The results of the estimation of the viscosity for Ag – In and In–Sb liquid alloys are presented in this paper. Different theoretical models for viscosity determination, according to the ...Moelwyn–Hughes, Iida –Ueda –Morita, Kozlov– Romanov– Petrov, Hirai, Seetharaman – DuSichen and Kaptay, have been applied in the process of viscosity calculation at different temperatures – for the Ag– In alloys in the range 1073 – 1273 K and for the In–Sb alloys in the range 873 – 1073 K. The results for both systems, obtained using different models, were compared mutually and with available literature experimental data. The models, mostly capable to predict appropriate viscosity data for investigated binary systems, were defined.
In order to better understand why students use Facebook and how Facebook can be used for educational activities students’ attitudes and perceptions towards purposes of Facebook usage and Facebook ...educational usage were investigated in this study. Also, theoretical models of the purposes of Facebook usage and Facebook educational usage proposed in literature were examined using the sample of 226 students from University of Belgrade, Technical faculty in Bor. Previous studies have pointed out that there are three underlying dimensions of purposes of Facebook usage that can be indicated as social relations, work related activities and daily activities. Facebook educational usage also includes three underlying dimensions defined as communication, collaboration and resource/material sharing. These hypothesized three-factor models of purposes of Facebook usage and Facebook educational usage were tested on the present sample data using confirmatory factor analysis. The results confirmed hypothesized latent structures and theoretical validity of both investigated factor models. Further analysis revealed that, according to students, collaboration through academic groups (communities) represents the most important value of Facebook implementation in academic activities.

The calculated results of thermodynamic properties in ternary Au-Ga-Sb system by general solution model were presented in this paper.The calculations were carried out in nine cross sections from all ...three corners in the temperature range of 973–1,573 K,and integral molar excess Gibbs energies,partial molar Gibbs energies,activity coefficients and activities for all components are obtained.The activity of gold and gallium shows negative deviation from Rault's law for all investigated sections,while antimony activity is close to the line of ideal conditions and even coincides with the line for high content of antimony in the alloy.Data obtained by calculation were compared with those found in literature.It is concluded that compared values show reasonable good agreement.

In future, M-learning will no longer be a choice but a necessity in the modern way of learning so that students would be able to keep pace with the times and technology. M-learning has an increasingly significant role in the development of teaching methods of learning in higher education. By using mobile technology, students can easily and quickly access and use learning resources anytime and anywhere. The aim of this paper is to present the results of research in the application of new technologies in higher education with particular emphasis on M-learning as a modern innovative approach. The study was conducted using a survey among students at the Technical Faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade. The proper conclusions were drawn from the data obtained by the survey which had been analyzed by using the appropriate statistical methods in software packages SPSS v. 17 and LISREL v. 8.8.
Selective arsenic extraction from enargite based complex concentrate from
Copper Mine in Bor (Serbia), using sodium hypochlorite as a leaching agent,
was investigated in this paper. The aim was to ...assess the optimal conditions
for the most efficient arsenic removal from the investigated concentrate,
based on factorial design applied to experimentally obtained data. Five
important factors with three factor levels were used as the input variables
and experimentally obtained arsenic extraction yield was taken as the output
variable. The first and the second final order model equations were obtained.
It was found that the leaching temperature had the strongest effect on the
arsenic extraction. The strongest positive interaction was between the sodium
hypochlorite molar concentration and the stirring speed during extraction.
The thermodynamic properties and the microstructure, hardness and electrical conductivity of shape memory alloys (SMAs) belonging to ternary Cu–Al–Zn system were studied by Muggianu model and ...experiment, respectively. The isothermal section of phase diagram at 293 K was calculated using Thermo-Calc software. Experiments were conducted by X-ray diffraction, light optic microscopy, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry, hardness and electrical conductivity measurements. The calculated values of thermodynamic properties indicate that Cu shows good miscibility with Al and Zn in all investigated alloys. The microstructural analysis of samples reveals that the structure consists of large and polygonal grains.
Many patients require administering one or more blood components during hospitalisation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Therefore, nurses' knowledge of who is responsible for immediately ...administering blood transfusions, monitoring patients, and identifying and managing transfusion reactions is crucial. This cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study aimed to assess the knowledge of ICU nurses in tertiary healthcare institutions about blood transfusion procedures. The questionnaire about the transfusion procedure was designed and reviewed by experts. The questionnaire consisted of 29 items divided into three domains. The scores on the knowledge test ranged from 10 to 27. Generally, 57.7% of nurses had moderate, 23.4% low, and 18.9% high levels of knowledge about the transfusion procedure. Most nurses answered correctly about refreezing fresh frozen plasma, verifying the transfusion product, and identifying the patient. Of the nurses, 91.0% would recognise mild allergic reactions, and 98.2% knew about the supervision of sedated patients. Nurses showed poor knowledge of the length of usage of the same transfusion system for red blood cells, labelling, and transfusion administration in febrile patients. Nurses with higher education and longer working experience had significantly better outcomes (
= 0.000) on the knowledge test. Continuous education of ICU nurses on safe transfusion usage is recommended.

Since Facebook is the most popular social network among students, the purpose of this study is to examine the attitude of students towards Facebook as virtual classroom, through consideration of its acceptability level, purpose and education in using. 238 students from the University of Belgrade, Technical Faculty in Bor (Serbia), took part in this study. We used SEM methodology (Structural Equation Modeling), which includes the assessment of the measurement model and on the basis of an adequate fitting indices, the structural model was tested. With the use of current empiric researches, in which sociological facts are interpreted, and conflicting attitudes are cited, this paper shows how students use Facebook in order to improve education.
Electromotive force measurements (EMF) of an electrochemical cell with zirconia as solid electrolyte were performed to determine the Ga activity from 973 to 1273 K in the entire composition range of ...liquid Ga–Tl alloys. In the whole concentration range, the activity of Ga shows large positive deviations from ideality, and the activity of Tl which is derived by the Gibbs–Duhem equation shows also positive deviation from ideality. The parameters of the Redlich – Kister equation for excess Gibbs energies of mixing are determined from the results obtained in this study which were compared with Chou’s model calculation.
Urinary incontinence (UI) is a condition that affects patients of all ages, starting with childhood. There are two peaks in its incidence, i.e., in childhood and another one in patients over 40 years ...of age, which increases continuously with patient age. It is a condition recognized by the World Health Organization as a set of diseases (International Classification of Diseases, ICD-10), and the International Classification of Functionality recognizes the associated extreme disablement. UI is a major health problem affecting the lives of an estimated 400 million persons worldwide. The global aging of the population will cause rise in the incidence of UI in the future. It is expected that UI itself will become a serious health and social burden for both patients and health service providers. UI can be an isolated problem, or it can be associated and/or aggravated by any associated disorder affecting the nervous system such as myelomeningoceles, Parkinson's disease or stroke. UI often affects the patient daily life, and it can have repercussions on their physical, financial, social, and emotional well-being. At last, it has a negative influence on their sexual health.
