  • Die Entwicklung der Landwirtschaft - Erfolgsfaktor unterentwickelter Regionen Sloweniens

    In Slovenia there still appear trends of population concentration, economic and noneconomic factors in urban and suburban centres. For work and life less attractive countryside space in hilly regions ... are still demographically empty. With the purpose of stopping negative trends in the development of regions with difficult conditions for cultivation we will show in this paper some differential advantageous agricultural measures in those regions and the influence of agriculture on other economic branches, mainly on the development of tourism, which will be shown in the fourth part. In the first part of the paper we will define the characteristics of hilly regions and the meaning of agriculture on the development of that area. In the second part we will present those agricultural branches which are decisive for the development of hilly regions. In the last part in the case of Kozjansko-Obsotelje region we will propose a model for eco-social development in the region, which is classed as a hilly region.
