Atom interferometers covering macroscopic domains of space-time are a spectacular manifestation of the wave nature of matter. Because of their unique coherence properties, Bose-Einstein condensates ...are ideal sources for an atom interferometer in extended free fall. In this Letter we report on the realization of an asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometer operated with a Bose-Einstein condensate in microgravity. The resulting interference pattern is similar to the one in the far field of a double slit and shows a linear scaling with the time the wave packets expand. We employ delta-kick cooling in order to enhance the signal and extend our atom interferometer. Our experiments demonstrate the high potential of interferometers operated with quantum gases for probing the fundamental concepts of quantum mechanics and general relativity.

= 2). Partial inhibition of fluciclovine uptake by BCH and MeAIB can be demonstrated in vivo similar to previous in vitro modeling.
The aim of this paper is that of revisiting the competing doctrines of federalism in the United States, as they are exemplarily prescriptive about the means and finality of the correspondent process ...of European integration. Considering the three main glosses on the federal idea in the United States as the Anti-federalist idea, the Confederative experiment and the Federalist focus on strong and centralized government, the present paper will substantively argue for the (in)consistencies of these models and acknowledge the limits of American federal experiences in the uncertain context of the European controversies on the topic.
In the second lecture delivered at the University of Chicago in 1949, political philosopher Leo Strauss postulated reductio ad Hitlerum as a variant version of reductio ad absurdum. The inherent ...assumption of the argument is that the use of reductio ad Hitlerum as a justification procedure is a substitute maneuver for not having sound and plausible arguments. Because reductio ad Hitlerum is simply an all-and-nothing signifier, President Putin deceivingly misquotes de-Westernization, de-Ukrainization and Russification as de-Nazification occurrences of his ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine. In fact, what Putin purports to achieve through the de-Nazification of Ukraine as defensive justification turns into outright Nazi behavior-like actions as a mechanism of defensive response. This article is ultimately a reflection on the puzzling meanings of the Russian de-Nazification strategies in Ukraine. Following brief methodological considerations on the above-mentioned stratagem and the explanation of the Russian approach of de-Nazification in Ukraine, three distinct sections - i.e., de-Nazification as de-Westernization, de-Ukrainization, and Russification, respectively - scratch out Putin’s official rationale for the invasion of Ukraine. A coda of this examination is added to explain that ‘Putinism 3.0’ is the subsequent result of the Russian reductio ad Hitlerum propaganda and actions in Ukraine. The final section also argues that Putin’s geopolitical imaginary is the last stage consistent with ‘Putinism 3.0’, and the arbitrary versions of de-Nazification (i.e., de-Westernization, de-Ukrainization and, respectively, Russification) are intermediate stages only.
Abstract
Background
National drug-involved overdose deaths continue to rise with deaths involving synthetic opioids (primarily fentanyl) showing the most significant upward trend. Fentanyl is a ...synthetic opioid with short-acting analgesic activity and a 50–100 times higher potency compared to morphine. Pharmaceutical fentanyl is typically used to treat patients with severe or chronic pain. In contrast, “illegal” fentanyl has frequently been added to other drugs including heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA to increase their potency and contributing to overdose deaths. In this study, we have investigated trends in fentanyl and fentanyl analogs positivity at a large academic medical center.
Methods
Retrospective analysis of results reported over seven years (2015–2021) for untargeted urine drug screens included testing performed for acute exposure and compliance. Presence of fentanyl, fentanyl analogs, and other prescribed or illicit used drugs was determined by gas chromatography—mass spectrometry (GCMS). Overall positivity was calculated as a percentage of total reported results.
Results
Fentanyl, and fentanyl analog positivity was determined for 40 782 urine drug screen results. Overall positivity for fentanyl and fentanyl analogs increased 3.8-fold over the past seven year from 1.53% (2015) to 5.78% (2021). Co-positivity with other illicit drugs such as cocaine and heroin also increased from 7% and 8% respectively, in 2015, to 42% and 13%, in 2021. Presence of fentanyl analogs such as fluorofentanyl, despropionylfentanyl, and acetylfentayl increased in the recent years as well.
Conclusion
Our data reveals increased positivity of fentanyl and fentanyl analogs present with cocaine, heroin, or their metabolites suggesting increased use of illicit fentanyl. The high prevalence supports the inclusion of fentanyl on routine urine drug screen immunoassays, or at a minimum as a reflex with a positive opiate screen.

Results concerning the preparation and magnetic characterization of electrochemically deposited Fe 80 Ga 20 /Co 75 Fe 10 B 15 n multilayered films and nanowire arrays are reported for the first ...time. The deposition bath consisted in a single mixed solution of FeSO 4 middot7H 2 O, Ga 2 (SO 4 ) 3 middotH 2 O, CoSO 4 middot7H 2 O, C 2 H 10 BN, and H 3 BO 3 . The layers have been deposited successively by changing the electrodeposition potential. The composition and thickness of the different layers were tailored through optimizing deposition parameters such as buffer additives and applied voltage. Two hundred sequences multilayered nanowires were electrodeposited into commercially available nanoporous alumina membranes with pore diameters of 100 nm and lengths of 50 mum. Multilayered films 4-5 mu m thick have been obtained by electrodepositing 50 consecutive sequences of FeGa and CoFeB. The multilayered structures consisting FeGa magnetostrictive alloy and CoFeB amorphous magnetic material are magnetically soft (H c does not exceed 1.6 kA/m).
