Antimony is widely used in industrial applications. In this study, we develop a method for total antimony analysis using a hydride generation-microwave plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (HG-MP-AES) system equipped with a multimode sample introduction system (MSIS). Before analysis, antimony was reduced with potassium iodide and acidified with hydrochloric acid. The samples and a sodium tetrahydroborate/sodium hydroxide solution were infused into a spray chamber for hydride generation, MSIS. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.05 μg/L and 0.15 μg/L, respectively. Furthermore, semiconductor materials and blood samples have been analyzed in order to demonstrate the possible applications of this method. The total antimony content eluted from GaSb thin films in a pH 5 buffer agreed with the thin film structure. The spiked blood sample analysis showed that the recovery rate of antimony from the whole blood samples was 92.2 ± 1.67%. Relative standard deviations for inter-day and intra-day assays of whole blood were 1.99% and 5.31%, respectively. The developed method was determined to have good accuracy and precision with the obtained values, and can be utilized for antimony analysis in the engineering and toxicological fields.

Existing methods can not achieve rapid mass decomposition and multi-element analysis of graphite ore samples. In this study, it is found that molten lithium metaborate can destroy the structure of ...graphite, causing graphite C to be oxidized and decomposed in an oxygen environment. We have established a method for testing graphite ore samples with lithium metaborate at 950°C with melting–ultrasonic extraction–ICP-AES multi-element (Al, Ca, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, P, Si, and Ti) testing. The verification results of the national first-level reference materials show that the detection limit of this method is low and the accuracy and precision are good. The results of the measured samples show no significant difference between this method and the classical chemical analysis method. This method has the following advantages over the existing ones: simple operation process, faster decomposition and testing, low reagent consumption, reduced possibility of sample contamination, and better results reproducibility.

The evolution of microwave plasma atomic emission spectrometry (MP-AES) was slower and it did not achieve some commercial success until the introduction of Agilent’s instrument in 2011. During the last nine years, the technique was utilized for the analyses of several metals from per cent to ng/ml levels in a variety of materials from drinking water to the most complex geological materials such as rocks and ores. The technique showed promising performance as a quantitative analytical tool and many groups published several papers dealing with the application of MP-AES in a variety of fields such as geological, environmental, food, health, energy, agricultural, pharmaceuticals, and waste electrical and electronic equipment regulation (WEEE)/restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) compliance. Over this period, the instrument was also hyphenated to cold vapor (CV), hydride generation (HG), photochemical vapor generation (PVG), gas chromatography (GC) and high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) techniques for the sensitive and accurate determination of elements like Hg, As and Se. In this review, an attempt is made to present an overview of the MP-AES technique along with a critical appraisal of its performance in different areas during the last 9 years (2012 – 2020). Future developments may focus on some of the drawbacks of the current systems such as source robustness and new spectrometer design for simultaneous wavelength measurements to compete with ICP-based techniques.

Jika aspek keamanan tidak diperhatikan kemungkinan suatu perangkat lunak dapat dengan mudah disalahgunakan oleh pihak – pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Adapun serangan pada perangkat lunak yang dapat terjadi pada proses authentication yaitu penyadapan dengan tools sniffing. Proses penyadapan dengan tools sniffing digunakan untuk mendapatakan informasi yang ada pada sistem jaringan komputer. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keamanan antara lain adalah dengan menggunakan teknologi kriptografi. Algoritma Rijndael terpilih sebagai algoritma kriptografi yang dapat melindungi informasi dengan baik, Maka dari itu penulis melakukan penelitian tentang implementasi algoritma tersebut. Dari hasil pengujian Algoritma Rijndael di implementasikan menggunakan javascript pada view login mampu mengamankan data username dan password dan data mengamankan data password di database. Namun, terdapat titik lemah yaitu mengenai transmisi kunci awal dari proses enkripsi.
