici kuni, koja u velikoj mjeri može poslužiti kao edukativno-promidžbeni alat u šumarstvu. Brojni su primjeri iz Hrvatske i svijeta, čiji motivi na novčanicama i kovanicama utječu na podizanje svijesti o potrebi očuvanja zaštićenih biljnih i životinjskih vrsta te boljeg gospodarenja u šumarstvu. Također daju se smjernice za daljnjom promidžbom šumarstva putem ovog jedinstvenog komunikacijskog kanala.
Intenzivna primjena informacijskih tehnologija u svakodnevnom poslovanju ne mijenja samo tradicionalne načine obavljanja računovodstvenih zadataka, već traži i specijalizirana znanja i vještine. U ...tom smislu, od iznimnog je značaja edukacija vezana uz informacijske tehnologije i primjenu informacijskih tehnologija u računovodstvu, a koju budući profesionalni računovođe stječu tijekom formalnog obrazovanja na visokoškolskim institucijama. Cilj rada je istražiti pojavnost kolegija koji pružaju edukaciju o informacijskim tehnologijama na računovodstvenim smjerovima, na preddiplomskoj i diplomskoj razini studija, na visokoškolskim institucijama s AACSB akreditacijom (eng. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) u odabranim europskim zemljama. U radu se također identificiraju vrste informacijskih tehnologija koje se izučavaju u okviru kolegija na računovodstvenim smjerovima na preddiplomskoj i diplomskoj razini studija. U istraživanju je korištena metoda analize sadržaja web stranica, pri čemu je analiziran 51 studijski program računovodstvenog usmjerenja. Rezultati provedenog empirijskog istraživanja nadopunjuju postojeće spoznaje pružajući uvid u informacijske tehnologije koje se izučavaju na preddiplomskoj i diplomskoj razini studijskih programa računovodstvenog usmjerenja u europskom kontekstu, a koje u značajnoj mjeri korespondiraju tehnologijama koje se primjenjuju u recentnoj računovodstvenoj praksi.
