We present the results of a search for the flavor changing neutral current decay inline imageinline image using 6.1 fbsuper-1 of inline imageinline image collisions at inline imageinline image ...collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The observed number of inline imageinline image candidates is consistent with background expectations. The resulting upper limit on the branching fraction is inline imageinline image at the 95% C.L. This limit is a factor of 2.4 better than that of the previous D0 analysis and the best limit to date.

The reaction cross sections for the interaction of exotic nuclei {sup 6}He and {sup 11}Li with {sup 12}C nuclei are calculated for energies of about 0.8 GeV per nucleon. The cross sections calculated ...by the exact Glauber formula are compared with their counterparts found by using the formulas of the optical limit, the rigidtarget approximation, and the few-body approximation. The effect of the structure of the nuclei being considered on the calculated cross sections is examined. The root-mean-square radii of the {sup 6}He and {sup 11}Li nuclei are estimated on the basis of experimental data on the cross sections for the interaction of these exotic nuclei with {sup 12}C nuclei.
The inclusive dijet production double differential cross section as a function of the dijet invariant mass and of the largest absolute rapidity of the two jets with the largest transverse momentum in ...an event is measured in inline imageinline image collisions at inline imageinline image using 0.7 fbsuper-1 of integrated luminosity collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The measurement is performed in six rapidity regions up to a maximum rapidity of 2.4. Next-to-leading order perturbative QCD predictions are found to be in agreement with the data.
We present a measurement of the differential cross section for inline imageinline image events produced in inline imageinline image collisions at inline imageinline image as a function of the ...transverse momentum (p sub(T) of the top quark. The selected events contain a high-p) sub(T) lepton (l), a large imbalance in p sub(T, four or more jets with at least one candidate for a b jet, and correspond to 1 fbsuper-1 of integrated luminosity recorded with the D0 detector. Objects in the event are associated through a constrained kinematic fit to the inline imageinline image process. Results from next and next-to-next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculations agree with the measured differential cross section. Comparisons are also provided to predictions from Monte Carlo event generators using QCD calculations at different levels of precision.)

We report the results of a search for pair production of scalar bottom quarks (inline imageinline image) and scalar third-generation leptoquarks (LQ sub(3) in 5.2 fbsuper-1 of inline imageinline ...image collisions at the D0 experiment of the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. Scalar bottom quarks are assumed to decay to a neutralino (inline imageinline image) and a b quark, and we set 95% C.L. lower limits on their production in the (inline imageinline image, inline imageinline image) mass plane such as inline imageinline image for inline imageinline image and inline imageinline image for inline imageinline image. The leptoquarks are assumed to decay to a tau neutrino and a b quark, and we set a 95% C.L. lower limit of 247 GeV on the mass of a charge-1/3 third-generation scalar leptoquark.)
An analysis of the experimental data on one-pion and two-pion production in the p({alpha}, {alpha} Prime )X reaction studied in a semi-exclusive experiment at an energy of E{sub {alpha}} = 4.2 GeV ...has been performed. The obtained results demonstrate that the inelastic {alpha}-particle scattering on the proton at the energy of the experiment proceeds either through excitation and decay of the {Delta} resonance in the projectile {alpha} particle, or through excitation in the target proton of the Roper resonance, which decays into a nucleon and a pion, or a nucleon and a {sigma} meson-a system of two pions in the isospin I = 0, S-wave state.
We present a measurement of the ratio of multijet cross sections in p p A= collisions at s = 1.96 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The measurement is based on a data set corresponding to an ...integrated luminosity of 0.7 fb - 1 collected with the D0 detector. The ratio of the inclusive three-jet to two-jet cross sections, R 3 / 2 , has been measured as a function of the jet transverse momenta. The data are compared to QCD predictions in different approximations. Popular tunes of the pythia event generator do not agree with the data, while sherpa provides a reasonable description of the data. A perturbative QCD prediction in next-to-leading order in the strong coupling constant, corrected for non-perturbative effects, gives a good description of the data.
