Healthy behaviors in pregnant women have a major effect on pregnancy outcomes; however, only few studies have explored the relationship of multiple psychosocial factors with healthy lifestyles during ...pregnancy. The objective of this study was to investigate whether the five psychosocial factors of anxiety, stress, depression, marital dissatisfaction, and social support are associated with six domains of healthy lifestyles in pregnant women, including nutrition, physical activity, health responsibility, stress management, interpersonal relationships, and self-actualization. In this cross-sectional study, 445 pregnant women from the obstetrics clinics of the teaching hospitals of Babol University of Medical Sciences were included. The subjects answered six questionnaires, including the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile, Beck Depression Inventory, Prenatal Distress Questionnaire, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Social Support Questionnaire, and Marital Satisfaction Scale. We developed a series of simple linear regression models based on each subscale of lifestyle (nutrition, physical activity, health responsibility, stress management, interpersonal relationships, and self-actualization) as the dependent variables and the five psychological variables (anxiety, stress, depression, marital dissatisfaction, and social support) as the independent variables. State and trait anxieties were the strongest negative predictors of all aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, depression was negatively associated with all of the six subscales of a healthy lifestyle. Pregnancy-specific stress was the only negative predictor of stress management and self-actualization. Marital dissatisfaction was negatively associated with nutrition, stress management, health responsibility, and self-actualization. Social support had negative and positive associations with healthy behaviors. The study suggests that more attention should be paid to identifying the psychological risk factors in pregnancy in addition to providing suitable interventions for improving the lifestyle of pregnant women.
Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy has established itself as a potent therapeutic option for certain patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) hematologic malignancies. To date, four ...CD19-redirected CAR-T cell products have been granted the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for medical use. However, all of these products are equipped with a single-chain fragment variable (scFv) as their targeting domains. Camelid single-domain antibodies (VHH or nanobody) can also be used as alternatives to scFvs. In this study, we developed VHH-based CD19-redirected CAR-Ts, and compared them with their FMC63 scFv-based counterpart.
Human primary T cells were transduced to express a second-generation 4-1BB-CD3ζ-based CAR construct whose targeting domain was based on a CD19-specific VHH. The expansion rate, cytotoxicity, and secretion of proinflammatory cytokines (IFN-γ, IL-2, and TNF-α) of the developed CAR-Ts were assessed and compared with their FMC63 scFv-based counterpart as they were co-cultured with CD19-positive (Raji and Ramos) and CD19-negative (K562) cell lines.
VHH-CAR-Ts showed an expansion rate comparable to that of the scFv-CAR-Ts. In terms of cytotoxicity, VHH-CAR-Ts mediated cytolytic reactions against CD19-positive cell lines, comparable to those of their scFv-based counterparts. Moreover, both VHH-CAR-Ts and scFv-CAR-Ts secreted remarkably higher and similar levels of IFN-γ, IL-2, and TNF-α upon co-cultivation with Ramos and Raji cell lines compared with while cultured alone or co-cultured with K562 cells.
Our results demonstrated that our VHH-CAR-Ts could mediate CD19-dependent tumoricidal reactions as potently as their scFv-based counterparts. Moreover, VHHs could be applied as the targeting domains of CAR constructs to overcome the issues associated with the use of scFvs in CAR-T therapies.

