Starting from the change and development in the understanding of the presbyterate and the episcopate at the Second Vatican Council, the author introduces the liturgical understanding of ministerial ...priesthood based on a comparative analysis of the ceremonial rite for the ordination of priests. The ministry of presbyters and bishops must always be understood from their ministerial, that is, their communal relationship with one another as well as with God’s people. The author develops the given topic in three units: the discovery of the liturgical foundation of ministerial priesthood; the bishop and priest as ecclesial subjects in the light of the ordination of bishops and priests; according to the liturgical theology of communion: some indications for lex vivendi. Through the contextual and comparative analysis of ordination and with a special emphasis on the original euchological context, the author concludes the reflection by reading the distinctiveness of the correlation of priestly and bishop’s ministry, whose identity and communion is given and formed by the worship of the Church.
This essay examines Martin Heidegger's philosophical reading of Raphael's painting Sistine Madonna. Three explanatory lines of Heidegger's thought are discussed: the Sistine Madonna in the historical ...transformation of art, a phenomenological analysis of the image, and finally a reading of the painting in light of the close connection between image and Eucharist. Each of these lines contributes towards a hermeneutical appreciation of the image that foregrounds the profound theological dimension of Heidegger's philosophical approach to Raphael's painting.
Suvremena teološka misao razmatra gotovo sva bitna
pitanja s gledišta ili barem pod utjecajem neke filozofijske perspektive nerijetko
fenomenološkog karaktera. U tom ozračju, pojavu liturgije u ...filozofijskome
obrat' teologije. No posljednjih desetljeća bilježi se također i 'teološki
religioznoga života – Pismo i liturgiju.
U ovom radu
kritički analiziramo jedan takav primjer domišljanja liturgije kao mjesta 'dvostrukog
obrata'. Riječ je o projektu 'fenomenologiji
liturgije' francuskog filozofa i teologa Jean-Yvesa Lacostea. U obradi
fundamentalno-teoloških tema, on se vodi fenomenologijskim pristupom pitajući
se o antropološkoj poziciji i eshatološkom identitetu liturgijskog bivstvovanja
'pred Bogom koji dolazi'. Prvi dio ovoga rada obrađuje teorijska polazišta
Lacosteove 'fenomenologije liturgije', izdvajajući neke bitne odrednice koje
formiraju njegov specifični pristup liturgiji. Fenomenološka ontologija
prostora ('mjesto') i vremena ('interval'), u tome tematskom krugu, imaju ključnu
ulogu. Drugi dio propituje fenomenološki i antropologijski profil Lacosteove
stanja bivanja coram Deo. U tom okviru, kritika čuvstvene svijesti i
Contemporary theological thought considers almost all important issues
from the point of view or at least under the influence of some philosophical
perspective, often of phenomenological character. In this sense, the emergence
of the liturgy in philosophical thought, but also in philosophically oriented
theology, was conditioned by the ‘phenomenological turn’ in theology. But in
recent decades, there has also been a 'theological turn' in phenomenology, which
is increasingly related to the original modalities of religious life -
Scripture and the liturgy. The philosophical-theological encounter in the
sphere of liturgy and Scripture points to a renewed approach to the ‘very
things’ of faith that are once again becoming a source of understanding of
Christian religious life. In this paper, we critically analyse one such example
of conceiving the liturgy as a place of ‘double turn’. It is about a project of
the 'phenomenology of the liturgy' by the French philosopher and theologian
Jean-Yves Lacoste. In treating the fundamental theological topics, he is guided
by a phenomenological approach, asking about the anthropological position and
eschatological identity of liturgical existence 'in the face of the appearing
God'. The first part of this paper deals
with the theoretical starting points of Lacoste's 'phenomenology of liturgy',
distinguishing some important determinants that form his specific approach to
liturgy. The phenomenological ontology of space (‘place’) and time
(‘interval’), in this thematic circle, play a key role. The second part
examines the phenomenological and anthropological profile of Lacoste's
phenomenology of liturgy, which is developing starting from the analytics of
the experiential states of being coram Deo. In this context, the criticism of
emotional consciousness and the kenotic exposure of the subject are imposed as
two pivotal theoretical moments through which Lacoste explains the articulation
of man’s humanity in the fold of ritual worship. Finally, the author of this
article evaluates the entire Lacoste’s theoretical structure in relation to
contemporary philosophical-theological judgment of the liturgy, and critically
examines certain limitations of this phenomenological draft.
The article brings a transdisciplinary approach to church doors as works of art for the liturgy. Doors are first brought into relation according to their universal anthropological-cultural basis, and ...then there is a breakdown of the theological layers of tradition which defined that place – the symbol of the church and thus significantly enriched the Christian culture. In addition, the article deals with specific architectural and artistic processes of symbolization associated with the formation of the sacred threshold, which are broken down in a triple perspective: body, transition, presence. In this regard, the doors articulate a specific symbolic-ritual action and perception that initiates man in the encounter with the sacred. Then, there is an analysis of the doors of the Hvar Cathedral by a contemporary Croatian sculptor Kuzma Kovačić, in which religion and culture, modernity and tradition, sacred and beauty are fruitfully united.

Članak obrađuje suvremeno etičko i kulturološko pitanje kršćanskoga blagdanskog odmora.
The article deals with contemporary ethical and
culturological issue of Christian feast day holiday. The theme is developing on
the basis of a critical insight into some aspects of Christian holidays under
the influence of secular modernity: converting the feast days to holidays and
discharging the feast day existential due to holiday neurosis. The second part
of the article presents the Church teaching about the feast day and feast day
holiday in a specifically Christian confessional and identity form of feast day
celebration and, on the basis of it, explicates the ethical profile of
Christian holiday as a counterweight to the growing secularization of feast
days
