    Relatively successful course of the radical economic transformation in the Czech Republic was replaced by an unfavourable development of many decisive macroeconomic signposts in the last period. The ... transformation of the agrarian sector and its critical moments represent an organic part of the transformation of the whole Czech economy and society. Critical aspects of the ability of the Czech agriculture to compete are demonstrated by Porter's model. In the future it will be very efficient to pay an attention to institutional-evolutional methodological approach to the transformation process and to main scenarios of a possible development of the Czech agriculture.
