    The work of the Drop-in day centre is aimed at those illegal drug users who are not yet able or do not wish to abstain from drugs. The most important taskis to establish contact and to try to raise ... their quality of life. We can achieve this by reducing psychological, social, and health problems and by teaching them how to reduce the harm caused by drugs to a minimum. The primaryaim is not to reach abstinence, but to support and encourage any kind of change for the better that the individuals choose, that is, that they are able to choose.
