    The concentration of polychlorated pesticides in serum of randomly selected women 30 days after delivery, that is in the group of breast-feeding women andin the group who fed their infants with ... adapted cow milk, was measured. pesticides were assessed by gas chromatography. In both groups concentrations of ppDDE were the highest, but the concentrations were somewhat higher in the serum of women who were breast-feeding. In the same group follow the concentrations of HCB, ppDDT, opDDT lindane and HCB. In breast-feeding women lindane is on the second place, followed by HCB, ppDDT, opDDT and HCB. There were no significant differences. The hypothesis of women having higher concentrations of pesticides due to higher intake of calories was thus nor confirmed.
