To further improve the perception ability of binocular vision sensor in getting rich environment information and scene depth information, a research method of a robot obstacle recognition and target ...tracking based on binocular vision was proposed. The method focused on target recognition and obstacle recognition of binocular stereo vision. The system based on obstacles of visual identification was set up. Through the analysis of the Bouguet mathematical model algorithm based on OpenCV, the binocular stereo correction was carried out and the obstacle recognition system was calibrated and corrected. Through the experimental data, it was found that the average error of the obstacle recognition and target tracking algorithm based on binocular vision could be controlled within 50 mm within the range of 2100 mm. The average time of obstacle recognition was 0.096 s and the average time consumption of the whole system was 0.466 s, indicating that the robot obstacle recognition and target tracking system based on binocular vision could meet the accuracy and real-timeness requirements of obstacle recognition and detection.
Currently, medical institutes generally use EMR to record patient’s condition, including diagnostic information, procedures performed, and treatment results. EMR has been recognized as a valuable ...resource for large-scale analysis. However, EMR has the characteristics of diversity, incompleteness, redundancy, and privacy, which make it difficult to carry out data mining and analysis directly. Therefore, it is necessary to preprocess the source data in order to improve data quality and improve the data mining results. Different types of data require different processing technologies. Most structured data commonly needs classic preprocessing technologies, including data cleansing, data integration, data transformation, and data reduction. For semistructured or unstructured data, such as medical text, containing more health information, it requires more complex and challenging processing methods. The task of information extraction for medical texts mainly includes NER (named-entity recognition) and RE (relation extraction). This paper focuses on the process of EMR processing and emphatically analyzes the key techniques. In addition, we make an in-depth study on the applications developed based on text mining together with the open challenges and research issues for future work.
Equid alphaherpesvirus 1 (EqAHV1) is a viral pathogen known to cause respiratory disease, neurologic syndromes, and abortion storms in horses. Currently, there are no vaccines that provide complete ...protection against EqAHV1. Marker vaccines and the differentiation of infected and vaccinated animals (DIVA) strategy are effective for preventing and controlling outbreaks but have not been used for the prevention of EqAHV1 infection. Glycoprotein 2 (gp2), located on the envelope of viruses (EqAHV1), exhibits high antigenicity and functions as a molecular marker for DIVA. In this study, a series of EqAHV1 mutants with deletion of gp2 along with other virulence genes (TK, UL24/TK, gI/gE) were engineered. The mutant viruses were studied in vitro and then in an in vivo experiment using Golden Syrian hamsters to assess the extent of viral attenuation and the immune response elicited by the mutant viruses in comparison to the wild-type (WT) virus. Compared with the WT strain, the YM2019 Δgp2, ΔTK/gp2, and ΔUL24/TK/gp2 strains exhibited reduced growth in RK-13 cells, while the ΔgI/gE/gp2 strain exhibited significantly impaired proliferation. The YM2019 Δgp2 strain induced clinical signs and mortality in hamsters. In contrast, the YM2019 ΔTK/gp2 and ΔUL24/TK/gp2 variants displayed diminished pathogenicity, causing no observable clinical signs or fatalities. Immunization with nasal vaccines containing YM2019 ΔTK/gp2 and ΔUL24/TK/gp2 elicited a robust immune response in hamsters. In particular, compared with the vaccine containing the ΔTK/gp2 strain, the vaccine containing the ΔUL24/TK/gp2 strain demonstrated enhanced immune protection upon challenge with the WT virus. Furthermore, an ELISA for gp2 was established and refined to accurately differentiate between infected and vaccinated animals. These results confirm that the ΔUL24/TK/gp2 strain is a safe and effective live attenuated vaccine candidate for controlling EqAHV1 infection.
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and information recognition technology, the edge intelligent terminal based on AI chip provides a new way for power patrol. AI chips have become ...one of the most important components in edge intelligent terminals. However, there are many types of AI chips, and it is particularly important to select appropriate AI chips for application scenarios. Due to the limited computing power of the edge side AI chip, to ensure the real-time performance of the patrol task, it is necessary to research the edge side inference acceleration processing technology. First of all, the parameters and characteristics of various AI chips are analyzed in detail to provide reference for chip selection in different application scenarios. Secondly, a basic framework of power intelligent patrol terminal based on AI chip is proposed, which includes hardware component and software component. Then, in order to transplant the neural network model on the server side to the intelligent patrol terminal, the edge side inference acceleration processing technology is analyzed in detail, specifically the neural network acceleration and compression method and the inference acceleration technology based on TensorRT. Finally, in order to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the whole scheme, an intelligent patrol terminal applied to the visual defect recognition for transmission lines has been developed and tested.

