Modern data analysis methods, such as optimization algorithms or deep learning have been successfully applied to a number of biotechnological and medical questions. For these methods to be efficient, ...a large number of high-quality and reproducible experiments needs to be conducted, requiring a high degree of automation. Here, we present an open-source hardware and low-cost framework that allows for automatic high-throughput generation of large amounts of cell biology data. Our design consists of an epifluorescent microscope with automated XY stage for moving a multiwell plate containing cells and a perfusion manifold allowing programmed application of up to eight different solutions. Our system is very flexible and can be adapted easily for individual experimental needs. To demonstrate the utility of the system, we have used it to perform high-throughput Ca
imaging and large-scale fluorescent labeling experiments.

The article describes the potential for capacity increase of a highway section with use of intelligent transport systems. The implementation results in significant reduction of congestion and ...accident rate decrease on a highway. It is referring to the first linear control project in the Czech Republic implemented on the automobile ring road around Prague.
Logical elements for translation lookaside buffers were designed with single-event compensations and simulated on the bulk 65-nm CMOS design rule. The effects of upsets and single-event transients ...under impacts of single nuclear particles on MOS logical elements were minimized by the hardening the design. The basis of the fault-tolerant design is the hardened main row elements of the common matrix in arrays of Content-Addressable Memory (CAM) cells and RAM cells. The basis of the coincidence logic of CAM is combinational logic elements with the single-event compensation using masking and compensation.
The translation lookaside buffer is designed on the base of STG DICE cells with transistors which are spaced into two groups together with transistors of the output combinational logic. The elements ...contain two spaced identical blocks for the resistance to impacts of single nuclear particles compared to elements on 6-transistors memory cells. Basic elements that were used have no upsets of states during simulations at the linear energy transfer on tracks up to 60 MeV×cm2/mg. In combinational logic of the elements of matching and masking short-term noise pulses can occur.
