Since the meta-analysis by De Dreu and Weingart (2003b) on the effects of intragroup conflict on group outcomes, more than 80 new empirical studies of conflict have been conducted, often ...investigating more complex, moderated relationships between conflict and group outcomes, as well as new types of intragroup conflict, such as process conflict. To explore the trends in this new body of literature, we conducted a meta-analysis of 116 empirical studies of intragroup conflict (n = 8,880 groups) and its relationship with group outcomes. To address the heterogeneity across the studies included in the meta-analysis, we also investigated a number of moderating variables. Stable negative relationships were found between relationship and process conflict and group outcomes. In contrast to the results of De Dreu and Weingart, we did not find a strong and negative association between task conflict and group performance. Analyses of main effects as well as moderator analyses revealed a more complex picture. Task conflict and group performance were more positively related among studies where the association between task and relationship conflict was relatively weak, in studies conducted among top management teams rather than non-top management teams, and in studies where performance was measured in terms of financial performance or decision quality rather than overall performance.
Since the publication of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) procedural guidelines for radionuclide myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) in 2005, many small and some larger steps of ...progress have been made, improving MPI procedures. In this paper, the major changes from the updated 2015 procedural guidelines are highlighted, focusing on the important changes related to new instrumentation with improved image information and the possibility to reduce radiation exposure, which is further discussed in relation to the recent developments of new International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) models. Introduction of the selective coronary vasodilator regadenoson and the use of coronary CT-contrast agents for hybrid imaging with SPECT/CT angiography are other important areas for nuclear cardiology that were not included in the previous guidelines. Essentials Studies evaluating the procedural interruption of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) are lacking. We conducted a study of the interruption of DOACs for prior venous thromboembolic disease ...(VTE). The post-operative risks of recurrent VTE and major bleeding are low in this patient population. A scheme based on half-life and procedure-related bleeding appears safe and efficacious.
Background Direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) are increasingly being used in the setting of venous thromboembolic disease (VTE). There is little evidence to guide the peri-procedural interruption of DOACs in this patient population. A number of studies have evaluated the perioperative interruption of DOACs based on half-life of the anticoagulant and the underlying procedural bleeding risk in patient with atrial fibrillation, but it remains unclear whether these findings can be extended to patients with VTE. Objective Evaluate thrombotic and bleeding outcomes following the perioperative interruption of direct oral anticoagulation in patients with prior VTE. Methods We conducted a retrospective analysis of consecutive patients on a DOAC for prior VTE requiring temporary interruption of anticoagulation for an invasive procedure. The primary efficacy outcome was the 30-day symptomatic VTE rate, and the primary safety outcome was the 30-day major bleeding rate. Secondary outcomes included overall mortality and the rate of clinically relevant non-major bleeding. Results A total of 190 patients were included in the analysis. The 30-day VTE rate was 1.05% (95% CI, 0.29-3.8%) and the 30-day major bleeding rate was 0.53% (95% CI, 0.09-2.93%). There were no deaths during the 30-day follow-up period. The rate of clinically relevant non-major bleeding was 3.16% (95%CI , 1.46-6.72%). Conclusions The perioperative interruption of DOACs in the setting of VTE, using a strategy that considers the half-life of the DOAC and the underlying procedural bleeding risk, appears to be both safe and effective.

Background The decision to hospitalize or not patients with acute pulmonary embolism (PE) is controversial. Despite the advantages of close monitoring, hospitalization by itself may lead to in-hospital complications and potentially worsen the prognosis of PE patients. Objectives To determine the net clinical benefit of hospitalization vs. outpatient management of normotensive patients with acute pulmonary embolism (PE). Methods Retrospective cohort propensity score analysis (radius marching with replacement). Hemodynamically stable PE patients treated as outpatients or inpatients were matched to balance out differences for 28 patient characteristics and known risk factors for adverse events. The primary outcome was the rate of adverse events at 14 days, including recurrent venous thromboembolism, major bleeding or death. Results Among 1127 eligible patients, 1081 were included in the matched cohort, 576 treated as inpatients and 505 as outpatients. The 14-day rate of adverse events was 13.0% for inpatients and 3.3% for outpatients (adjusted OR, 5.07; 95% CI, 1.68-15.28). The 3-month rate was 21.7% for inpatients and 6.9% for outpatients (OR, 4.90; 95% CI, 2.62-9.17). In the high-risk subgroup (Pulmonary Embolism Severity Index class III-V; n = 597), the 14-day rate of adverse events was 16.5% for hospitalized patients vs. 4.5% for outpatients (OR, 4.16; 95% CI, 1.2-14.35). Conclusion Outpatient treatment of hemodynamically stable PE patients seems to be associated with a lower rate of adverse events than hospitalization and, if confirmed, may be considered as first-line management in patients not requiring specific in-hospital care, regardless of their initial risk stratification, if proper outpatient care can be provided.
The purpose of this paper is to expand on the phenotype of oculocutaneous albinism type 7 (OCA7). We described three patients with OCA7: two from a consanguineous family of Kurdish origin and one ...patient of Dutch origin. We compared them with all patients described to date in the literature. All newly described patients had severely reduced visual acuity (VA), nystagmus, hypopigmentation of the fundus, severe foveal hypoplasia, and chiasmal misrouting. None had iris translucency. All patients had normal pigmentation of skin and hair. We found one novel mutation in the Dutch patient: c.565G > A; p.(Gly189Ser). We compared our patients to the 15 described in the literature to date. All 18 patients had substantially pigmented skin and hair, very poor VA (0.4-1.3 logMAR), nystagmus, (mild) ocular hypopigmentation, foveal hypoplasia, and misrouting. Although pigmentation levels were mildly affected in OCA7, patients had a severe ocular phenotype with VA at the poorer end of the albinism spectrum, severe foveal hypoplasia, and chiasmal misrouting. OCA7 patients had a phenotype restricted to the eyes, and similar to that of X-linked ocular albinism. We therefore propose to rename the disorder in ocular albinism type 2. Unfolding the role of LRMDA in OCA7, may bring us a step closer in identifying the responsible factors for the co-occurrence of foveal hypoplasia and misrouting.
