The basic aim of this treatise is to research relevant featuresof multimodal transportation chains, their advantages and disadvantagesas well as the problems of the synchronization ofwork of all the ...participants in multimodal transport. With thedevelopment of information technology the method of optimisationof multimodal transportation chains is more and morebased on the computer programs being representative tools insolving of comprehensive tasks.It is believed that the present research, the methodology appliedand its findings should promote and improve multimodaltransportation chains in order to cope with the complex contemporarylogistic demands of global economy.
The extent to which Slovenia will exploit its good geographictransport position, whether it will be merely a transportcorridor or assume an additional quality (e.g. a distributioncentre or a logistic ...centre) will depend on a cluster of circumstances.The importance will also be laid on how Slovenia willpresent itself and what it will offer to Europe and the rest of theworld. One of its best assets is the Port of Koper (favourable position,good condition, capacities) in the frame of the whole logisticsystem.A larger volume of transport and consequently be/fer exploitationof the Port of Koper will in the future depend on increasedtransit. However, to acquire new cargo, the mere installationand modernisation of port infrastructure and rise in thequality of services may not be sufficient: it will also require goodconnections to the hinterland.
Od 5vih suvremenih tehnologija transporta (paletizacije, kontejnerizacije, RO-RO, LO-LO, FO-FO, HUCKEPACK, BIMODALNA ... ) kontejnerizacija je dostigla najveći stupanj razvoja. U ovom se članku ...interdisciplinamo elaboriraju mogući aspekti globalnog razvoja industrije transportiranja kontejnera do kraja XX stoljeća.
U četiri dijela ovoga rada autori daju pojašnjenje svih relevantnih pojmova, elemenata i karakteristika prometnog sustava. Polaze od razgraničenja pojmova "promet", "prijevoz", "transport", ..."saobraćaj" i "prijenos", kao važnih odrednica znanosti o prometu, a potom daju i definicije istih. U drugom pak dijelu, odnosno poglavju, autori određuju semantički odnos pojmova koji određuju suvremeni promet, kao: kombinirani, integralni, multimodalni i klasični. Na kraju se daje pojašnjenje pojma "multimodalni transport" i njegovih temeljnih obilježja, kao i glavne razlike između toga sustava i sustava "integralnog transporta", koji zapravo određuju promet današnjice i sutrašnjice.
The authors concisely elaborate the factors of influence and traffic-economic connection of goods-transport centres, seaports, container and multimodal terminals, as well as free zones and river ...landingplaces. The purpose of mentioned connection lies in the integrated and multimodal transport development in Croatia at the beginning of 21st century, and in faster essential and for mal connection to Europe. Special accent is given to the goods-transport centres' development in Croatia and their connection with container terminals, with railway and highway traffic, seaports, landing-places etc., and with the purpose of uninterrupted functioning of the transport chains in multimodal goods transport! In that way the Republic of Croatia at the beginning of 21 st century would connect traffical/y and in foreign trade with the integrated Europe in a united modern traffic system.
Osnovni cilj članku je istraživati relevantne faktore multimodalnih transportnih lanaca, njihovih prednosti i slabosti, ali i probleme sinkronizacije rada svih sudionika u multimodalnom transportu. ...Razvoj informacijskih tehnologija i metoda optimalizacije multimodalnih transportnih lanaca sve se više temelji na kompjutorskim programima koji su reprezentativna sredstva u procesu rješavanja složenih transportnih problema.Vjeruje se da će sadašnje istraživanje, aplicirana metodologija i rješenja unaprijediti multimodalne transportne lance poradi zadovoljavanja kompleksnih sadašnjih i budućih logističkih zahtjeva globalne ekonomije.
