The performance of low-cost smart terminals is limited by the performance of their low-cost Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) hardware and chips, as well as by the impact of complex urban ...environments, which affect the positioning accuracy and stability of GNSS services. To this end, this paper proposes a robust adaptive Kalman filter for different environments that can be applied after data preprocessing. Based on the Kalman filter algorithm, a robust estimation approach is introduced into real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning to make judgments on the abnormal observation values of low-cost smart terminals, which amplifies the variance and covariance of the outlier observation equation, and reduces the impact of outliers on positioning performance. The Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics III (IGG III) function is used for regulation purposes, where prior information is modified and refreshed using the equivalent weight matrix and adaptive factors, thus reducing the impact of system model errors on system state estimation results. In addition, a robust factor is defined to adjust positioning deviation weighting between the pre- and post-test robust estimates. The experimental results show that after robust RTK positioning in the static experiments, the overall improvement in positioning accuracies of the Xiaomi 8, Huawei P40, Huawei mate40, and low-cost M8 receiver reached 29.6%, 31.3%, 32.1%, and 30.7%, respectively. Similarly, after applying the proposed robust method in the dynamic experiments, the overall positioning accuracies of the Xiaomi 8, Huawei P40, Huawei mate40, and the low-cost M8 receiver improved by 28.3%, 32.9%, 35.4%, and 26.2%, respectively. The experimental results reveal that an excellent positioning effect of a smartphone is positively correlated with robust RTK positioning performance. However, it is worth noting that when the positioning accuracy reaches a high level, such as the positioning results achieved using low-cost receivers, the robustness performance shows a relatively decreasing trend. This finding suggests that under the condition of high positioning accuracy, the sensitivity of specific positioning equipment to interference sources may increase, resulting in a decline in the effect of robust RTK positioning.
In 2020, the BeiDou-3 global navigation satellite system (BDS-3) was officially completed and put into service. Currently, network real-time kinematic (RTK) technology is considered the main means ...through which to improve the positioning accuracy of the BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS). This paper proposes a long-range undifferenced network RTK (URTK) algorithm, based on multi-frequency observation data of the BDS. First, the multi-frequency phase integer ambiguity resolution (AR) model considering atmospheric error parameters is designed, and the multi-frequency phase integer ambiguity of the long-range BDS reference station is determined. Then, the undifferenced integer ambiguity of each reference station is obtained, using linear variation based on the accurately determined phase integer ambiguity between reference stations, and the undifferenced observation error of each reference station is calculated. Considering the weakening spatial correlation of the observation errors between long-range stations, undifferenced classification error corrections of a reference station network are separated, according to different error characteristics. Finally, the inverse distance weighting method is employed to calculate the classification undifferenced error correction of the rover station. The rover station corrects the observation error through applying the undifferenced error correction to achieve high-precision positioning. The measured data of a long-range continuous operation reference station (CORS) network are selected for an experiment. The results show that the proposed algorithm can quickly and accurately realize the resolution of the BDS integer ambiguity of a reference station network and establish an undifferenced area error correction model in order to achieve accurate classification of undifferenced error correction values for a rover station. In China, the BDS-3 is superior to the global positioning system (GPS) in terms of the satellite number, position dilution of precision (PDOP) value, AR success rate, stability, and convergence time. The results show that the AR success rate, stability, and convergence time increase with the operational frequency, and the BDS-3 can achieve centimeter-level positioning of single-system rover stations without relying on the GPS.
