For the evaluation of main effects (hybrid, location) and interaction (hybrid x location) for oil yield in sunflower, the results of small-plot trials were used. The small-plot trials were carried ...out on 14 locations with 9 hybrids during 2011. AMMI (Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interaction) model was performed, which evaluates main effects and also interaction. Interaction was detected by using AMMI biplot. In 2011, average oil yield, including 9 hybrids and 14 locations in Serbia, was 1.63 t/ha. Baća achieved highest oil yield (2.40 t/ha) on Rimski Šančevi location. Hybrids Novosađanin and Velja gave oil yield over average. Significantly highest average oil yield showed hybrids on location Rimski Šančevi (2.03 t/ha) and Sombor (1.96 t/ha). Oil yield was predominantly influenced by locations (69.00%) and after that by the hybrids (4.13%). Also, interaction hybrid x location was highly significant. AMMI ANOVA showed highly significant differences for both principal components (IPC1 and IPC2). The smallest effect of the interaction, with the oil yield at the average rate is manifested in the hybrids Sremac and Duško. Hybrid Baća, with significantly highest mean value of yield, showed satisfactory stability in examined locations. Vrbas and Aleksa Šantić pointed out as locations with most stable hybrids, with oil yield over average in 2011. Graphical presentation of AMMI in the form of biplot could facilitate the choice of stable hybrids for desired characters in sunflower.

Pešter peat belongs to the type of acid peats. Its pH value in n KCl is between 4.6 and 4.9. As such, it cannot be directly applied in the production of the compost for agaricus mushrooms, because ...these mushrooms require the alkaline pH value, i.e. pH value in n KCl greater than 7.3. To satisfy this condition, the peat was calcified, and the experiment was established in the mushroom growing plant, owned by Milan Božić, at Leštane. Peat calcification was performed with fine-ground CaCO3, chalk, hydrated lime, and zeolite in various ratios. The experiment was established in ten variants. The best results were obtained by the variants in which calcification was performed with 4% hydrated lime, and by variant with 2% hydrated lime + 2% chalk + 2% zeolite.

Pešter peat is in the Pešter field, that there the height of about 1,100 m (a.s.l.). It extends over 200 ha, between the villages Bračak and Karajukića prison, mostly on the move Sevari, and belongs ...to the municipalities of Sjenica and Tutin. The aforementioned peat conducted a total of 237 wells to determine the total depth of peat and powerful layers of mineralized and non-mineralized peat. Based on the results obtained and respecting a valid environmental principles, examined territory moorland we divided into 5 exploitation fields (A, B, C, D and E). Field A and B have the overall average powerful peat below 150 cm, the field C above 230 cm, the field D over 270 cm, while the field E 390 cm. All researches conducted by the applicable national regulations and the whole peat, and all wells were recorded geodesic in X, Y and Z axis.
Organization of management of the wounded and sick has been presented at the joint training of the military medical and public health services under conditions of defense of big cities in daily ...light, in winter, under unfavourable meteorological conditions. The aim of the training was to check organization and preparedness of all structures of General National Defense in removing consequences after the nuclear plant accident during combat for defense of a big city. General conditions of training, casualty assessment, distribution of casualties according to the spatial distribution of radiation and radioactive contamination are given. Health institutions, military medical units and institutions, and other participants in health protection as well as their tasks are reported. Protective measures which should be applied at the level of "N" nuclear plant and organization in the defense of a big city are recommended.

This study, and similar studies performed on other vegetable test crops, is aimed at the production of high quality substrate for vegetable production. The base for the preparation of these ...substrates is Pešter peat, which is, by rank of its physical-chemical qualities, classified in the highest quality group in the world. In addition to peat, for the experimental production of substrates, altogether forty-five, we applied sheep manure, CaCO3, zeolite, and a complex mineral fertilizer 15:15:15, in various combinations and quantities. To be able to determine whether the degree of peat mineralisation affects the quality of pepper seedling production, we produced the substrates in which the peat component is composed only of mineralised peat, semi-mineralised and non-mineralised. Based on the test results, it was conducted that the substrate quality was not affected by the ratio of the mineral and organic peat in it, but the quantity of the added sheep manure and mineral fertilizer. The effect of added quantities of ground limestone and zeolite did not affect the habit of pepper seedlings, which does not mean that the higher quantities of these materials would not have a positive effect. We shall test it in our future experiment.
The serum level of tumor marker CA-125 was determined by a specific immunoradiometric assay in 45 healthy persons (control group), in patients with benign ovarian tumors (13), patients with ovarian ...carcinoma in remission (15) and progression (28), patients with non-ovarian carcinoma (39), patients with benign peritoneal processes (6), and patients with malignant (3) or inflammatory (10) hepatic diseases. A follow-up study was carried out for a few months (4-11) in some patients after the primary therapy for ovarian cancer. The serum levels of CA-125 were always below the border value (30 U/ml) in healthy persons, in patients with benign ovarian tumors (without peritoneal affection), in patients with ovarian cancer in remission, patients with extraovarian cancers without metastases or with extraperitoneal metastases, and in patients with acute viral hepatitis. Patients with the progression of ovarian carcinoma and patients with peritoneal affection (malignant or benign) had elevated CA-125 values. The findings were in a good correlation with the clinical course in the follow-up study.
