  • Nove indikatorske vrednosti diatomej za ocenjevanje kakovosti voda v Sloveniji = New indicator values of common diatoms for assessment of water quality in Slovenia

    We used data of 734 samples from biological research and chemical analyses in order to assess new saprobic values and indicative weights of diatoms in Slovenia. We determined new saprobic values for ... species which were found in 40or more samples. The comparison between the new saprobic values and values related to the same species and used in Germany, Austria, Russia, Czech Republic and Slovakia showed, that the recently derived saprobic values were more similar to the indicator values used to assess water quality in Austria than to those used in other countries.
