The warfare command decision support system is more and more important in war. Firstly, this paper discusses the weakness of existed DSS (decision support system). Secondly, the architecture of ...Web-oriented warfare command DSS based on agent and data warehouse (WOWC-DSS) is proposed. Thirdly, agent and data warehouse involved in such a system is discussed in detail. Fourthly, the interface agent based on MVC is introduced. Furthermore, this paper extends Struts framework by establishing a new description file of Struts framework to implement the interface agent, which makes the client Web browse interface more friendly and easy to configure. Finally, B/S three-tire architecture based on J2EE is constructed, which improves the ability to cooperate with others
In the mid-eastern China, there are few or no lakes which are in the absence of anthropogenic disturbances, or their sediments remain undisturbed. As a result, the reference lakes distribution and ...paleolimnological reconstruction approaches usually are inappropriate to estimate lake reference conditions for nutrients. This yields the necessity of using the extrapolation methods to estimate the lake reference conditions for nutrients within those regions. The lake reference conditions for nutrients could be inferred inversely from the law of mass conservation, current lake nutrient concentration, and the loadings from watershed. Considering the scarcity of hydrological and water quality data associated with lakes and watersheds in China, as well as the low requirement of the watershed nutrient loadings models for these data, the soil conservation service (SCS) distributed hydrological model and the universal soil loss equation (USLE) were applied. The SCS model simulates the runoff process of the watershed, thereby calculating dissolved nutrients annually. The USLE estimates the soil erosion and particulate nutrients annually in a watershed. Then, with the loadings from atmospheric deposition and point source, the previous annual average nutrient concentrations could be acquired given the current nutrient concentrations in a lake. Therefore, the nutrient reference conditions minimally impacted by human activities could be estimated. Based on the proposed model, the reference conditions for total nitrogen and total phosphorus of Chaohu Lake, Anhui Province, China are 0.031 mg/L and 0.640 mg/L, respectively. The proposed reference conditions estimation model is of clear physical concept, and less data required. Thus, the proposed approach can be used in other lakes with similar circumstances.
With the rapid development of Chinese economy and automotive industry, urban traffic congestion has become increasingly serious. Therefore, how to effectively alleviate the traffic congestion and ...improve the efficiency of vehicles has become the main concern. Traffic signal control is one of the effective ways to solve urban traffic congestion. In this paper, a traffic signal control method based on Action-Dependent Heuristic Dynamic Programming (ADHDP) is investigated. The control algorithm is simulated on two intersections, both of which have two phases with four entrance approaches. The computer simulation results show that the control method has the better ability of on-line learning compared with traditional Fix-Time Control, and can effectively improve the average speed of vehicles, and reduce travel time and alleviate the traffic pressure.
The plasmon resonance absorption of the Ag/SiO
2 nanocomposite film is investigated. The measured absorption spectra are compared with those calculated by the Mie theory. The results indicate that ...the Mie theory on the basis of classical electrodynamics can only partially explain the optical absorption spectra of the Ag/SiO
2 nanocomposite film. We believe that the plasmon resonance absorption is mainly an intrinsic quality of the metal particle, and can be explained only with the electronic structure of the metal particle. In the latter, surface resonance state is introduced to systematically discuss the optical absorption spectra of the Ag/SiO
2 nanocomposite film.
Robust text reading from street view images provides valuable information for various applications. Performance improvement of existing methods in such a challenging scenario heavily relies on the ...amount of fully annotated training data, which is costly and in-efficient to obtain. To scale up the amount of training data while keeping the labeling procedure cost-effective, this competition introduces a new challenge on Large-scale Street View Text with Partial Labeling (LSVT), providing 50, 000 and 400, 000 images in full and weak annotations, respectively. This competition aims to explore the abilities of state-of-the-art methods to detect and recognize text instances from large-scale street view images, closing the gap between research benchmarks and real applications. During the competition period, a total of 41 teams participated in the two proposed tasks with 132 valid submissions, i.e., text detection and end-to-end text spotting. This paper includes dataset descriptions, task definitions, evaluation protocols and results summaries of the ICDAR 2019-LSVT challenge.
This paper reports the ICDAR2019 Robust Reading Challenge on Arbitrary-Shaped Text (RRC-ArT) that consists of three major challenges: i) scene text detection, ii) scene text recognition, and iii) ...scene text spotting. A total of 78 submissions from 46 unique teams/individuals were received for this competition. The top performing score of each challenge is as follows: i) T1 - 82.65%, ii) T2.1 - 74.3%, iii) T2.2 - 85.32%, iv) T3.1 - 53.86%, and v) T3.2 - 54.91%. Apart from the results, this paper also details the ArT dataset, tasks description, evaluation metrics and participants methods. Part perfusion hyperthermia is an effective approach to tumor curing through which the tumor cells are killed by the high temperature, which is created by medicament perfuse to the pathological ...change area. Since the human body is a complicated system of heat exchange. It is difficult to obtain its accurate mathematic model and accurately measure the temperature of cancer tissue applying the conventional method. The paper proposed a novel intelligent modeling and measuring scheme based on RBF neural network, which can conduct the accurate measurement of the temperature of cancer tissue. The neural network model is designed and the training algorithm with high-precision of learning is formulated based on neural networks techniques. Compared with the conventional scheme, the proposed intelligent scheme has the following advantage: good robustness and adaptive ability for different cancer tissues, simple implementation and high-precision. A lot of numerical simulations have been conducted, and simulation results have shown that the method is feasible and efficient.
Thermosensitive drug delivery systems (DDSs) face major challenges, such as remote and repeatable control of in vivo temperature, although these can increase the therapeutic efficacy of drugs. To ...address this issue, we coated near- infrared (NIR) photothermal Cu175S nanocrystals with pH/thermos-sensitive polymer by in situ polymerization. The doxorubicine (DOX) loading content was up to 40 wt.%, with less than 8.2 wt.% of DOX being leaked under normal physiological conditions (pH = 7.4, 37 ~C) for almost 48 h in the absence of NIR light. These nanocapsules demonstrate excellent photothermal stability by continuous long- term NIR irradiation. Based on the stable and high photothermal efficiency (55.8%), pre-loaded drugs were released as desired using 808-nm light as a trigger. Both in vitro and in vivo antitumor therapy results demonstrated that this smart nanoplatform is an effective agent for synergistic hyperthermia-based chemotherapy of cancer, demonstratin~ remote and noninvasive control.