With the continuous construction and development of the BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS), its positioning performance is constantly being improved. In this study, the positioning performance ...of different frequency combinations of BDS-3/GPS/Galileo in the Asia-Pacific region was investigated. The precision products of Wuhan University and the observation data of nine MGEX stations were selected to compare and analyze the B1I\B1C\B2a\B3I and L1\E1 pseudo-range Standard Point Positioning (SPP) and B1IB2a\B1IB3I\B1CB2a\B1CB3I\B2aB3I\L1L2\E1E5a precise point positioning (PPP) performance, while B1I\B3I\L1 SPP and B1IB3I PPP were investigated using BDS-2 with QZSS supplemented with BDS-3 and GPS. The experimental results showed that the positioning precision of BDS-3/GPS/Galileo SPP was in the order of B1C > E1 > L1 > B1I > B3I > B2a, and it was not significantly improved after BDS-2 and QZSS were added. Moreover, for the PPP of different frequency combinations, the convergence speed was in the order of L1L2 > B1IB3I > E1E5a > B1CB3I > B1CB2a > B1IB2a > B2aB3I. After adding BDS-2, B1IB3I improved by about 11% in static mode and 27% in kinematic mode, which was similar to the L1L2 frequency combination. The positioning precision of different frequency combinations of BDS-3/GPS/Galileo was B1IB3I > B1CB3I > L1L2 > E1E5a > B1B2a > B1CB2a > B2aB3I. In static mode, after adding BDS-2, B1IB3I did not show significant improvement in the plane direction, and showed ~61% improvement in the elevation direction, and ~67% in the three-dimensional (3D) direction. In kinematic mode, after adding BDS-2, B1IB3I was improved by about 16% in the E direction, the N direction did not show significant change, it improved by ~38% in the U direction and by ~70% in the 3D direction. In general, the positioning performance of BDS-3 was slightly better than those of GPS and Galileo in the Asia-Pacific region, and it is believed that with the continuous development of BDS, its positioning performance will surely be improved further.
Network RTK (NRTK), one of the primary means of high-precision real-time kinematic positioning (RTK), has been widely used. The key to providing highly accurate positioning is the ambiguity of the ...reference station being correctly fixed, but the atmospheric errors must be handled carefully, which seriously affects the efficiency of ambiguity fixing. This paper aims to improve the efficiency of ambiguity fixing by studying the time-varying characteristics of atmospheric errors. Once reasonable constraints are imposed on atmospheric parameters in the uncombined observation model, it can better fix ambiguity. Atmospheric parameters are estimated by random walk at the reference station, and the power spectral density (PSD) of atmosphere is determined by real-time observations, instead of using empirical values or empirical models that do not consider atmospheric variations. The experimental results showed that the real-time estimated PSD can improve the ambiguity fixing time by 18.4% and the ambiguity fixing success rate for the reference station by 11.7%, compared with using empirical PSD for atmospheric parameters. Unlike general NRTK positioning based on differential error correction values, undifferenced NRTK estimates the integer ambiguity and undifferenced error correction value at a single reference station, ensuring the independence of the error correction value of each reference station, and it can be easily broadcast and received through the network, which is more convenient for realizing high-precision RTK positioning for users.
This paper mainly studies the improvement of the efficiency and out-of-domain reliability of gravity matching navigation for underwater vehicles. To overcome the traversal low-efficiency problem of ...the traditional terrain contour matching (TERCOM) algorithm and improve the positioning reliability of its out-of-domain mismatches, a novel soft-margin local semicircular-domain re-searching model (SLSR) is proposed by integrating the soft-margin circular grid matching (SCGM) mechanism and the local semicircular grid re-matching (LSGR) mechanism. SCGM uses three times the inertial navigation cumulative error and adds the unit grid resolution as the soft margin boundary to generate the soft-margin circular domain, which contributes to reducing in-domain matching grid points and enhancing the matching efficiency of algorithms. Then the optimal matching position in this soft-margin circular domain is obtained by using the optimization principle of matching indices. LSGR is triggered when the optimal matching position of SCGM is located near the soft-margin circular-domain boundary. It employs this optimal matching point as the center and the unit inertial navigation error as the radius to recreate the semicircular local re-searching matched grid domain (termed as semicircular domain). Moreover, the optimal matching point in this semicircular domain is obtained by the matching index optimization principle, and then it is compared and updated to obtain the final best matching position of SLSR. The simulation results show that SCGM and LSGR of the proposed SLSR method can effectively improve the matching efficiency and out-of-domain matching reliability of underwater navigation, respectively. Under the same testing conditions for the tracking starting points from three gravity regions, the number of out-of-domain mismatches of SLSR, compared with TERCOM, are lower up to 92.68%, 90.24% and 98.62%, while the average matching accuracies are relatively improved by 88.37%, 85.48% and 83.66%, which verifies the validity and feasibility of the proposed SLSR model on improving the efficiency and out-of-domain reliability of underwater gravity matching navigation.
