To determine the value of the gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) test in selecting which infertile patients with varicocele would benefit from varicocelectomy.
The study comprised 30 patients ...with varicocele who presented between November 1993 and May 1994, and 10 control subjects. The basal serum level of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) were determined and all participants given 100 micrograms of GnRH nasally. The levels of FSH and LH were then determined for up to 2 h. The patients then underwent varicolectomy and the response was evaluated by comparing sperm quality before and after treatment and between those with increased or normal FSH and LH levels in response to the GnRH test.
Those patients who had increased FSH and LH levels after the GnRH test had a mean 121% increase in sperm density (P < 0.001), a 23% increase in sperm motility (P < 0.001) and a 40% decrease in sperm abnormality (P < 0.05). The respective values for those with normal levels of FSH and LH were 15% (P < 0.05), 11% (P > 0.05) and 11% (P > 0.05).
The GnRH test is useful for determining those patients who should benefit from varicocelectomy.
The objectives of this study were to compare the protective influence of exogenous nitric oxide on renal ischemia reperfusion (I/R) injury with that of the antioxidant vitamins C and E. ...Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into three groups ( n=12 per group). Normal saline solution was given in group 1, a vitamin C (200 mg/kg/d) plus vitamin E (100 mg/kg/d) combination in group 2 for 3 days before operating and Na-nitroprusside (5 mg/kg/d) in group 3 before reperfusion. The left kidneys were exposed to warm ischemia for 40 min followed by reperfusion for 90 min. The right kidneys were used as internal controls. After both kidneys were removed, histopathological examinations were performed, and oxidative and antioxidative parameters were measured. In the postischemic reperfused rat kidneys, the renal lipid peroxidation level was significantly lower, and the renal GSH level higher in the group given Na-nitroprusside compared with groups 1 and 2. Renal specific xanthine oxidase activity was also significantly lower in the group treated with Na-nitroprusside than in the groups given vitamins or saline. There was a significant, negative correlation between lipid peroxidation and reduced glutathione levels. Our results suggest that the exogenous nitric oxide (Na-nitroprusside) inhibits xanthine oxidase, and has more apparent preventive features for renal I/R injury than the antioxidant vitamins C+E.
Circumcision has always been regarded as both an important social event and a milestone of a young man's life in Turkish culture, especially in the Ottoman period. All the organizations of the Empire participated in this huge event, including many shows and a feast, and the preparations were initiated months before. Traditionally, this kind of important social event of Ottoman culture had been described in a literary manner, and Surname-i Vehbi was the special name for the book of this circumcision festivity with 137 colored paintings and a total of 175 pages. The original of this work, which is in the library of Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul, was written by Vehbi and illustrated by Levni. The importance of this antique book is that it is the last important example of the illustrated festivity books of Ottoman literature.

Peserta didik SMP masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi peluang yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil belajar peserta didik. kesulitan peserta didik dikarenakan kesulitan dalam menggunakan ...bahan ajar yang ada. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan bahan ajar tambahan untuk mendukung pembelajaran materi peluang yaitu berupa lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berbantu alat peraga pada materi pelung di SMP Negeri 3 Metro. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D atau Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Metro. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan antara lain adalah angket validasi materi, angket validasi desain dan bahasa, dan angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan diperoleh hasil, yaitu produk telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Kriteria valid dilihat dari segi materi, desain dan bahasa. Kriteria valid dari segi materi memperoleh persentase 70,60% dan 80,00%. Sedangkan dari segi desain dan bahasa diperoleh persentase sebesar 81,30% dan 90,60%. Berdasarkan persentase hasil uji validitas tersebut, LKPD sudah dinyatakan valid. Selanjutnya, hasil dari uji kepraktisan produk diperoleh persentase sebesar 90,00% dan memenuhi kriteria praktis. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan baru sampai pada tahap uji kepraktisan produk, dikarenakan adanya situasi yang tidak memungkinkan. Oleh karena itu, harapannya penelitian ini dapat dilanjutkan ke tahap uji efektivitas produk.

ABSTRACT
The problem of junior hig school student is to understand the material. It is caused of the mathematics books that was used by student is difficult to understand. So, the students need another kind of resourches such as student’s worksheet. This research is research and development. The aim of this research is develop an student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry by using tools for probability material in junior high school 3 Metro. This research used 4D model or define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of this research are students of state junior high school 3 Metro especially VIII grade. The research instruments are observation’s interview, validation questionnaire, and student’s responce questionnarire. This research and development must be continue in the next project to idetified the efectivity of the product. This situation is caused of the world condition now. The product have material validity scores 70,60% and 80,00%. And then the design and language validity scores are 81,30% and 90,60%. The result of practical test is 90,00%, it means that the product can be used by students. So, the conclution of this research is the product of development can be used in the learning proccess.

