The first observation of the B_{s}^{0}→Dover ¯^{0}K_{S}^{0} decay mode and evidence for the B_{s}^{0}→Dover ¯^{*0}K_{S}^{0} decay mode are reported. The data sample corresponds to an integrated ...luminosity of 3.0 fb^{-1} collected in pp collisions by LHCb at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The branching fractions are measured to be B(B_{s}^{0}→Dover ¯^{0}Kover ¯^{0})=4.3±0.5(stat)±0.3(syst)±0.3(frag)±0.6(norm)×10^{-4},B(B_{s}^{0}→Dover ¯^{*0}Kover ¯^{0})=2.8±1.0(stat)±0.3(syst)±0.2(frag)±0.4(norm)×10^{-4},where the uncertainties are due to contributions coming from statistical precision, systematic effects, and the precision of two external inputs, the ratio f_{s}/f_{d} and the branching fraction of B^{0}→Dover ¯^{0}K_{S}^{0}, which is used as a calibration channel.

The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.6 nb-1. The nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy of the pPb collisions is ... TeV. The measurement is performed using psi(2S) mesons with transverse momentum less than 14 GeV/c and rapidity y in the ranges 1.5 < y < 4.0 and -5.0 < y < -2.5 in the nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass system. The forward-backward production ratio and the nuclear modification factor are determined for psi(2S) mesons. Using the production cross-section results of psi(2S) and J/psi mesons from b-hadron decays, the ... cross-section in pPb collisions at ... TeV is obtained. Figure not available: see fulltext.

For the D ^sup +^ K ^sub S^^sup 0^ final state, the decays D ^sup *+^ arrow right D ^sup 0^ pi ^sup +^ with D ^sup 0^ arrow right K ^sup -^ pi ^sup +^ and D ^sup 0^ arrow right K ^sup -^ pi ^sup +^ pi ^sup +^ pi ^sup -^ are used. For D ^sup *0^ K ^sup +^, the decay D ^sup *0^ arrow right D ^sup 0^ pi ^sup 0^ with D ^sup 0^ arrow right K ^sup -^ pi ^sup +^ is used. Abstract An angular analysis of the B ^sup 0^ arrow right K ^sup *0^(arrow right K ^sup +^ pi ^sup -^)mu ^sup +^ mu ^sup -^ decay is presented. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of ...3.0 fb^sup -1^ of pp collision data collected at the LHCb experiment. The complete angular information from the decay is used to determine CP-averaged observables and CP asymmetries, taking account of possible contamination from decays with the K ^sup +^ pi ^sup -^ system in an S-wave configuration. The angular observables and their correlations are reported in bins of q ^sup 2^, the invariant mass squared of the dimuon system. The observables are determined both from an unbinned maximum likelihood fit and by using the principal moments of the angular distribution. In addition, by fitting for q ^sup 2^-dependent decay amplitudes in the region 1.1 < q ^sup 2^ < 6.0 GeV^sup 2^/c ^sup 4^, the zero-crossing points of several angular observables are computed. A global fit is performed to the complete set of CP-averaged observables obtained from the maximum likelihood fit. This fit indicates differences with predictions based on the Standard Model at the level of 3.4 standard deviations. These differences could be explained by contributions from physics beyond the Standard Model, or by an unexpectedly large hadronic effect that is not accounted for in the Standard Model predictions. Abstract The production of Upsilon mesons in pp collisions at ... and 8 TeV is studied with the LHCb detector using data samples corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1 fb-1 and 2 fb-1 ...respectively. The production cross-sections and ratios of cross-sections are measured as functions of the meson transverse momentum p and rapidity y, for p < 30 GeV/c and 2.0 < y < 4.5. Figure not available: see fulltext.
Abstract The first measurement of CP asymmetries in the decay ... and an updated measurement of its branching fraction and polarisation fractions are presented. The results are obtained using data ...corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb-1 of proton-proton collisions recorded with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. Together with constraints from B 0 arrow right J/psi rho 0, the results are used to constrain additional contributions due to penguin diagrams in the CP -violating phase s , measured through B s 0 decays to charmonium. Figure not available: see fulltext.
A search is presented for hidden-sector bosons, χ, produced in the decay B(0)→K*(892)(0)χ, with K*(892)(0)→K(+)π(-) and χ→μ(+)μ(-). The search is performed using pp-collision data corresponding to ...3.0 fb(-1) collected with the LHCb detector. No significant signal is observed in the accessible mass range 214≤m(χ)≤4350 MeV, and upper limits are placed on the branching fraction product B(B(0)→K*(892)(0)χ)×B(χ→μ(+)μ(-)) as a function of the mass and lifetime of the χ boson. These limits are of the order of 10(-9) for χ lifetimes less than 100 ps over most of the m(χ) range, and place the most stringent constraints to date on many theories that predict the existence of additional low-mass bosons.
Physics Letters B 765 (2017) 307-316 A search is made for the highly-suppressed B meson decays $B^{+}\rightarrow
K^{+}K^{+}\pi^{-}$ and $B^{+}\rightarrow \pi^{+}\pi^{+}K^{-}$ using a data
sample ...corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 $fb^{-1}$ collected by
the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7
and 8 TeV. No evidence is found for the decays, and upper limits at 90\%
confidence level are determined to be $\mathcal{B}(B^{+}\rightarrow
K^{+}K^{+}\pi^{-}) < 1.1\times 10^{-8}$ and $\mathcal{B}(B^{+}\rightarrow
\pi^{+}\pi^{+}K^{-}) < 4.6\times 10^{-8}$.
JHEP 1609 (2016) 153 The ratio of branching fractions $R_{K/\pi} \equiv \mathcal{B}(B_{c}^{+} \to
J/\psi K^{+})/\mathcal{B}(B_{c}^{+} \to J/\psi\pi^{+})$ is measured with $pp$
collision data ...collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7
TeV and 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of
3${\mbox{fb}^{-1}}$. It is found to be $ R_{K/\pi} = 0.079\pm0.007\pm0.003$,
where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This
measurement is consistent with the previous LHCb result, while the
uncertainties are significantly reduced.