The rapid development of cities and the increasing complexity of its internal structure have led to pressing fire security problems, which calls for an effective and accurate comprehensive fire ...warning model. Most existing fire warning models predict only for a single fire scenario and can hardly balance the speed and accuracy in their predictions, which are not suitable for large-scale scenarios with complex structures. This paper proposes a fire warning model that includes both forest and building area based on Cellular Automata. Experimental areas were established to simulate fire warning according to the proposed hybrid model. The experimental results have shown that the model can quickly and accurately simulate the fire spread process and provide effective support for emergency decision-making in complex scenarios.
Medical Internet of Things, also well known as MIoT, is playing a more and more important role in improving the health, safety, and care of billions of people after its showing up. Instead of going ...to the hospital for help, patients’ health-related parameters can be monitored remotely, continuously, and in real time, then processed, and transferred to medical data center, such as cloud storage, which greatly increases the efficiency, convenience, and cost performance of healthcare. The amount of data handled by MIoT devices grows exponentially, which means higher exposure of sensitive data. The security and privacy of the data collected from MIoT devices, either during their transmission to a cloud or while stored in a cloud, are major unsolved concerns. This paper focuses on the security and privacy requirements related to data flow in MIoT. In addition, we make in-depth study on the existing solutions to security and privacy issues, together with the open challenges and research issues for future work.
In order to select the location of transmission towers in Central Tibet Grid Interconnection Project and provide hazard prevention strategies for the safe operation of power transmission lines, we ...used remote sensing technology to carry out the rockfall interpretation, according to which the space distribution for the rockfall hazard was identified. Then, on-site investigation and UAV aerial survey were conducted in the typical section. Using the scoring method, we selected eight factors including topography, lithology, rock structure, slope structure, hydrogeological conditions, vegetation development, historical rockfall, and slope stability status. The results of the study showed that 116 rockfalls were identified in the transmission line passage of Central Tibet Grid Interconnection Project. Since the rockfall linear density of the Langxian-Milin section was greater than that of other sections, this section was selected as a typical survey section, and assessments were conducted in this section. The study area was classified as high serious, serious, medium serious, and low serious four levels.

A six-axis force/torque sensor is designed to solve the problems of the sensor with a resistance strain gauge. For instance, if the adhesive layer of the resistance strain gauge is not firm, ...the elastic sensing beam will have plastic deformation. The cylindrical conductive rubber is used as the sensing unit, which can detect force/torque by the change of the piezoresistive values. The units are arranged in a spatial eight-point staggered manner, which can reduce the dimensional coupling from the structure. The sensor static calibration is systematically analyzed and researched. The linear decoupling model of the measurement system that incorporating the Least Squares algorithm is established to reduce the dimensional coupling. The new type of sensor structure and static linear calibration algorithm proposed in this paper have good practical applications and popularization values.

An octopod bionic robot was designed by using the multi-link walking mechanism. The kinematics analysis of the robot walking mechanism was carried out by using MATLAB software, and the linear walking gait of the virtual prototype of the robot was simulated by using ADAMS software. The simulation results showed that the octopod bionic robot had good motion stability, strong terrain adaptability, and good practical application and popularization value.
