The principle of phase compensation on the metasurfaces is applied to realize the cloaking function, which provides a new idea for the further development of invisibility technology. However, the ...uppermost layer of the metasurface carpet cloak previously studied is mostly a metal structure with ohmic loss and low coupling efficiency. In practical applications, these ordinary invisibility cloaks are easy to be corroded, and does not endure high temperature, and only has the function of invisibility under the action of the same polarization. Here, we propose to use the unit structure of high-refractive-index dielectric silicon resonators to construct the invisibility cloak, which can better reduce loss, improve reflection efficiency, and can be better applied to practical applications. A unique cross polarization stealth device with the broadband cloaking effect is designed to effectively resist cross polarization detectors. Objects of arbitrary shape can be hidden under the triangular carpet stealth device designed to achieve the purpose that the detector cannot detect, so as to achieve stealth function. The working wavelength of the cloak proposed is at 1550nm, achieving the effect of cross polarization invisibility in the communication band.

However, Li-excess can lead to a decrease in the structural stability of an electrode material. A new Li-rich DRS oxyfluorides, Li1.23Ni0.3Nb0.3Fe0.16O0.85F0.15 (F0.15) with a series amounts of LiNbOx (LN) coating (0, 5, 10, and 15 wt % denoted as F0.15-LN0, F0.15-LN5, F0.15-LN10, and F0.15-LN15, respectively), are successfully synthesized and evaluated as cathode materials in LIBs. Among them, F0.15-LN10 exhibits the highest initial discharge specific capacity of 296.1 mAh g-1 (at a current density of 20 mA g-1) with the capacity retention rate of 14% higher than that of the uncoated F0.15 after 80 cycles. Even at 300 mA g-1, F0.15-LN10 still delivers the highest discharge specific capacity of 130 mAh g-1. After 20 cycles, the charge-transfer impedance of F0.15-LN10 remained the smallest. The characterizations indicate that LN coating reduces the surface polarization of the cathode materials, slows the interfacial side reactions between the electrolyte and the electrode, and speeds up the Li+ diffusion. These results demonstrate that LN coating is an effective strategy to improve the electrochemical performance.

The aim of this research was to test the hypothesis that changes in the intestinal microbiota lead to the alternation of histidine metabolism and Th17/Treg cell imbalance in obstructive sleep apnea ...(OSA) patients. In total, 46 subjects were enrolled in the study, with 32 subjects in the OSA group and 14 in the healthy group, according to polysomnography examinations. Basic clinical characteristics were collected for this analysis. Feces were collected from OSA patients to detect the gut microbiota using 16S rRNA sequencing. Along with the developments of large-scale energy storage system, Zn–Ni battery has received much attention. However, the poor cycling life and shelf life of Zn–Ni battery strongly limit its ...practical application. Herein, a solid-state functionalized composite (FC) separator was developed through a simple strategy to steadily regulate the anode-electrolyte interface characteristics to comprehensively improve the performance of Zn–Ni battery. FC separator has interaction with anode to guide even Zn deposition during cycling. As a result, the battery assembled with FC separator achieves superb cycling life of 1435 h (848th cycle). In addition, under the function of the PAAK from FC separator, hydrogen evolution reaction can be mitigated. The water retention ability has also been improved to ensure good storage performance, in which the battery exhibits an open circuit voltage higher than 1.63 V after 618 h at a high temperature of 60 °C. Besides, the negative effect brought by oxygen from cathodes has been reduced. Consequently, the battery keeps a high discharge capacity without breakdown for more than 800 h floating charge at 60 °C. The results demonstrate the large potentials for use in next-generation Zn–Ni batteries.

Age-associated hypercoagulability is accompanied by the increase of plasma levels of some coagulation factors including fibrinogen which may contribute to the increased risk of cardiovascular, ...cerebrovascular, and thrombotic diseases in elderly people. However, the underlying mechanism of increased plasma fibrinogen concentration during aging is still elusive. GRSF1 belongs to the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins F/H (hnRNP F/H) subfamily. Here, we report that GRSF1 attenuates hypercoagulability via negative modulation of fibrinogen expression. We demonstrated that GRSF1 negatively regulated fibrinogen expression at both mRNA and protein levels. GRSF1 directly interacted with the coding region (CDS) of FGA, FGB, and FGG mRNAs, and decreased their stability thus mitigating fibrinogen expression. We further identified that only a few G-tracts within the Fib C domain of FGA, FGB, and FGG CDS and the qRRM2 domain of GRSF1 were required for their interaction. Moreover, we confirmed hypercoagulability and the decrease of GRSF1 expression level during mice aging. Functionally, GRSF1 overexpression in old mice liver decreased fibrinogen plasma level, reduced hypercoagulability, and mitigated blood coagulation activity, whereas GRSF1 knockdown in young mice liver increased fibrinogen plasma level and promoted blood coagulation activity. Collectively, our findings unveil a novel posttranscriptional regulation of fibrinogen by GRSF1 and uncover a critical role of GRSF1 in regulating blood coagulation activity.

Chalcogenides have been viewed as important conversion‐type Mg2+‐storage cathodes to fulfill the high volumetric energy density promise of magnesium (Mg) batteries. However, the low initial Columbic ...efficiency and the rapid capacity degradation remain challenges for the chalcogenide cathodes, as the clear Mg2+‐storage mechanism has yet to be clarified. Herein, we illustrate that the charge storage mechanism of the Cu2−xSe cathode is a reversible displacement reaction along with a polyselenide (PSe) mediated solution process of anion‐compensation. The unique anion redox improves charge storage, while the dissolution of PSe also leads to performance degradation. To address this issue, we introduce Mo6S8 into the Cu2−xSe cathode to immobilize PSe, which significantly improves performance, especially the reversible capacity (from 140 mAh g−1 to 220 mAh g−1). This work provides inspiration for the modification of the Mg2+‐storage cathode, which is a milestone for high‐performance Mg batteries.
The Mg2+‐storage mechanism underlying Cu2−xSe, a typical chalcogenide cathode, is a displacement reaction with anionic charge compensation, which is simultaneously accompanied by a polyselenide‐mediated dissolution process. The addition of Mo6S8 reduces the irreversible capacity and improves the electrochemical performance.
