We studied proliferation, migration, and secretion of NO by bone marrow multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells from Wistar rats during conditioning under hypoxic and hyperglycemic conditions and the ...effect of erythropoietin on these parameters. A stimulating effect of erythropoietin on cell proliferation under normal conditions and activation of cell proliferation under conditions of hypoxia and hyperglycemia were demonstrated. Erythropoietin abolishes suppression of cell proliferation in culture with normal glucose level under conditions of H

O
2
-induced hypoxia, while under conditions of hyperglycemia, inhibition of cell proliferation becomes more pronounced. Hypoxia promotes activation of cell migration along the growth factor concentration gradient and addition of erythropoietin to the nutrient medium leads to a decrease in cell migration activity. Erythropoietin stimulates NO production by cells cultured under the conditions of hypoxia and hyperglycemia.
The study examined the effect of VEGF and erythropoietin on proliferative and migratory activities of skin fibroblasts and multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells of human adipose tissue. VEGF ...stimulated proliferation and migration of fi broblasts, but produced no significant effect on functional activity of multipotent mesenchymal stem cells. Erythropoietin stimulated proliferation of both cell types, but did not affect their migration.
In this note, we prove the following conjecture by A. Akopyan and V. Tris(hydroxymethyl)methyl ammonium salts, C(CH2OH)3NH3X, were obtained for the first time by the interaction of tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (TRIS) with carboxylic acids (cinnamic, benzoic, ...salicylic, nicotinic, 2-methylphenoxyacetic, succinic, malonic, oxalic, malic and citric). The new compounds (1–15) were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR, elemental analysis and thermal analysis methods. The crystal structures of the tris(hydroxymethyl)methyl ammonium hydrogen malonate, hydrogen succinate and 2-methylphenoxyacetate were determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The antimicrobial activity of some synthesized tris(hydroxymethyl)methyl ammonium salts against bacteria Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and fungi Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger has been investigated.

followed by shrinkage in the longitudinal ...direction, upon their repeated stretching in air is studied by structural mechanical methods. The process of shrinkage is accompanied by the approach of lamellas and the disappearance of the oriented fibrillar structure. The value of relative shrinkage may be as high as 70–80%. According to atomic force microscopy and small-angle X‑ray scattering, these polymer films “remember” their previous strain in CO
2
and in their repeated stretching in air, which is not a physically active medium, and restore the fibrillar porous structure of crazes with similar parameters. The phenomenon of such a memory makes it possible to use PE films preliminarily formed by the mechanism of intercrystallite crazing followed by their subsequent relaxation in the freestanding state as “precursors” for producing mesoporous materials with the pore volume on the order of 30 vol % for application in various fields, in particular, as vapor permeable membranes.
Abstract
The article provides information about the impact of nutrition on human health and the formation of nutritional diseases. Irrational nutrition is typical for the population of Russia, in ...particular of the Smolensk region. The article provides an overview of the functional properties of flax seeds and linseed oil in terms of fatty acid composition and functional properties. The data of studies on the determination of fatty acid composition in samples enriched with flax seeds, flaxseed oil compared to the control sample (initial minced turkey breast meat) are presented. The introduction of functional ingredients improved the fatty acid composition and increased the efficiency of enriched semi-finished products. The positive effect of oilseed flax and flaxseed oil on the organoleptic characteristics of the developed chopped semi-finished products was noted. Improving the Omega-3: Omega-6 ratio in the developed semi-finished products allows to consider enriched semi-finished products as a functional food product.
The use of additional gluten-free grain raw materials in the form of flour or secondary raw materials of cereal industry in the recipes of bakery products allows regulating the biotechnological ...processes of dough maturing and proofing, obtaining a finished product with new functional properties and high nutritional value. The purpose of the research is to justify experimentally the use of processed products of amaranth grain and sorghum for the production of bread of high quality and functionality. The methodological basis of the study is presented by a systematic analysis of the technology for the production of bakery products enriched with promising phyto-fortifiers. In accordance with the chosen methodology, the chemical composition is analyzed and the positive effect of the use of flour from millet grain, sorghum and amaranth seeds in the mixture with premium wheat flour on the quality of bread is experimentally justified. It was found that the introduction of these types of additional raw materials had a positive effect on the activation of baking yeast and the maturation of dough. In the production of bread from wheat flour of the highest grade, it is optimal to use these phyto-fortifiers in the amount of 3% by weight of the composite mixture.
