Using an e thorn e- collision data sample with a total integrated luminosity of 3.19 fb-1 collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 4.178 GeV, the branching fraction of the ...inclusive decay of the D thorn s meson to final states including at least three charged pions is measured for the first time to be BoD thorn s & RARR; & pi; thorn & pi; thorn & pi;-X thorn 1/4 o32.81 â 0.35stat â 0.63syst thorn %. In this measurement the charged pions from K0S meson decays are excluded. The partial branching fractions of D thorn s & RARR;& pi; thorn & pi; thorn & pi;-X are also measured as a function of the & pi; thorn & pi; thorn & pi;- invariant mass.
We present the first amplitude analysis of the decay Ds+ → π+π0η . We use an e+e– collision data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.19 fb–1 collected with the BESIII detector at a ...center-of-mass energy of 4.178 GeV. We observe for the first time the W -annihilation dominant decays Ds+ → a0 ( 980 ) +π0 and Ds+ → a0 ( 980 ) 0π+ . In addition, we measure the branching fraction of Ds+ → π+π0η with significantly improved precision.
Bobbin tool friction stir welding (BT-FSW) is a promising solid-state welding process for fabricating closed or hollow profiles due to its self-supporting nature, which is achieved using a combined ...tool consisting of two shoulders and a penetrating pin, releasing the backing plate. The joint reliability is mainly affected by its macro-/micro-features including geometric defects and non-uniform grains. However, the underlying thermo-physical process has not been fully understood to clarify how the defects form and grains evolve during welding and how to control them. In this paper, a 3D thermo-mechanically coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian model was developed to analyze the material flow behavior and help understand the defect forming mechanism and recrystallization behavior during BT-FSW of aluminum alloy, wherein tracing particles were specially embedded. The calculated results revealed a complex material migration in the domain driven by the rotating tool. The flow behavior in horizontal/vertical directions at local regions was asynchronous, and eventually converged on the advancing side (AS) to normally form a sound joint, where the combined effects of shearing and squeezing of the material flow throughout thickness affected the morphology of S-line defect. In addition, the non-uniform thermo-mechanical cycling caused an abrupt change in grain structure near the TMAZ/SZ-AS transition region due to the combined continuous and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization, and geometrical effect of strain. The final joint failure was the result of competition between the two softening regions, S-line defect and TMAZ/SZ-AS. These can be applied for further fundamental investigation of parameter optimization or welding structure design, and promote the exploration of post-processing methods to improve the joint performance.

•Grain refinement was dominant by CDRX, together with geometrized requirement of strain and discontinuous recrystallization.•The flow behavior was non-simultaneous throughout the joint, with preferential movement near shoulders.•The convergence of multiple material flow strands seriously affected the macrostructural features and crystal orientation.•The incompatibility of plastic deformation exacerbated local stress concentration to boost fracture initiation.
Pembrolizumab (an immune checkpoint inhibitor)-related gastritis and gastric ulcers are rare immune-related adverse events, which are insufficiently treated with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) therapy ...alone, and usually require systemic steroid therapy and even other biological agents (such as infliximab) in severe cases. Here, we report a case of 49-years-old woman suffering from gastritis and gastric ulcers after pembrolizumab treatment, which was refractory to 2 months of PPI therapy. The diagnosis was made by the clinical and histopathologic presentations. She had immediate resolution of abdominal symptoms after initiation of steroid treatment, but the gastritis and gastric ulcers improved slowly and lasted for months as shown in endoscopy. She was finally treated with extended steroid therapy without serious complications. We discuss the latest treatment options and our management strategies of the case.

We present a measurement of the dressed cross sections for e+e- -> phi eta at different center-of-mass energies between 3.508 and 4.600 GeV based on 15.1 fb-1 of e+e- annihilation data collected ...with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider. In addition, a search for the decay Y(4230) -> phi eta is performed. No clear signal is observed and the corresponding upper limit is provided.
By analyzing 2.93 fb-1 of e+e- collision data taken at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, the branching fractions of the inclusive decays D+ & RARR; K0SX and D0 ...& RARR; K0SX are measured to be (33.11 & PLUSMN; 0.13 & PLUSMN; 0.36)% and (20.75 & PLUSMN; 0.12 & PLUSMN; 0.20)%, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. These results are consistent with the world averages of previous measurements, but with much improved precision.
The Cabibbo-allowed weak radiative decay A+c -> E+gamma has been searched for in a sample of A+c over bar A- c pairs produced in e+e- annihilations, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of ...4.5 fb-1 collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.60 and 4.70 GeV. No excess of signal above background is observed, and we set an upper limit on the branching fraction of this decay to be B(A+c -> E+gamma) < 4.4 x 10-4 at a confidence level of 90%, which is in agreement with Standard Model expectations.
