INTRODUCTIONForeign body in urinary bladder has always been a topic of interest amongst the urologists and surgeon. Foreign body in lower urinary tract is not an unusual finding. Different types of ...foreign bodies has been retrieved from the lower urinary tract like for example, electric wire, safety pin, hairclip, intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD), gauze pieces, battery, leech, hairballs and so on.This article presents an unusual case report of the presence of kidney beans in the bladder, self-inflicted by the patient in the middle of the night for the purpose of sexual gratification or autoerotism. A 25 years old male patient, chef by occupation, presented to the outpatient department with history of insertion of 4 kidney beans 3 days back through his penis during the act of masturbation. The patient had complaints of dysuria, one episode, next morning after the act, which was relieved thereafter. Patient came to us only for the purpose of removal of the kidney beans. Attempt was made to remove the beans by non-invasive method by cystoscopy but as the beans were soaked in urine they got swollen and forceps removal was not possible. Hence, the kidney beans were removed by an invasive method by a suprapubic incision.CONCLUSIONThere has been many cases reported in literature about insertion of foreign bodies in bladder but presence of kidney beans in bladder is first of its kind as far as our knowledge is concerned.
Under the international Indian Ocean Experiment (INDOEX), ozone and related gases were simultaneously measured during prelude cruises in 1996, 1997 and the First Field Phase (FFP) cruise in 1998 over ...the Indian Ocean. The observed concentrations of ozone and precursor gases are higher near the Indian coastal region and then decrease gradually toward the southern region in the open ocean. However, the gradient is minimum in methane. During these measurements, a sharp increase in the concentrations of ozone and carbon monoxide is observed in the remote Indian Ocean. Trajectory analyses show transport of continental polluted air from South Asia during these events. Ozone and nitric oxide show diurnal patterns which differ from those over any polluted region. During the 1998 cruise, the ship travelled up to about 18 degree S and crossed the ITCZ. The resulting effect of change in wind pattern was reflected very clearly, showing different levels of ozone concentrations at the north and south of ITCZ during onward as well as on return legs.

We report the synthesis of polypyrrole composite films by chemical oxidation polymerization of pyrrole diffused inside poly(vinylidene fluoride) matrix and temperature dependant dc conductivity study ...of these composite films. Ammonium persulfate is used as an oxidizing agent and HCl as the dopant in aqueous medium. This technique produces highly conductive, flexible and free standing polymer composite films in semi-interpenetrating architecture. It is observed that conductivity of the composite films can be controlled by varying the dopant concentration. The variation of conductivity with temperature indicates the semiconducting nature of these composite films. The temperature dependence of conductivity is explained in the light of two different models from which activation energy (E sub(a) and other hopping parameters are determined. Experimental data fits well with variable range hopping model and three dimensional charge transport mechanism is shown to occur in these films.)
Casualties due to traffic accidents are increasing day by day. Think of this message being displayed on your computer screen while you were driving "there's a possibility of collision with a car in ...the next few minutes if you go on driving with this speed and direction". Our research is intended towards developing collision avoidance architecture for the latest Intelligent Transport System. The exchange of safety messages among vehicles and with infrastructure devices poses major challenges. Specially, safety messages have to be adaptively distributed within a certain range of a basically unbounded system. These messages are to be well coordinated and processed via different algorithms. The purpose of the paper is to discuss the ITWS (intelligent transportation warning system), we have discussed the Assisted Global Positioning System(AGPS) system providing additional positioning information at variable conditions. We have also discussed study the Data fusion and kalaman filter in details. The performance of kalman filter and output are discussed. Hardware realization of this model is achieved through software defined radio (SDR).
