Small businesses are traditionally the driver of the economic growth in the conditions of market economy, so in the modern circumstances this thesis is seen as an axiom not requiring additional ...argumentation. Moreover, the role of small and middle-sized businesses in the acceleration in the rates of economic grows currently increases. The economic recession triggered by the sanctions as well as by the international collapse in oil prices, to an even greater degree actualized the task of searching the ways and methods of the Russian economy potential activation including more active and rational use of the most important nonmaterial resource of market economy that is business initiative.
The concept of radar using a knife-like antenna beam is discussed and compared with precipitation radar (PR). An example of PR data processing is given. Two approaches are used to retrieve variance ...of slope: point-to-point algorithms and a linear angular algorithm. The algorithm for the PR data transformation into data of radar with a knife-like antenna beam has been developed. Transformation of real satellite data into data of radar with a knife-like antenna beam enables one for the first time to simulate measurements of future space radar qualitatively. Transformed data are used to validate the retrieval algorithms developed for radar with a knife-like antenna beam. Numerical simulation is also used to test the retrieval algorithms. The noise effect on the precision of slope variance retrieval for the PR and radar with a knife-like antenna beam is considered. Data processing confirms that the precision of radar with a knife-like antenna beam is significantly higher than the precision of PR. Numerical simulation is also used to explore the possibility of sea-surface slope imaging. The obtained results confirm that only radar with a knife-like antenna beam can be employed to retrieve real images of the processes occurring on sea-surface slopes.
The ease of embrittlement characterizes the resistance of a metal to transition from the plastic to the brittle state. The physical significance of the mechanical stability is analyzed in conditions ...of stress concentration. A method is developed for predicting the ease of embrittlement

This work is devoted to the description of a new approach to measuring the parameters of sea waves using a pulsed sonar. Instead of analyzing the implementation of time to the biggest reflection, it ...is proposed to analyze the shape of the pulse reflected by the water surface. This approach is standard in space radar altimeters, where the significant wave height is determined by the shape of the leading edge of the reflected electromagnetic pulse. However, in hydroacoustics, this approach is proposed for the first time. The expressions obtained in previous works for calculating the shape of the reflected pulse are checked using numerical simulation of the experiment, as well as using a long-term experiment in the Black Sea using the "Kalmar" sonar. In this paper, a method is proposed for retrieving the significant wave height by the shape of the leading edge of a reflected pulse and the slope variance of the waves by the trailing edge of the reflected pulse. It should be noted that this slope variance of the waves is the same, which affects the scattering of electromagnetic signals in active radar when using the same radiation wavelength. This fact opens up new possibilities for using the proposed approach for sub-satellite measurements. The features of the formation and accumulation of the reflected pulse are considered based on formulas, numerical simulation, and experiment. The results of the new algorithm for retrieving the significant wave height and slope variance using experimental data are presented. The operation of the new algorithm is compared with the traditional estimate of the wave height by recording the implementation of time to the biggest reflection.
The results of studying the possibility of using a position-sensitive detector with a 100 × 100 mm

B active layer to record thermal and fast neutrons are presented. The operation of the detector ...is explored using a tungsten-beryllium photoneutron source at the Institute for Nuclear Research, Russian Academy of Sciences. The low efficiency of the detector enables it to be used at high neutron fluxes. Measurements are carried out with different ratios of thermal and fast neutrons at the source output. The possibility of separating events from thermal and fast neutrons is shown.

The NICA accelerator complex intended for studying baryonic matter and research in spin physics is currently at the stage of construction and mounting at the JINR. The NICA injection complex was ...designed to produce heavy ions with an energy of 1–3.9 GeV/u. The injection complex consists of two new accelerators: Heavy Ion Linear Accelerator, HILAC, and the superconducting synchrotron, Booster, and the modernized superconducting synchrotron, Nuclotron. The injection facility provides heavy ion beams for the NICA collider and the fix target experiments. The results of the fourth Booster-Nuclotron beam run for fix target experiments on the BM@N setup are discussed. The completion of the facility equipment construction and mounting are also presented along with the plans of first collider runs.
In this paper the development principles for calculation and construction of the antenna for «smooth» transmission and reception of multichannel ultra-wideband signals with a given spiral phase front ...applied in Radio-over-fiber system for the seamless data transmission are discussed. The detail description of the current state of research in this field is presented and deeply analyzed, so finally the new unique solutions are proposed and described in detail.Since the transceiver antenna has a significant effect on the signal shape working as a spatio-temporal filter, then the phase of the emitted wave (spin-orbital state) depends only on the antenna geometry. So the inverse problem of the antenna theory should be solved, when the antenna array configuration is synthesized on the basis of the given aperture. The antenna is considered as distributed in-space volume antenna arraybased on tripoles, providing the reception of a «tangled» signal with wave division and spin-orbital state multiplexing. The antenna is calculated using a mathematical and computer modelling and characterized with stable characteristics in the ultra-wide frequency band.
