On the assumption, upon which perception may be considered as an associative integration of available memory pictures or archetypes as universal thought forms, the deep ecological, cross-cultural and ...holistic approach is conceived for two complementary areas of research: 1) contemplations about the anthropological traits of imagination, symbolic meanings of museum objects, culture, archetype image symbols and induced associations; 2) meditation on the notion of man in the language and culture of Igbo people in Nigeria, and group visual art expression. These contents are discussed with reference to some knowledge in archetypology, neuroscience, semiotics, fine and other arts, psychoanalysis, sophrology, museology and other related areas. Culture is considered as a way of life which embraces the customs and beliefs, arts, rituals, mentality, religious leaning of the people and historically transmitted patterns of symbols. Three subjects, who graduated in philosophy and/or theology at the Nigerian University, were involved in these activities. Their role in the research workshops extended to that of active participants as listeners, observers and researchers. Museum collections are considered as traditional religious objects, as artistic or ornamental objects, as charms and fetish objects. In a broader sense, and with a review on psychoanalytic theory of object relations and other related areas, some contemplation is shown about the complex history and meaning of the word charms, fetish and related terms, and about creativity, beliefs and human coping mechanisms with various problem areas. In this context, the importance of the catalytic role of education and the heritage mission of the Nigerian museum is highlighted. Research activities were carried out in the Museum of Charms and Fetish Objects in Main Campus of Madonna University and National Pilgrimage Centre in Elele, Nigeria.
U svezi s time, istaknuta je važnost katalitičke uloge edukacije i baštinske misije nigerijskog muzeja. Ove aktivnosti su ostvarene u Muzeju čarolijskih i fetiš predmeta u glavnom kampusu Madonna Sveučilišta i Nacionalnog hodočasničkog centra u Elele, u Nigeriji.
Within the framework of a transcultural, psychodynamic and holistic approach, Edeh's concept of Man as Mma-di (in Igbo language in Nigeria, mma-di = good that is, and mma-ndu = the beauty of Life) is ...presented as the nucleus of his philosophical articulation from an African metaphysical-anthropological perspective. In this context, some reflections are shown on the following topics: human creativity and peace... of mind, body and soul, as existential values and entity in bioethics; aspects of Edeh's philosophy and his work on the peace in the world; transculturality and Igbo proverbs shaped in form of Japanese Haiku poetry. These reflections emphasize the importance of induced aesthetic mental state in the subject, which derives from biological impulses but from archetypal and symbolic value of the object and continuously enter into a metaphysical experience as a form of life energy and human existential need. In this context, we discover also Edeh's philosophy as a new stimulus for further reflections and research on human life potentials, creativity, peace and Man's cosmic responsibility.

The program was conducted in seven assessment points and the original data for the controlled variables were processed by the INDIFF analysis of changes. Results: Obtained through the two main components of change for the observed variables and their analysis, research results have confirmed the initial hypothesis, that the value of complementary analytical approaches and application of sophrology and art/expressive therapy in the complex treatment and rehabilitation. Conclusion: Supporting mechanisms for coping in children with malignant disease is crucial to maintain child’s psychoemotional homeostasis during treatment and rehabilitation. In this context art/expressive therapy and sophrology, such methods and procedures designed and implemented through the individual protocol, may have psychotherapeutic and supporting function.
The perception of music and musical improvisation can be used in education, diagnostics and therapy. The goal of this research was to conduct a study of how selective musical stimulations affect the ...child’s psychomotor, psychoemotional, symbolic expression and self-realization. The research was carried out with five subjects who participated in Orff music therapy treatment. The research consisted of six evaluation points per each subject. Movements I - musical model A and IV - musical model B from L. van Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony served as musical models. 28 variables were observed. The results show a statistically significant difference between two musical models; model A and model B for color selection. Statistically significant results were obtained for the following colors: yellow (p = 0,012), light green (p = 0,024), cobalt blue (p = 0,027), brown (p = 0,049) and gray (p = 0,044). Although there was no statistically significant difference in improvisation the results of the research show that children were choosing different instruments, using different tempo and dynamics to greatly differ two musical models.
Conducted research show that there is a need to further develop and test the application of methods of creative therapy in children’s education, rehabilitation and therapy.

Body image as a clinical entity is an exceptionally complex issue. This topic has been the subject of a number of contemporary scientific and clinical research studies, conducted by authors from ...various disciplines in the field of biomedical, humanistic and other sciences, as well as in the field of rehabilitation sciences. In such research studies the authors apply different theoretical and intertheoretical approaches to the study of factors affecting the development of body image experience in a person. Within that framework, a systematic analysis of scientific papers published in fifteen relevant scientific journals worldwide has been presented in this paper. It comprises a sample of 158 scientific papers, classified in the research procedure into three subsamples: a) general baselines in diagnostics, therapy and evaluation of body image experience; b) body image experience in breast cancer patients; and c) an analysis of keywords with special emphasis on the terms breast cancer and body image. An analysis of original data for control variables has been conducted with application of canonical covariance analysis. Normality of frequency distributions was tested by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Basic statistical parameters were computed in all qualitative variables. Obtained results have shown a wide range of problem fields the author focussed on, as well as different concepts of research applied therein. Based on the obtained results, a need was identified to develop new systematic multidimensional and interdisciplinary approaches in diagnostic, therapeutical, educational and rehabilitational approaches. The presented results arise from the scientific research project “Complementary Supportive Therapies and Development of Life Potentials”, conducted with the support of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