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menjawab ...permasalahan yang ada dengan mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran berupa media pembelajaran matematika berbasis video animasi dengan menggunakan sparkol pada materi trigonometri kelas XI. Menggunakan model ADDIE, yaitu: Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluate. Pengembangan ini melalui tahapan uji validasi materi dan media menghasilkan rata-rata persentase uji validasi ahli materi 84,6 % yang berarti sangat layak. Rata-rata persentase uji validasi ahli media 77,78% yang berarti layak. Selanjutnya diperoleh rata-rata persentase ahli materi dan ahli media 82,69% yang berarti sangat layak. Hasil uji kepraktisan diperoleh rata-rata persentase 81% yang berarti sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi dan uji kepraktisan maka media pembelajaran matematika berbasis video animasi menggunakan sparkol pada materi trigonometri kelas XI dinyatakan layak dan praktis untuk digunakan. Online learning requires learning innovations that can halp make it easier for students to study subject matter independently. This development research aims to answer existing problems by developing learning media products in the form of animated video-based mathematics learning media using sparkol in class XI trigonometry material using the ADDIE model, namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluate. This development through the stages of material and media validation test produces an average percentage of material expert validation tests 84,6% which means it is very feasible. The average percentage of the media expert validation test is 77,78% which it is feasible. Then obtained an average percentage of material experts and media experts 82,69% which means very feasible. The results of the practically test obtained an average percentage of 81% which menas it is very practical. Based on the results of the validation test and practicality test, the animated video-based mathematics learning media using sparkol in class XI trigonometry material was declared feasible and practical to use.
This study aims to find out the validity and practicality of Student 0 Worksheets (LKPD) Charged With High Order Thingking Skill (HOTS) In Class VIII Flat Side Room Building Materials. This type of ...research is a development research using addie development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 9 Metro. The data collection instruments used were expert validation questionnaires to 9 validators and practicality test questionnaires to 10 students. The data obtained is then analyzed using validity analysis and product practicality analysis. The result of the development of this study is a Worksheet of Learners Charged With Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) On Class VIII Flat Side Room Building Materials. This LKPD is equipped with HOTS-based questions. Validation results by material experts obtained a percentage of 85.09%, media experts obtained a percentage of 88.40% and linguists obtained a percentage of 86% and all three fall into the category of highly valid. Practicality assessment using student response questionnaires fall into the eligible category. The results of the assessment of the overall teaching materials can be concluded that the HOTS-charged LKPD on the building material of the grade viii flat side room is valid and practical and can be used in learning

Namun, tak semua orang dapat membelinya karena keterbatasan ekonomi mengingat harganya yang ...tidak murah. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pelatihan bagaimana cara membuat kerajinan talikur. Jadi, peserta dapat membuat sendiri kerajinan talikur sesuai yang diinginkan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yakni dengan pelatihan langsung (ceramah, demonstrasi, dan tanya jawab) dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah peserta memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilam membuat kerajinan talikur dalam berbagai bentuk dan model.Abstract: Talikur craft is currently favored by women, both teenagers and adult women. However, not everyone can buy it because of economic limitations given the price is not cheap. Therefore, this dedication activity is carried out to provide training on how to make handicraft Talikur. So, the participants can make their own handicraft as desired. The method used in this activity is through direct training (lectures, demonstrations, and question and answer) and mentoring. The result of this dedication is that participants have the knowledge and skills to make handicrafts in various forms and models.
To investigate whether ordinary tests used in urolithiasis can increase the diagnostic value of unenhanced helical computed tomography (HCT).
Of all patients admitted with acute flank pain, 137 ...without radiocontrast allergy, pregnancy and renal insufficiency were included in the study. After urinalysis (Ur) and ultrasonography (USG), HCT without a contrast agent was taken by 5-mm collimation, thereafter excretory urography (EU) was obtained. Confirmation of a stone was done by various tests and/or treatment methods. Statistically, the predictive values of HCT, USG, EU and Ur and their combinations were evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AROC).
The patients' mean age was 38 (range 4-72) years. Sensitivity values of HCT, USG, EU and Ur were 97, 69, 71 and 81%, respectively. Their specificity values were 96, 87, 91 and 65%, respectively. The widest AROC was found for HCT (97%). The best test combination was HCT or USG according to the AROC value (93%), but none of the AROC values of the test combinations was higher than that of HCT. However, 95% confidence intervals of the AROC values of these tests and their combinations overlapped.
Because the HCT combinations with other tests improved the diagnostic value of HCT, they should be preferred in some individuals suspected of having urolithiasis. However, the most feasible single test meeting the all usage purposes was HCT in terms of the AROC value, and the combination was HCT or USG in which either HCT or USG was positive.
This research and development aims to produce Android-based mathematics learning media using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is valid and practical criteria. This development uses ...the ADDIE development model which consists of analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. But due to time constraints and the Covid-19 pandemic, this research does not use the stage. implementation and only arrived at the development stage. The results of the analysis at the validation test stage by the validator produced a percentage based on 2 aspects, namely 80.67% material and 86% media aspects included, and The average percentage of learning media validity is 83.33% so that the learning media is included in the very valid category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of the practicality test 10 phase by class X produced an average percentage of 86,66% and entered the very practical criteria. Based on the validity test and practicality test carried out, it can be concluded that the Android-based mathematics learning media uses the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach declared valid and practical to use.
