Evaluation of the effectiveness of corrosion inhibitors for concrete : project SLO-2

The applications of inhibitors is one of the most promising techniques for anti-corrosion protection. Experimental results obtained by different electrochemical techniques have shown that the ...inhibitor added in simulated pore solution can slow-down the corrosion reactions on steel. Results of the reinforcement concrete specimens exposed in a hostile enviroment have shown that use of the inhibitors can protect steel surface only in certain cases.
