Solid‐state lithium batteries (SSLBs) with high safety have emerged to meet the increasing energy density demands of electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and portable electronic devices. ...However, the dendrite formation, high interfacial resistance, and deleterious interfacial reactions caused by solid–solid contact between electrode and electrolyte have hindered the commercialization of SSLBs. Thus, in this review, the state‐of‐the‐art developments in the rational design of solid‐state electrolyte and their progression toward practical applications are reviewed. First, the origin of interface instability and the sluggish charge carrier transportation in solid–solid interface are presented. Second, various strategies toward stabilizing interfacial stability (reducing interfacial resistance, suppressing lithium dendrites, and side reactions) are summarized from the physical and chemical perspective, including building protective layer, constructing 3D and gradient structures, etc. Finally, the remaining challenges and future development trends of solid‐state electrolyte are prospected. This review provides a deep insight into solving the interfacial instability issues and promising solutions to enable practical high‐energy‐density lithium metal batteries.
The increasing demand for computational photography and imaging on mobile platforms has led to the widespread development and integration of advanced image sensors with novel algorithms in camera ...systems. However, the scarcity of high-quality data for research and the rare opportunity for in-depth exchange of views from industry and academia constrain the development of mobile intelligent photography and imaging (MIPI). Building on the achievements of the previous MIPI Workshops held at ECCV 2022 and CVPR 2023, we introduce our third MIPI challenge including three tracks focusing on novel image sensors and imaging algorithms. In this paper, we summarize and review the Few-shot RAW Image Denoising track on MIPI 2024. In total, 165 participants were successfully registered, and 7 teams submitted results in the final testing phase. The developed solutions in this challenge achieved state-of-the-art erformance on Few-shot RAW Image Denoising. More details of this challenge and the link to the dataset can be found at https://mipichallenge.org/MIPI2024.
Developing and integrating advanced image sensors with novel algorithms in camera systems are prevalent with the increasing demand for computational photography and imaging on mobile platforms. ...However, the lack of high-quality data for research and the rare opportunity for an in-depth exchange of views from industry and academia constrain the development of mobile intelligent photography and imaging (MIPI). With the success of the 1st MIPI Workshop@ECCV 2022, we introduce the second MIPI challenge, including four tracks focusing on novel image sensors and imaging algorithms. This paper summarizes and reviews the RGBW Joint Fusion and Denoise track on MIPI 2023. In total, 69 participants were successfully registered, and 4 teams submitted results in the final testing phase. The final results are evaluated using objective metrics, including PSNR, SSIM, LPIPS, and KLD. A detailed description of the models developed in this challenge is provided in this paper.