. The proliferation rate of activated T cells transduced using polybrene concentrations > 6 mg/mL decreased compared with untreated group. There was a direct relationship between polybrene concentration and transduction efficacy. Moreover, we demonstrated the proliferation of retronectin-transduced T cells increased in a dose-dependent manner (4–20 μg/mL). Whereas, different retronectin concentrations did not mediate a significant increase in T cell transduction rate. Moreover, lentiviral transduction rate was also dependent on the concentration of lentiviruses. At optimized TE concentrations, multiplicity of infection (MOI) of > 10 decreased living T cell transduction rate. Additionally, we demonstrated that CAR T cell phenotype is highly affected by TE type. Naïve T cell differentiation to central memory T cell was observed in the beginning of the expansion process and effector memory T cells became the predominant subset in the second week of expansion. Importantly, retronectin increased the proliferation of CAR T cells alongside medicating higher transduction rates, resulting in more naïve and central memory T cells. We demonstrated that a higher percentage of CAR T cells were generated using retronectin (with a less differentiated phenotype) making retronectin a more effective TE than polybrene for long-term CAR T cell processing in preclinical or clinical studies.
Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a common public health issue affecting many women of reproductive age worldwide. This study has been designed to investigate of computer-based stress inoculation ...training (SIT) counseling approach on anxiety, depression, and stress of university students with PMS.
A randomized trial study with two parallel arms was done from 30 October 2022 to 21 June 2023 on 100 university students aged 18 to 38 at Babol University of Medical Sciences. The participants were randomly divided into two groups intervention and control. The data collection tools included questionnaires on demographic-fertility characteristics, the Premenstrual Symptoms Screening Tool (PSST), the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-14), the Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS) and Riff's Psychological Well-being Scale (RPWS). The data were assessed using chi-square, t-student, ANOVA repeated measure, and linear regression tests. A significance level of P < 0.05 was considered for the analysis.
The results of the study showed that the SIT interventions decreased the PMS severity and most psychological factors so in the intervention group, SIT was able to significantly reduce anxiety, depression, perceived stress, and Sheehan's disability after intervention (P < 0.001). Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the most predictors of HADS were the PSS and SDS (β = 0.285, p = 0.009 and β = 0.236, p = 0.024, respectively).
The computer-based SIT counseling approach could reduce the severity of symptoms and psychological factors in students. Therefore, SIT intervention is recommended to manage their PMS.

Therefore, the present study aimed to ...determine the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction counseling on the worries of women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
This quasi-experimental was implemented on 60 women with polycystic ovary syndrome, referring to health centers in Kerman, Iran, from April to September 2021. In the intervention group, MBSR was conducted in eight 90-minute sessions twice a week. A researcher-made questionnaire with 34 questions (with six domains including worries related to mental complications, interpersonal problems, non-pregnancy physical complications, pregnancy complications, sexual complications, and religious issues) on the worries of women with polycystic ovary syndrome was completed by the participants in two intervention and control groups as pre-and post-test and one month later. 22 SPSS statistical software was used for analysis.
The mean score of worries in the intervention group (48.18 ± 5.18) compared to the control group (75.73 ± 8.08) was significantly reduced in total and all six domains immediately after the intervention (P < 0.0001). One month later also, the total mean score of worries and subtitles decreased significantly (P < 0.0001) in the intervention group (38.27 ± 3.58) in comparison with the control group (76.13 ± 7.52).
Results showed that the method of reducing stress based on mindfulness had caused a significant reduction in worries in the intervention group. Therefore, this method can be used to improve the mental health of this group of patients in health centers.
Melasma is a chronic hyperpigmentation disorder. Although several treatment methods are used for patients, it remains a challenging problem for physicians. Erbium-YAG laser is one of the laser ...treatment methods that proved its efficacy in melasma treatment. We aimed to compare the efficacy of combining the fractional Er: YAG laser and Kligman’s formula with Kligman’s formula alone in the treatment of melasma. Twenty female patients with bilateral melasma were randomly treated in a split-face controlled manner with a fractional Er: YAG laser followed by Kligman’s formula on one side and Kligman’s formula on the other side. All patients received three laser sessions with four-week intervals. The efficacy of treatments was determined through photographs, Visioface, and Melasma Area Severity Index (MASI) score, all performed at baseline and three months after the end of laser sessions. Fractional Er: YAG laser and Kligman’s formula showed a significant decrease in MASI score than Kligman’s formula alone (

