We report on the design, manufacture, and testing of an ultra-compact telescope for 16 unit (16U) CubeSats for Earth and space observation. This telescope provides 1 arcsec resolution at a 2.9 degree ...field of view. Dimensions are optimized to 230 × 230 × 330mm
with a mass of less than 6kg including support structure. Our catadioptric 5-element design consists of a full-aperture corrector, a Mangin primary mirror (PM), a secondary mirror (SM), and a 2-lens field corrector. The focal length is 745mm, and squared-circular aperture has an equivalent diameter of 241mm. The designed modulation transfer function (MTF) is 0.275 for the entire unit including baffles at a Nyquist frequency of 161 cycles/mm for the 450-800nm band. As one of the distinguishing features of our state-of-the-art design, all optical surfaces are spherical to simplify adjustment. For the best thermal stability, all optical elements are produced from fused silica. We describe the details of design, adjustment, and laboratory performance tests for space environments in accordance with the requirements for in-orbit operation onboard Earth-observation micro-satellites to be launched in 2018.
The article describes a simulation model that describes the fluctuations of the system. It is possible to track changes of fluctuations in stocks levels, as well as in production. Fluctuations occur ...when the behavior of the model deviates above or below the equilibrium point. If the oscillations damp, they will become less and less and eventually disappear in the absence of an external force that stimulates them. This model was built with the help of the program Powersim Studio 7 Express. The input interface of the model is shown. It includes such data as "Equipment correction time", "Changing timeout", "Inventory", "Equipment" and "Expected demand". This model contains three constants, two auxiliary variables, two drives and three streams. An experiment was conducted on the input data. As a result of the experiment an output interface was created and it includes such graphs as "Behavior "Expected Demand", "Order Level" and "Production" during the simulation" and "Comparison of "Equipment" and "Required Equipment" during the simulation". According to these graphs, it is possible to track the actual and necessary equipment used in production, as well as understand how much needs to be produced to cover the discrepancies between stocks and desired stocks, as well as expected consumer demand.
Effective reengineering of the main activity of the enterprise requires a systematic approach, covering all stages from project preparation to its implementation. The article shows the algorithm for ...reengineering the production processes of the enterprise and its implementation on the example of one of the leading manufacturing enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Russia. The algorithm includes the construction of structural-functional models using the AllFusion Process Modeler (BPWin) software environment common in Russia and simulation based on the Arena product. A user can develop a technological process or process flow diagrams, as is usually done when describing "as-is" business processes or when designing a "to-be" business process, and then export them to Arena applying these tools together. Reengineering of the main processes according to the proposed stages of the methodology helps to evaluate their effectiveness before making direct changes.
Investments in real estate are considered by investors as the best way to preserve and increase capital in the long term. Investing in real estate allows the investor to dispose independently of the ...acquired property at his discretion, including giving and inheriting, and using it for investment purposes - to lease or resell for profit. It is proposed to analyze the algorithm of actions to facilitate the decision-making on the investment purchase of residential real estate and to work out some "unchanged" points of the algorithm that can help in making this decision. Based on this, the stages that are included in this algorithm are analyzed, as well as three types of strategies for investing in residential real estate. A program is considered that allows calculating the profitability of investing in an object for an investor for each type of strategy, using certain factors associated with the property.
The performance of modern density functional theory methods in predicting the geometry of a structurally complex titanocene bearing carboranyl σ-ligands is assessed. For comparison,
ab initio
...Hartree—Fock calculations were carried out. The majority of the computational methods considered were shown to reproduce the experimentally obtained crystal structure of the compound with good accuracy. The electric dipole moment of the metal complex in the ground electronic state, as well as the composition and energies of its frontier molecular orbitals were evaluated.
The article considers the problem of mathematical modeling of the electron beam welding process at the stages of input and output of an electron beam. A conceptual model is proposed, developed using ...the mathematical apparatus of the thermal process theory. The models allow the calculation of the individual stages of the process that affect the formation of a welded joint in the vicinity of the "zero point". The proposed models will be used in the future and will be subjected to verification processes by comparison with the results of field experiments.
The article presents mathematical heating model the flange is in process induction soldering of waveguides paths. In the quality of object of research stands out creation process all-in-one ...connections based on induction heating, or more precisely, patterns distributions energy over time by default flange size waveguide the route. Goal creating a model consists of in the upgrade process quality of management technological equipment process production facilities antenna-feeder devices based on the induction soldering technology. Developed by models can be used for adaptive management technological equipment process induction system soldering when production waveguide paths assemblies.
The article discusses the problem of control automation for wells equipped with sucker rod pumps. The main goals of such automation are presented, the achievement of which allows increasing well ...productivity, as well as improving working conditions of staff. As a result of the study, the analysis of the features of wells automation equipped with sucker rod pumps was carried out. The principles of automation of such an object were considered and a control system diagram was presented. The presented functional diagram of the SCADA system involves the use of a number of sensors to measure the current parameters of the well. Using the expert assessment method, a reasonable choice of specific measuring devices was made. Reviewed measuring devices are modern equipment of Russian and foreign production, which has a good service life and the necessary measurement accuracy.
