The quantum systems of gold nanotubes of chiralities (4, 3) and (5, 3) have been studied in the framework of the Hubbard model for arbitrary values of the Coulomb interaction and electron ...concentration. The anticommutator Green’s functions of nanosystems, the energy spectra, and the ground state, ionization, and electron affinity energies have been calculated. The obtained data have been used for comparative analysis of nanosystems.
We consider modulations of mass captured by the compact object from the companion star's stellar wind in Low Mass X-ray Binaries with late type giants. Based on 3D simulations with two different ...hydrodynamic codes used Lagrangian and Eulerian approaches - the SPH code GADGET and the Eulerian code PLUTO, we conclude that a hydrodynamical interaction of the wind matter within a binary system even without eccentricity results in variability of the mass accretion rate with characteristic time-scales close to the orbital period. Observational appearances of this wind might be similar to that of an accretion disc corona/wind.

An algorithm for constructing the Lennard-Jones potential for the description of interaction of dissimilar iron—metal atom pairs, using the structural and thermodynamic characteristics of iron-based ...solid solutions and earlier constructed pair interaction potentials of identical atoms, is developed. The parameters of the potentials for four pairs of elements, specifically, Fe—Mo, Fe—Cr, Fe—Ni, and Fe—Al, are calculated.
Nowadays, research activities of some countries in northern polar region of the Earth have intensified in the world. Various international scientific Arctic programs have revived, in which Russia, ...the United States and Canada hold key positions. This interest is primarily due to the rich resources of these territories - oil, gas condensate, mineral. Accelerated development of the Arctic, including coast and shelf of Arctic seas, which is a condition for enhancing Russia's economic potential, means intensive territory development with creation of appropriate infrastructure, transport and communications. At the same time, extreme climatic, difficult mining and geological and extremely unfavorable socio-economic conditions must be taken into account.