Infertility continued to be a major stressor among women with infertility during COVID-19pandemic. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of primary care posttraumatic stress disorder (PC-PTSD) on ...fertility problem of Iranian women with infertility during COVID-19 pandemic.
In this cross-sectional study, 386 women with infertility completed the questionnaires of PC-PTSD-5 and Fertility Problem Inventory (FPI) at an infertility center between 2020 and 2022.
The mean of fertility problems was 145.20 (± 32.31). In terms of FPI subscales, the means were as follows: Sexual concern 21.80 (± 7.58), social concern 26.53 (± 8.94), relationship concern 26.02 (± 9.18), need for parenthood concern 40.88 (± 8.98), and rejection of childfree lifestyle 29.96 (± 7.69). The highest mean of FPI subscales was related to the need for parenthood concern in women with infertility. The strongest correlation was found between the subscales of sexual concern and social concern followed by sexual concern and relationship concern. The variables of PC-PTSD were a predictor of fertility problems (β = 0.203, P < .0001). Additionally, the variables of PC-PTSDwere a predictor of sexual concern (β = 0.248, P < .0001), social concern (β = 0.237, P < .0001), relationship concern (β = 0.143, P < .020), and need for parenthood concern (β = 0.101, P < .010). After adjusting for demographic characteristics, there was a significant relationship between FPI with job (β=-0.118, P < .031), education (β=-0.130, P < .023), living place (β = 0.115, P < .035), smoking (β = 0.113, P < .036), relationship with husband (β = 0.118, P < .027), and PC-PTSD symptom (β = 0.158, P < .0001). In addition, the multivariate linear regression showed a significant association between sexual concern and education (β=-0.152, P < .008), smoking (β = 0.129, P < .018), PC-PTSD symptom (β = 0.207, P < .0001); social concern and job (β=-0.119, P < .033), PC-PTSD symptom (β = 0.205, P < .0001); relationship concern and education (β=-0.121, P < .033), living place (β = 0.183, P < .001), relationship with husband (β = 0.219, P < .0001); and rejection of childfree lifestyle and job (β=-0.154, P < .007).
Systematic PTSD screening during COVID-19 pandemic by healthcare providers can be uniquely used to identify, evaluate, and treat trauma-related health conditions in infertility settings, which can link women with infertility to mental health services. This can be novel and useful for future policymakers and practitioners in the infertility field.

In this study, a biodegradable hybrid film, comprising of green-synthesized zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) with a chitosan (CS) matrix, was fabricated using a simple casting procedure. The ZnO NPs were synthesized using
extract, and the synthesized NPs and films were characterized using different approaches. The structural, morphological, mechanical, antibacterial, and optical properties, as well as the hydrophilicity, of the prepared samples were investigated using various techniques. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry measurements revealed the presence of phenolic compounds in the
extract. In addition, a strong coordination connection between Zn
and the chitosan matrix was confirmed, which resulted in a good dispersion of ZnO in the chitosan film. The surface of the composite films was transparent, smooth, and uniform, and the flexible bio-based hybrid films exhibited significant antibacterial and antioxidant characteristics, strong visible emission in the 480 nm region, and UV-blocking properties. The ZnO/CS films displayed a potential to extend the shelf life of fruits by up to eight days when stored at 23°C, and also acted as an acceptable barrier against oxygen and water. The biodegradable ZnO/CS film is expected to keep fruit fresher than general chemical plastic films and be used for the packaging of active ingredients.

Methods/design
A randomized clinical trial will be performed on single students, aged 18 to 24 years. The research samples will be divided into three groups. The students will receive self-care behavior education on dysmenorrhea. Following the education, two of the groups will receive
Rosa foetida
extract capsules and placebo capsules in two consecutive cycles every 8 h for two successive days, respectively. The capsules will have similar physical appearance. The third group will not receive any medication. Data will be collected through demographic characteristic questionnaire, visual analog scale, dysmenorrhea self-care behaviors scale questionnaire, pictorial chart, and menstrual distress scale questionnaire. In order to determine and compare the effect of pharmacological and educational interventions on the severity of dysmenorrhea in groups, an ANOVA analysis of variance test with repeated measures will be used by SPSS software version 22.
Discussion
The results will show the effects of
Rosa foetida
extract along with self-care behavior education on primary dysmenorrhea, and beneficial effects that may be found in the trial of this plant may be of use for women with the same problem.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is known as the most intricate and hard-to-treat subtype of breast cancer. TNBC cells do not express the well-known estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, and ...human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) expressed by other breast cancer subtypes. This phenomenon leaves no room for novel treatment approaches including endocrine and HER2-specific antibody therapies. To date, surgery, radiotherapy, and systemic chemotherapy remain the principal therapy options for TNBC treatment. However, in numerous cases, these approaches either result in minimal clinical benefit or are nonfunctional, resulting in disease recurrence and poor prognosis. Nowadays, chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy is becoming more established as an option for the treatment of various types of hematologic malignancies. CAR-Ts are genetically engineered T lymphocytes that employ the body's immune system mechanisms to selectively recognize cancer cells expressing tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) of interest and efficiently eliminate them. However, despite the clinical triumph of CAR-T therapy in hematologic neoplasms, CAR-T therapy of solid tumors, including TNBC, has been much more challenging. In this review, we will discuss the success of CAR-T therapy in hematological neoplasms and its caveats in solid tumors, and then we summarize the potential CAR-T targetable TAAs in TNBC studied in different investigational stages.
