The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a unique collection of seventeen time-bound goals that strive to balance the three sustainability objectives of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. This research has been carried out to assess the present status of green finance in India and see its impact on startups. A green startup's success probability and importance are explained with specific case studies. By extracting the data from various published reports, it has been found that government initiatives are turning green by providing green finance, and Indian startups are exploiting this opportunity by the implementation of sustainable entrepreneurship. India has been on a path toward green project finance for some years now, and significant adjustments have been made to the country's financial sector to embrace ecologically friendly methods. Businesses are the economy's engine, and adopting sustainable business practices is critical for reaching carbon neutrality.
Financial literacy is a path to sustainability and has an important role in ensuring the financial sustainability of individuals, families, enterprises and national economies. The level of these ...economic indicators such as debt, payment discipline, savings and financial management all translate into prosperity or insolvency and bankruptcy and result partially from financial literacy. The higher the level of financial literacy, especially of young people, the more favourable the level of economic indicators, which translates into the economy and sustainable development. With this study we aim to determine the level of financial literacy of high school students in Poland and to determine whether financial literacy changes according to gender. The most important element that distinguishes our study from the others is that or study was carried out with a large sample of high school students with an average age of 15–16 years. In addition, the effect of gender on financial literacy at an early age was investigated, also comparing the wider themes to the so-called narrow themes. The results of the research demonstrated a good and partially very good, level of financial knowledge of the young people in Poland. 45.3% obtained an average level score and 43.8% achieved a high-level score in financial knowledge. This result shows that they can be rational in their financial decision making. However although, it is understood that gender makes a difference on financial behaviour and use of financial instruments, gender does not make any difference on the level of financial knowledge. Moreover, the financial literacy level of males is found to be higher than females.
Although there is a large volume of literature on the relationship between Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and firm performance, only a limited number of studies have focused on the ...banking sector. In addition, most of them used linear models. Therefore, in this study, we examined the impact of ESG and ESG pillar scores (environmental, social, and governance) on the market value of U.S. commercial banks by using linear and non-linear panel regression models over the period of 2016–2020. Moreover, we used the market value as a bank value indicator and included the effect of COVID-19. Results show an inverted U-shaped relationship between market value and ESG and The Social Pillar Score (SPS) and a U-shaped relationship between market value and The Environment Pillar Score (EPS). Findings from this study are important indicators for investment managers and policymakers who want to maximise bank market value while complying with ESG standards.

This article is based on market-based research that focuses on demonstrating the volatility in the fintech market’s prices and demystifying the opportunities. Secondary data were collected from the Bombay Stock Exchange’s official fintech industry website from January 2017 to July 2022 to determine whether there is any dynamic link between risk and return in the Indian fintech market. The variance-based Mean-GARCH (GARCH-M) model was used to determine whether there is a dynamic link between risk and return in the Indian fintech market. The findings emphasize the importance of taking the risk of investing in India’s fintech industry. The implications for stock investors’ and fund managers’ portfolio composition and holding periods of equities or market exposure are significant. Finally, depending on their investment horizons, the Indian fintech industry may yield significant profits for risk-taking individuals.

Measuring the hedging effectiveness level of futures markets is vital for these countries because investors must remain in the stock markets for the sustainability of the financial markets and economies. Weekly closing data for the period from January 2009 to October 2021 were analyzed via a dynamic method referred to as flexible least squares (FLS). Although the FLS results show that futures transactions provide high hedging effectiveness for all countries within the scope of this study, country-specific conditions may reduce the hedging effectiveness.
European Green Deal (EGD) was introduced by the European Union in December 2019 with a pledge to transform the European Union into a carbon-neutral economy by the year 2050. This study intends to ...undertake a bibliometric evaluation of the existing literature on EGD. This research aims to precisely identify and evaluate the most influential sources, contributors and cited works in the EGD literature, as well as delineate primary research directions and geographical hotspots, thereby offering a comprehensive overview of the current state and trends within the field. An attempt has been made to identify the trends of the research on EGD, along with the top countries contributing to the literature on EGD. The emerging keywords in the EGD literature are traced to provide future research directions. A total of 846 research documents are obtained from the Scopus database, and the Visualization of Similarities (VOS) viewer software is used for data analysis. The results of the analysis reveal that sustainability, sustainable development, energy efficiency, energy policies, greenhouse emissions, climate change, biodiversity, circular economy and renewable energy emerge as prominent and interconnected areas of research within the academic discourse on the EGD.
The aim of this study is to determine whether the stock indices of some developed and developing countries react similarly to the price movements in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA). In this ...study, the impact of DJIA on other indices during the 2008 global financial crisis, was explored by using the Vector Error Correction Model. The data used was analyzed in two periods: (1) the expansionary period; and (2) the contractionary period of the FED's policies. The results of the analysis indicate that the developed and emerging stock markets react differently to the DJIA. The results include important findings for decisions by financial investors and policy makers.