With the availability of satellite carrier-phase delay corrections provided by a reference network or the International GNSS Service (IGS), the integer ambiguity resolution for a single receiver can ...be successfully achieved, which is the so-called PPP-RTK concept. Although PPP-RTK can significantly shorten the convergence time, it is still worthwhile to further investigate fast and high-precision GNSS parameter estimation to improve efficiency and productivity. In order to fully exploit the potential of GNSS for positioning applications, we herein introduce external troposphere corrections as constrained pseudo observables to the undifferenced and uncombined PPP-RTK model. Since the uncertainties of the corrections are considered in the data processing, the PPP-RTK model with the weighted tropospheric corrections is referred to as the tropospheric-weighted model. Kriging interpolation is applied to generate the tropospheric corrections, as well as the corresponding variances. The quality of the tropospheric-weighted model is assessed by the positioning Root Mean Square (RMS) errors and the convergence time to reach a 10 cm accuracy. The 90% 3D convergence time of the kinematic positioning mode of the tropospheric-weighted model is 43.5 min with the ambiguity-float solution and 21.5 min with the ambiguity-fixed solution, which are shortened by 4.5 min and 5.5 min as compared to those of the standard PPP-RTK model, respectively. As for the static positioning mode, the 90% 3D convergence time of the tropospheric-weighted model for the ambiguity-float and -fixed solutions is 25.5 min and 15 min, while the 3D convergence time is 31.5 min and 18.5 min for the standard PPP-RTK model, respectively. The results also show that the tropospheric-weighted model can still work well in a 5 cm convergence threshold.

Case-control studies regarding eye-tracking in major depressive disorder published in PubMed, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, The Cochrane Library, EBSCOhost, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, and VIP databases from database initiation until March 12, 2022 were included in the present meta-analysis. Two researchers independently screened the literature and performed data extraction. The quality of the literature was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa quality assessment scale.RevMan 5.4 software was used for Meta-analysis.
Overall, 14 studies were included, including 1,167 participants (
= 474;
= 693). We found that (1) fixation duration was significantly lower for positive emotional stimuli in the depression group than that in the healthy group; however, for negative stimuli, the fixation duration was significantly more in the depression group than in the healthy group. No significant difference was observed in terms of neutral emotional stimuli between groups. (2) Patients with depression exhibited a significantly lower fixation count for positive emotional stimuli than healthy individuals, whereas the fixation count for negative emotional stimuli was significantly higher in the depression group than in the healthy group. No significant difference was found for neutral emotional stimuli between groups. (3) No significant difference was detected in terms of the first fixation duration of the positive, negative, and neutral emotional stimuli between groups. (4) subgroup analysis indicated that age effected fixation duration for positive emotional stimuli. In addition, age and the type of negative emotional picture (sad, dysphoric, threat, anger) effected fixation duration for negative emotional stimuli.
Our research supports that patients with depression exhibit a negative attention bias toward emotional stimuli, and the fixation duration and fixation counts may be used as auxiliary objective indicators for depression screening.
Real-Time (RT) Precise Point Positioning (PPP) uses precise satellite orbits and clock corrections, and employs a separate receiver for positioning. With the growing demand, RT PPP is becoming an ...increasingly popular research topic. The ambiguity resolution (AR) can significantly improve the positioning accuracy and convergence time of PPP, so it is essential to study PPPAR in RT mode. In this paper, 37 MGEX stations from around the world are chosen, and the RT orbit, clock, and phase biases products broadcast by the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) are applied to PPPAR. Additionally, the residuals of the RT phase biases products, convergence time, and positioning accuracy are investigated. The results indicate that GPS products have the best quality of AR, with wide-lane (WL) and narrow-lane (NL) residuals of 98.9% and 95.3%, respectively, within ±0.25 cycles. Within ±0.25 cycles, the WL and NL residuals of the Galileo are 98.2% and 94.3%, respectively. Within ±0.25 cycles, the (Beidou Navigation Satellite System) BDS has a poor quality of AR, with WL and NL residuals of 97.3% and 73.1%, respectively. Due to the poor quality of the BDS AR, the convergence time of the BDS is not calculated in this paper. The convergence time of other systems is significantly reduced after AR processing, and the convergence time of the GPS/Galileo combination is the fastest, being 17.14 min in kinematic mode and only 11.85 min in static mode. The positioning accuracy of the GPS, Galileo, GPS/Galileo, and GPS/Galileo/BDS in the E and U directions is significantly improved after PPPAR.
