Features of the operation of electrodynamic structures near their critical frequency are considered. A technique is proposed that allows estimation of the parameters of the end cavity resonators ...required for correction of the field distribution of the operation mode in a cutoff magnetron and tuning the magnetron external Q factor.
Shaping of surfaces during finish machining using intermittent abrasive tools requires optimized technological systems design and parametrization. To achieve that, theoretical base including ...equations of motion for discontinuous grinding and calculation of forced vibrations of elastic technological systems is implemented. Approximation of radial component of cutting force provides ability to study the dependence of amplitudes and phases of oscillations of technological system under the action of k-th harmonic of disturbing force. Direct correlation between the surface layer shape errors and the parameters of forced oscillations was observed.
Several models are considered to illustrate feasibility and appropriateness of involving the game theory framework in describing the process and result of informational confrontation in social ...networks.
A synchronization system for the Gamma-4 four-module electrophysical facility has been developed. It has been shown that the synchronization system should provide triggering (with precision not worse ...than ±3 ns) of the high-voltage gas-filled trigatron-type switches of the facility modules (144 spark gaps with an operating voltage of 1 MV), the pre-pulse switches of the modules (24 spark gaps with an operating voltage of 3 MV) and eight Arkad’ev-Marx generators (40 spark gaps with an operating voltage of 100 kV).
Experimental investigations have been carried out to determine structural and phase transformations of a surface layer in SiC ceramics samples irradiated by an intense pulse electron beam of ...submillisecond duration. It was shown that electron beam modification of the surface layer of the SiC ceramics was followed by improvement of mechanical characteristics of the material. The suggestions have been made to explain this effect.
A method of preparing the potential analgesic substance ...4,10-bis((±)-5-benzoyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo-1,2-apyrrole-1-carbonyl)-2,6,8,12-tetraacetyl-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazatetracyclo5,5,0.sup.3,11,0.sup.5,9dodecane is described in detail. Different conditions for preparing the target substance are considered and its full physicochemical properties are presented. Marked analgesic activity of this innovatory compound was found in conditions of thermal nociception in the hotplate test and acute visceral and somatic deep pain in the acetic writhings test.
Is has been shown that irradiation of the sintered ceramics on the basis of boron carbide with an intense pulsed electron beam leads to formation of non-porous polycrystalline structure. The specific ...elements of a sub-grain structure of the irradiated ceramics are micro-twins. It has been determined that the main failure mechanism of the sintered ceramics is an intercrystalline fracture. The irradiation of ceramics has led to mainly transcrystalline fracture.
The results of experiments on studying spallation and the ejection of particles from the surfaces of copper and lead samples are presented. A laser interferometry method is used to detect the ...particle cloud velocity and the multiple spallation parameters. Angular detectors are used to detect the depth profile of the particle cloud velocity dispersion and the structure of metal spallation.
