We study statistical properties of 3D classical spin-glass under the influence of external fields. It is proved that in the framework of the nearest-neighboring model 3D spin-glass problem at ...performing of Birkhoff’s ergodic hypothesis regarding to orientations of spins in the 3D space can be reduced to the problem of disordered 1D spatial spin-chains (SSC) ensemble where each spin-chain interacts with a random environment. The 1D SSC is defined as a periodic 1D lattice, where spins in nodes are randomly oriented in 3D space, in addition they all interact with each other randomly. For minimization of the Hamiltonian in an arbitrary node of the 1D lattice lattice, we obtained recurrent equations and corresponding Sylvester criterion, which allow to find energy local minimum. On the bases of these equations the high-performance parallel algorithm is developed which allows to calculate all statistical parameters of 3D spin glass, including distribution of a constant of spin-spin interaction, from the first principles of the classical mechanics.
We study the classical 1D Heisenberg spin glasses. Based on the Hamilton equations we obtained the system of recurrence equations which allows to perform node-by-node calculations of a spin-chain. It ...is shown that calculations from first principles of classical mechanics lead to NP hard problem, that however in the limit of the statistical equilibrium can be calculated by P algorithm. For the partition function of the ensemble a new representation is offered in the form of one-dimensional integral of spin-chains' energy distribution.
AREAL (Advanced Research Electron Accelerator Laboratory) is an electron linear accelerator with a laser driven RF gun constructed at CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute. After the successful ...operation of the gun section at 5 MeV, a program of facility energy growth up to 50 MeV has been launched, which includes the construction of two advanced experimental stations for the generation of middle infrared and THz radiation. This paper presents the design of these stations and gives the characteristics of expected radiation based on numerical and theoretical studies.
Effect of different irradiation (by electrons, neutrons, protons, and gamma) on the main properties of silicon-based semiconductor devices has been studied. A higher emphasis has been placed on ...transistors as the least radiation-stable structures. It is shown that under irradiation by protons the modification of corresponding parameters occurs at relatively lower doses. The results are explained on the basis of arising of surface channels of conductivity under irradiation.
The relation between the original and difference trajectories of beam in linear accelerators is considered. A new integral equation for beam trajectory was obtained and a recurrent analytical ...solution was given for determination of the central trajectory on the basis of information about the difference trajectory. The results of numerical simulation for the undulator section of the European X-Ray FEL are presented.
The ultimate goal of the study is to develop an early warning system for the south and southeast regions of Armenia (11 in total) by defining specific thresholds for issuing alerts for adverse and ...severe weather phenomena. In the article the high temperature, wind and precipitation weather elements are discussed based on the experiments performed during the summer periods of 2011 and 2014. The system has been implemented based on the mesoscale Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model 1, which is adapted to the territory of Armenia and used for operational weather forecasting. The verification methodology is to analyze the model results against observations received from four ground hydrometeorological stations located in the south and southeast regions of Armenia. The correlation coefficients, standard deviations of the differences and biases are calculated for the air temperature and wind speed and for precipitation amount and yes/no contingency tables are constructed.
The results of analysis of approximately 3 years of gamma-ray observations (August 2008-July 2011) of the radio galaxy Centaurus A with the Fermi Large Area Telescope (Fermi LAT) are presented. By ...modeling the surrounding (background) sources including the giant lobes of Centaurus A, and using the standard binned likelihood analysis method, the energy spectrum of the core is derived. In the energy range below several GeV it is described by a single power-law with photon index Γ=2.73±0.06 in agreement with the report of the Fermi LAT collaboration based on the first 10 months observations of the source. However, at higher energies the new data show significant excess above the extrapolation of the energy spectrum from low energies. The total flux between 200 MeV to 50 GeV is estimated to be (1.63±0.14)×10^sup -7^ ph cm^sup -2^ s^sup -1^. The comparison of the corresponding Spectral Energy Distribution (SED) at GeV energies with the SED in the TeV energy band reported by the H.E.S.S. collaboration shows that we deal with two or perhaps even three components of gamma-radiation originating from different regions located within the central 10 kpc of Centaurus A.PUBLICATION ABSTRACT
