This paper investigates the almost-sure and moment stability of a double nanobeam system under stochastic compressive axial loading. By means of the Lyapunov exponent and the moment Lyapunov exponent ...method the stochastic stability of the nano system is analyzed for different system parameters under an axial load modeled as a wideband white noise process. The method of regular perturbation is used to determine the explicit asymptotic expressions for these exponents in the presence of small intensity noises.
High reproductive power and short development cycle, in addition to other factors, enable D.gallinae to produce adverse effects in the poultry industry. Not all development stages have the same ...significance, nor are they equally sensitive to the methods and formulations used for D.gallinae control. Laboratory tests were conducted by exposing eggs, larvae and protonymphs to P 547/17 formulation of inert oils (Pulcap). The testing was carried out with 20% oil-in-water emulsion with short exposure (1 min), and with 10%, 20%, 50% and 100% oil-in-water emulsion with continuous exposure. In the first control group, water was used (with continuous exposure), and in the other control group, eggs, larvae and nymphs were not treated. We determined that in all cases, eggs were laid in high percentage (89-100%). In addition to this, in tested liquids, larvae were present in high percentage and they change into protonymphs (8-89%). In the conditions of full exposure, where parasitic stages cannot leave the emulsion, P 547/17 in time achieves complete efficacy on development stages. In short exposure of eggs, when dirt is present, or on absorbent surfaces, P 547/17 emulsion cannot control them. However, this flaw is not essential in practical conditions. When applied correctly, P 547/17 formulation is efficient in D.gallinae control.
The results of the previous studies demonstrated an association between mycophenolic acid (MPA) exposure, serum albumin level (ALB), and adverse effects in kidney transplant patients. The aim was the ...identification of mathematical correlation and association between both, total and unbound MPA concentration in relation to ALB, body mass (BM), age and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) in stable kidney transplant recipients. Furthermore, investigation was conducted with the aim to clarify the role of salivary concentration (CSAL) of MPA in adverse effect profile. In order to analyze the association between total and salivary concentration of MPA in relation to ALB, BM, age and eGFR, a least squares method for determining the correlation between these parameters was performed. In addition, derived mathematical model based on experimental data can also be performed and simulated through the Monte Carlo (MC) approach. Adverse effects were grouped according to the nature of symptoms and scored by a previously published validated system. Numerically calculated values of CSAL from the models CSAL = f(ALB, BM, age, eGFR, CP) = a00 + a10*(ALB, BM, age, eGFR) + a01*CP were then compared with those from validation set of patients, where the best fitting model was for ALB CSAL = 54.96–1.64*ALB +13.4*CP. Adverse effects estimation showed the difference in esthetic score, positively correlated with CSAL in the lower ALB group (145.41 ± 219.02 vs. 354.08 ± 262.19; with statistical significance p = .014) and almost significant for gastrointestinal score (167.69 ± 174.79 vs. 347.55 ± 320.95; p = .247). The study showed that CSAL MPA may contribute to management of adverse effects, but these findings require confirmation of clinical utility.
Continuous entomological monitoring of Cullicoides spp., which is being conducted starting from 2014 have so far yielded significant results related to biodiversity and seasonal dynamics of these ...insects Serbia. The research we have done so far has contributed to mapping the geographical distribution of the species we encounter as well as the variations in the number of populations in different years. As monitoring continues, we receive new valuable data every year that will help predict the movement of these insects on the basis of biclimatograms and enable preventative action to be taken to counteract them. Unfortunately, starting in 2019, monitoring has been split into three institutions (NIVS Belgrade, NIV Novi Sad and VSI Kraljevo) so that this has lost insight into the biodiversity, sex ratio, and most importantly the age of the females that are the primary vectors. In our work, therefore, we can provide only the results of testing the biodiversity and seasonal dynamics of Cullicoides spp. during 2019 in the epizootiological area of NIVS Belgrade, VSI Šabac, VSI Pančevo, VSI Požarevac, and VSI Zaječar, while we did not divide samples from VSI Jagodina for the fourth consecutive year. Culicoides spp. from Obsoletus complexes were established at 59.91%, from the Pulicaris complex were established at 34.06% and other types of culicoids have been established in less than 10% of the examined samples.
