Cargo aerial ropeways are an efficient mode of transport in mining industry. The purpose of the paper is to develop a method for modeling kinematic and hydrodynamic processes in the mechanisms of ...movement of carrying-pulling ropes equipped with hydraulic drives with frequency-throttle control at all stages of work such as acceleration of the transported load, steady motion and braking. The options of sequential installation (one-way and two-way) of adjustable throttles relative to the hydraulic motor are considered. The developed mathematical model provides computer modeling in time of the main characteristics of the hydraulic drive - the pressures and volumetric flow rates of the fluid at the characteristic points of the hydraulic system, as well as the kinematic and power parameters of the movement of carrying-pulling ropes (traveled distance, linear velocity and acceleration, required power, surmounted operating loads). For a specific option of mobile rope complex, the calculations of the indicated hydrodynamic, kinematic and force parameters are carried out and the obtained results are analyzed.
Freight aerial cable roads are an efficient mode of transport in mining industry. The purpose of the paper is to develop the method of optimal design of a mono-cable freight ropeway thus reducing the ...cost of its construction. It is shown that the pitch and height of intermediate supports, the tension force of load-carrying-traction ropes exerts the main influence on the cableway cost. The problem of conditional nonlinear optimization of the mentioned factors ensuring the minimum cost of a cableway at different design capacity up to 600 t/h is formulated and solved. The optimization task is solved taking into account the necessary design, assembly, deformation and strength limitations. Regularities of change of optimal parameters of intermediate supports and load-carrying and traction ropes at the change of design capacity of a cableway were revealed on the basis of analysis of performed calculations. The results of this optimization task allows significantly reducing the cost of construction of freight aerial cableways.
The paper presents the modeling technique of working processes of loader cranes installed on mobile machines using the developed universal mathematical model that considers complex interaction ...between the elements of a dynamic system 'Working Body - Loader Crane - Basic Machine - Base Surface and Substructure - Control System - Environment'. The model considers the developed feedbacks between subsystems. The paper proposes the technique of imitating modeling of a loader crane loading during the entire operation period using the Monte-Carlo method and the universal mathematical model. The application of the developed approaches is shown on the example of a task concerning the general buckling of a mobile machine ACT-4-A equipped with a loader crane in the conditions of ground subsidence under a caterpillar.
The article deals with the issues of increasing the reliability of hinge lugs in manipulators of mobile transportation and production machines (loader cranes). At present, the actual operating life ...of hinges in heavily loaded cranes amounts to not more than 3000 operating hours, with the estimated value being 6000...8000 operating hours. The paper provides technical solutions of how to increase the operating life of hinge lugs. The first way consists in providing crack resistance in bimetallic compositions with specified crack resistance which allows increasing the operating life of hinge lugs by up to 50%. The second way involves equipping hinge joints with damper devices having elastic and dissipative elements. The damper devices allow reducing or completely eliminating the impact loads which occur due to the presence of a backlash in a worn-out hinge. The rational values of damper device elasticity and viscosity coefficients, which allow attaining the maximal reduction of impact loads, were determined. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed technical solutions, a mathematical modeling approach to the dynamic processes in loader cranes was employed
