  • A vertical farm - first experience and simulation prediction of combined greenhouse and horse stable

    In this article a concept of a vertical farm is shown. The vertical farm is a combination of buried stable and a greenhouse at the top of the stable. Both components are connected together by ... ventilation holes. Such a concept enables a very efficient exploitation of land and an optimal transfer of heat and mass between these two elements, which form the vertical farm. This article presents a concept and some of the five year operation experiences of vertical farm. This article presents a five year operation experiences of smaller vertical farm and introduces a concept of a larger one which has to be built.