Background: Tacrolimus (Tac) is characterized by large between- and within-patient (IPV) variability in pharmacokinetics and exposure. Aim: This study aimed to assess and validate the effect of Tac ...IPV and trough concentration-to-dose ratio (C0/D) over 6–12 months on reduced estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) values in the late period after kidney transplantation (Tx), applying Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. Methods: The previously published linear regression was the basis for MC simulation, performed to determine how variations in significant predictors affect the distribution of eGFR from 13 to 36 months post-transplantation. The input C0/D values were derived from CYP3A5 genotype subgroups. Results: Patients characterized by high Tac IPV and low mean C0/D over 6–12 months could have been at greater risk of lower eGFR values in a three-year period following Tx compared to the other patient groups. This effect was more pronounced in patients with a lower eGFR at the 6th month and a history of acute rejection. The proven contribution of CYP3A5 expresser genotype to low C0/D values may suggest its indirect effect on long-term graft function. Conclusion: The findings indicate that simultaneous assessment of Tac IPV, C0/D, and CYP3A5 genotype may identify patients at risk of deterioration of graft function in the long-term post-transplantation period.
The development of central bank digital currencies brings into question the business model to be used for their application in the financial system. Three business models are imposed and considered in search of the one that will best be adopted into the financial system and enable optimal management of the monetary economics. The role of financial institutions and corporate banks varies depending on the business model. Each model, direct, indirect or hybrid, features its own specificities. Central banks have implemented research and analysis of the stated models in order to find the one that would generate maximum potential. The conducted analyses show that central banks lean toward the hybrid model that encompasses the benefits of the direct and indirect models. The hybrid model does not deteriorate financial stability, financial institutions keep their role, while monetary policy management becomes more effective than in the case of the remaining models.
Histamine is a biogen amin, which is formed by decarboxylation of the histidine amino acid, under the action of the L-histidine-decarboxylase enzyme. High level of free histidine in fish meat, ...bacterial histidin decarboxylase activity and high temperature of storage elevate the level of histamine. Among the most important factors that can affect the level of histamine in fish meat are the type of fish and the method of its preservation. In order to determine this dependence, 1030 samples of frozen fish (tuna, mackerel, sardines and sprat) and 167 samples of canned fish (tuna, sardines and mackerel) were monitored for histamine content by ELISA method. It was determined a lower concentration of histamine in frozen fish (from 5.71 mg/kg to 18.03 mg/kg) compared to canned fish (from 15.03 mg/kg to 110.6 mg/kg). The highest histamine concentrations were found in the mackerel samples, regardless of the preservation method (110.6 mg/kg in canned mackerel and 18.03 mg/kg in frozen mackerel), which were significantly higher compared to the histamine levels found in cans of tuna and sardines (p ˂0.0001). Of the total number of samples, three samples (two samples of canned sardines and one sample of canned mackerel) were declared unsafe for human health. In most of the analyzed samples, the level of determined histamine was relatively low, which confirms adequate implementation of control protocols and efficant surveillance of products placed on the Serbian market.

The paper analyzes a stochastic stability problem of a multi-nanobeam system subjected to compressive axial loading. It is assumed that each pair of nanobeams is simply supported and continuously ...joined by a viscoelastic layer. Differential equations of nanobeams are given according to Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory of Helmholtz and bi-Helmholtz type of kernel and Euler–Bernoulli beam theory. Each pair of axial forces consists of a constant part and a time-dependent stochastic function. By using the moment Lyapunov exponent method, regions of almost sure stability of a multi-nanobeam system are obtained in a function of different parameters of the viscoelastic medium, axial loadings and number of nanobeams. Using the regular perturbation method, an approximated analytical solution of the moment Lyapunov exponent is obtained for a single nanobeam subjected to the white noise process, where the results are successfully confirmed with numerical results using the Monte Carlo simulation method. Numerical determination of the moment Lyapunov exponents is further performed for a higher number of nanobeams and different models of wideband processes.
