Using data accumulated by DELPHI during the November 1995 LEP run at 130-136 GeV, searches have been made for events with jets or leptons in conjunction with missing momentum, The results are ...interpreted in terms of limits on the production of neutralinos
The production of charmed particles by Sigma- of 340 Gev/c momentum was studied in the hyperon beam experiment WA89 at the CERN-SPS, using the Omega-spectrometer. In two data-taking periods in 1993 ...and 1994 an integrated luminosity of 1600 microb^-1 on copper and carbon targets was recorded. From the reconstruction of 930 +- 90 charm particle decays in 10 decay channels production cross sections for D, antiD, Ds and Lambdac were determined in the region xF>0. Assuming an A^1 dependence of the cross section on the nucleon number, we calculate a total ccbar production cross section of sigma(x_F > 0) = 5.3+- 0.4(stat)+-1.0(syst)+1.0(Xi_c) microb per nucleon. The last term is an upper limit on the unknown contribution from charmed-strange baryon production.
This letter reports the results of the measurement of single photon production in the reaction e(+)e(-) --> gamma+ invisible particles at centre-of-mass energies root s = 130 and 136 GeV and an ...integrated luminosity of 5.83 pb(-1), collected with the DELP
We report on a measurement of the differential and total cross sections of inclusive production of Xi resonances in Sigma - nucleus collisions at 345 GeV/c.
CERN experiment WA89 has studied charmed particles produced by a Sigma^- beam at 340 GeV/c on nuclear targets. Production of particles which have light quarks in common with the beam is compared to ...production of those which do not. Considerable production asymmetries between D^- and D^p, D_s^ and D_s^+ and Lambda_c and Antilambda_c are observed. The results are compared with pion beam data and with theoretical calculations.
This paper presents results on charged Higgs boson production, based on LEP data collected at
s

GeV, that complement the previous DELPHI results obtained at centre of mass energies up to 161 ...GeV. The charged Higgs bosons are assumed to be pair produced and to decay either into a quark pair or into
τν
τ
. The three different possible final states are included in the analysis. Data from ring imaging Cherenkov and microvertex detectors are used to identify the quarks as a cs pair. The number of candidates found is compatible with the background expected from standard processes. Combining the results of the present analysis with those of the previous analysis at lower energies, a new lower mass limit for the charged Higgs boson is set at 54.5 GeV/

The data collected by DELPHI in 1996 have been used to measure the average charged particle multiplicities and dispersions in

events are consistent with the evolution predicted by QCD. The dispersions in the multiplicity distributions are consistent with Koba-Nielsen-Olesen (KNO) scaling. The average multiplicity of charged particles in hadronic W decays has been measured for the first time; its value, 19.23±0.74(stat+syst), is consistent with that expected for an
