The area that causes great attention of economic science is the issue of growth and development. The impact of human resources on economic growth is of great importance. Human capital is the driver ...of the economic growth of any national economy, on the other hand, the state is the driver of education of its population. An important driver of development is education, i.e. investing in the education system, which further drives other macroeconomic variables. Both theory and practice are increasingly dealing with the issue of human capital, as important components and factors of the overall economic development of the national economy. Investments in education result in an increase in economic growth, this increase allows for greater investment in future education. Long-term economic growth determines the standard of living, which directly affects human development. The Human Development Index sublimates several parameters in itself and at the same time shows correlations between the economy, quality of life, and level of education in the country. The paper aims to point out the importance of human capital in economic science and practice through the paradigm of the concept of human development, following the trends of HDI in the Republic of Serbia and the surrounding countries.

According to the principles of green marketing, every instrument in the marketing mix has a green perspective. National economies and enterprises have recognized the value of green marketing in meeting the needs and demands of consumers, but also as an incentive for growth and expansion of economic activities. The paper analyzes the concept of green marketing, as well as the instruments of the green marketing mix to understand its importance in modern business conditions. Environmental taxation, as an integral part of green marketing, indicates the importance and significance of preserving the environment in the function of growth and development of the economy. It is emphasized that the marketing strategy should be a response to the changing market needs, but also an incentive to create environmental awareness of consumers.
The paper points to the interaction and mutual connection of monetary and fiscal policy and their synergetic effect on economic growth. Regardless of the fact that both policies are independent in ...the implementation of their goals and apply different measures and instruments, they are not at odds in shaping economic policy, on the contrary, they complement each other and jointly contribute to ensuring macroeconomic stability and economic growth. In the Republic of Serbia, the joint effect of monetary and fiscal policy measures is reflected in the provision of macroeconomic and price stability and the reduction of public debt and a stable budget, which are key prerequisites for long-term economic growth.
Entrepreneurship development represents one of the very important factors in the development of economies in transition. Bearing in mind that most of these economies still have a significant share of ...agricultural products in the structure of production and exports, special attention should be paid to the development of entrepreneurship in the field of agriculture. The research results in this paper indicate that the share of entrepreneurs in this business activity in the total number of entrepreneurs is extremely low, as well as that their share in employment in state subventions is also low, and it can be concluded that entrepreneurship in agriculture is still not sufficiently developed. By using PROMETHEE and the entropy method, a comparative analysis of the performance of entrepreneurs in this sector and entrepreneurs in other business activities within the real sector of the economy was performed and it was concluded that the key limitations in the business operations of these entrepreneurs are inefficient funds management and high indebtedness.

The averment that there is a connection between the growth of the financial and real sectors of the economy is as old as economics science. A developed financial system encourages competition, expands the market, and increases the efficiency of financial institutions. The depth and the breadth of financial markets are growing, which are transmission to the performance and structure of the economy. Through linking savings and investments, the financial system controls and manages the risks that are characteristic of financial operations and facilitates the interaction of production and consumption. The financial systems of transition countries are not sufficiently developed, so this paper aims to point out the interconnectedness and impact of the financial system on macroeconomic stability.
