Pearson represents these critics' view that Mallarme's poetry is a skilled declaration of language's powerlessness, but he turns Mallarm8's words from their semantic meaning, which represents art as ...a glass exquisitely half empty, to their homophonic meaning, which reveals art as a glass powerfully half full. ...the reader of Unfolding Mallrtrmf asks of Pearson's technique what Pearson asks of Mallarme's philosophy of art: Pearson does not always quote the original text he is considering; these technical inaccuracies do not inspire the reader to take his sightings of homophony on faith.
In the uncertainty of the global economic crisis, cost cutting and collaborative R&D are means to safely navigate the current financial storm. The semiconductor industry is notorious for its cycles, ...but this one is different. Of course, one difference is the concurrent meltdown in world financial markets and the consequent reduction in consumer confidence and spending. Some recent forecasts predict that capital expenditures will not return to 2007 levels for at least five years. Consolidation will likely accelerate as weaker companies become acquisition targets or simply cease to exist. In uncertain times, customers will judge more critically a potential supplier's likelihood of survival and record of careful financial management. Well-managed growth and successful acquisitions will become a valuable competitive advantage.