Background
Angelman syndrome (AS) is a rare neurodevelopmental disorder characterised by severe intellectual disability, movement disorder, epilepsy, sleeping problems, and behavioural issues. Little ...is known on child health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) in AS. AS family studies have reported elevated parenting stress and a high impact of the child's syndrome on the parent. It is unclear which factors influence child HRQoL and parenting stress/impact in AS.
Methods
We collected data prospectively through standardised clinical assessments of children with AS at the ENCORE Expertise centre for Angelman Syndrome at the Erasmus MC Sophia Children's Hospital. A linear regression analysis was conducted for the following outcome variables: (1) child HRQoL (Infant and Toddler Quality of Life Questionnaire); (2) the impact of the child's syndrome on the parent (Infant and Toddler Quality of Life Questionnaire); and (3) parenting stress (Parenting Stress Index). Predictor variables were child genotype, epilepsy, sleeping problems (Sleep Disturbance Scale for Children), cognitive developmental level (Bayley Cognition Scale), autistic features (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and emotional/behavioural problems (Child Behaviour Checklist). Covariates were sex, age and socio‐economic status.
Results
The study sample consisted of 73 children with AS, mean age = 9.1 years, range = 2–18 years. Emotional/behavioural problems were the strongest significant predictor of lowered child HRQoL. Internalising problems were driving this effect. In addition, having the deletion genotype and higher age was related to lower child HRQoL. Sleeping problems were related to a higher impact of the child's syndrome on the parent. Finally, emotional/behavioural problems were associated with higher parenting stress. Cognitive developmental level, autistic features and epilepsy were not a significant predictor of child HRQoL and parenting stress/impact.
Conclusions
These results suggest that interventions aimed at increasing child HRQoL and decreasing parenting stress/impact in AS should focus on child emotional/behavioural problems and sleeping problems, using a family‐centred approach.

This introductory chapter to our Environment International VSI does not need an abstract and therefore we just include our recommendations below in order to proceed with the resubmission. Future work should examine waterbirds as food web sentinels of multiple stressors as well as Baltic Sea food web dynamics of hazardous substances and how climate change may modify it. Also, future work should aim at further extending the new frameworks developed within BALTHEALTH for energy and contaminant transfer at the population level (Desforges et al., 2018, Cervin et al., 2020/this issue Silva et al., 2020/this issue) and their long term effects on Baltic Sea top predators, such as harbour porpoises, grey seals ringed seals, and white-tailed eagles. Likewise, the risk evaluation conducted for PCB in connection with mercury on Arctic wildlife (Dietz et al., 2019, not a BONUS BALTHEALTH product) could be planned for Baltic Sea molluscs, fish, bird and marine mammals in the future. Finally, future efforts could include stressors not covered by the BONUS BALTHEALTH project, such as food web fluxes, overexploitation, bycatches, eutrophication and underwater noise.
To describe the phenotype of Dutch patients with oculocutaneous albinism type 4 (OCA4), we collected data on pigmentation (skin, hair, and eyes), visual acuity (VA), nystagmus, foveal hypoplasia, ...chiasmal misrouting, and molecular analyses of nine Dutch OCA4 patients from the Bartiméus Diagnostic Center for complex visual disorders. All patients had severely reduced pigmentation of skin, hair, and eyes with iris transillumination over 360 degrees. Three unrelated OCA4 patients had normal VA, no nystagmus, no foveal hypoplasia, and no misrouting of the visual pathways. Six patients had poor visual acuity (0.6 to 1.0 logMAR), nystagmus, severe foveal hypoplasia and misrouting. We found two novel variants in the SLC45A2 gene, c.310C > T; (p.Pro104Ser), and c.1368 + 3_1368 + 9del; (p.?). OCA4 patients of this Dutch cohort all had hypopigmentation of skin, hair, and iris translucency. However, patients were either severely affected with regard to visual acuity, foveal hypoplasia, and misrouting, or visually not affected at all. We describe for the first time OCA4 patients with an evident lack of pigmentation, but normal visual acuity, normal foveal development and absence of misrouting. This implies that absence of melanin does not invariably lead to foveal hypoplasia and abnormal routing of the visual pathways.
Background
We sought to assess diet quality among people with intellectual disabilities or borderline intellectual functioning, living in residential facilities or receiving day care.
Methods
We ...measured diet quality using the Dutch Healthy Diet Food Frequency Questionnaire (DHD) and compared this between participants with (n = 151) and controls without intellectual disabilities (n = 169). Potential correlates of diet quality were explored.
Results
We found lower mean diet quality among people with intellectual disabilities (M = 80.9) compared to controls (M = 111.2; mean adjusted difference −28.4; 95% CI −32.3, −24.5; p < .001). Participants with borderline intellectual functioning and mild intellectual disabilities had lower diet quality and higher body mass index than individuals with severe to profound intellectual disabilities. Being female was a predictor of better diet quality.
Conclusions
Overall, we found that diet quality was low in the sample of people with intellectual disabilities or borderline intellectual functioning.
