In the paper, a method for measuring the inactive powers of a three-phase power supply system based on operations with currents and voltages represented in the αβ - coordinate system is proposed. It ...is shown that measuring the four scalar powers and apparent power of a three-phase threewire system based on currents and voltages represented in the αβ-coordinate system requires four wattmeters, which is half as much as when using non-convertible values of currents and voltages. The six scalar powers of the three-phase four-wire power supply system can be determined based on the readings of six wattmeters. The experiment showed the adequacy of calculated and experimental data. Change in the nature of the load while preserving the value of the first load current harmonic does not affect the integral values of four scalar powers.
The paper provides the data of a comparative analysis of the indicators of immune and interferon states and cytokine profile and the results of virological studies in patients with different (acute ...and chronic) forms of mixed herpesvirus infection (with virus simplex herpes types 1 and 2, Epstein-Barr virus, human herpesvirus type 6, and others). Pronounced changes were found in immune responses in such patients. There were decreases in IFN-alpha and IFN-gamma values in 36 and 13%, respectively; 51% of the subjects showed a reduction in both IFN-alpha and IFN-gamma along with the high titers of antibodies to viruses of the Herpesviridae family and their infectious activity. There were changes in the cytokine profile, activation of IFN-alpha, IL-2, IL-8, IL-10, and IL-18 gene expression, and suppression of IL-2 gene transcription in the majority of the patients. Determination of IFN susceptibility revealed that 86% of the subjects responded to IFN-alpha therapy and only 11% of cases did to IFN-gamma one.

The aspects of immune response (including cytokines system) in different eye ...pathologies are highlighted. The existing data on normal and pathogenic microflora of conjunctive and its possible influence on immune processes in eye-bulbe are summarized.
Many parts of immune system are involved in interaction of M. tuberculosis and human organism. There are some publications concerning significance of interferon and other cytokines in lung ...tuberculosis. Our research group investigated condition of interferon and cytokines systems in patients with firstly detected infiltrative lung tuberculosis. The results of this study have shown direct links between clinical and immunological efficacy of the complex treatment of such patients. The active expression of IL-6 gene correlates with slow dynamics of lung infiltrate resolution and long saving of patient’s complaint for respiratory tract symptoms during the treatment. The expression of IL-12 gene linked to small volume of infiltrates in lung tissue before treatment whereas expression of IL-1β gene correlates with decrease of intoxication time and respiratory symptoms in patients during therapy. The knowledge about violation in cytokine regulation parts is absolutely necessary to determine dynamics of diseases development and treatment efficacy as well as to use immunotherapy.