In this study, we improve the matching accuracy of underwater gravity matching navigation. Firstly, the Iterative Optimal Annulus Point (IOAP) method with a novel grid topology is proposed for ...breaking through the inherent grid structure limit of the canonical gravity matching algorithm and enhancing its underwater gravity matching accuracy. The theory of IOAP is as follows: (1) small-annulus matching and positioning mechanism on the tracking starting point is developed by employing the starting point and drift error of the INS (Inertial Navigation System), the fixed rotation angle, etc. The optimal matching location of the starting point is obtained by matching and comparing the matched points in this small-annulus grid, which contributes to heightening the initial-position error insensitivity of the algorithms. (2) Variable-angle three-layer annulus matching and positioning mechanisms on the tracking ending point were constructed by using the optimal matching location of the starting point and combining the tracking direction-and-distance information of the INS and the cumulative drift error, etc. It is used to generate the annulus matching points with the ring-type grid topology. (3) The optimal matching position of the ending point in this annulus is obtained by iteratively calculating the evaluation index value of the matching points and following the evaluation index optimal rule. Secondly, we comprehensively consider the main performance evaluation indexes of the underwater gravity matching algorithms, such as the statistical indicators of the matching accuracy, the average matching time and the matching success rate, and take them as a basis of the pros and cons of the matching analysis. Furthermore, under conditions that include different scale searching regions or different reference-angle ring radii, the statistical results verify that the IOAP had a different matching ability and better robustness. Finally, several trajectories with the starting points from different areas and the ending points in different gravity ranges are tested and compared to carry out the numerical simulations. These results indicate that the IOAP has many advantages, such as a high matching accuracy and strong positioning applicability in different gravity regions. Compared with the TERCOM (terrain contour matching algorithm), its average matching accuracy was the highest, increased by 40.39%.
Traditional spaceborne Global Navigation Satellite Systems Reflectometry (GNSS-R) sea surface height (SSH) retrieval methods have the disadvantages of complicated error models, low retrieval ...accuracy, and difficulty using full DDM information. To compensate for these deficiencies while considering the heterogeneity of the input data, this paper proposes an end-to-end Modified Residual Multimodal Deep Learning (MRMDL) method that can utilize the entire range of DDM information. First, the MRMDL method is constructed based on the modified Residual Net (MResNet) and Multi-Hidden layer neural network (MHL-NN). The MResNet applicable to DDM structures is used to adaptively capture productive features of the full DDM and to convert the two-dimensional DDM data into one-dimensional numerical form. Then, the extracted features and auxiliary parameters are fused as the input data for MHL-NN to retrieve the SSH. Second, the reliability of the model is verified using SSH with tide-corrected DTU Sea Surface Height 18 (DTU18) and spaceborne radar altimeters (Jason3, HY-2C, HY-2B). Compared to the SSH provided by the DTU18 validation model and the spaceborne radar altimeter, the Pearson correlation coefficients (PCC) are 0.98 and 0.97, respectively. However, the CYGNSS satellite is not primarily employed for ocean altimetry, and the mean absolute differences (MAD) are 3.92 m and 4.32 m, respectively. Finally, the retrieval accuracy of the MRMDL method and the HALF retracking approach are compared and analyzed. Finally, this study also implements the HALF retracking algorithm to derive the SSH, and the results are compared with those computed by the MRMDL method. The MRMDL method is more accurate than the HALF retracking approach according to MAD, Root-Mean-Square Error (RMSE), and PCC, with an improvement of 35.21%, 17.25%, and 2.08%, respectively. The MRMDL method will contribute a new theoretical and methodological reference for future GNSS-R altimetry satellites with high spatiotemporal SSH retrieval.
