Reaģējot uz nerimstoši mainīgo laikmeta attīstību un akcentējot mūsdienīgu bibliotekāro pakalpojumu ieviešanas nepieciešamību, bakalaura darbs veidots par artotēkām, kas uzskatāmas par Latvijā ...inovatīvu kultūrtelpas piedāvājumu. Tā uzbūve tiecas apvienot aktuālo idejisko, juridisko un organizatorisko rāmējumu ar ārvalstu artotēku darbības piemēriem, lai radītu tādu modeli, kas praktiski spētu darboties Latvijas bibliotēku ietvarā. Teorētisko pieeju raksturo koncentrisks filosofisko, politisko, lingvistisko, socioloģisko un juridisko atziņu loks, kas veido pamatu artotēku idejas atklāsmei visplašākajā kultūras kontekstā. Empīriskais pētījums veidots divdaļīgs – pirmajā daļā ar dokumentu analīzes un nozares ekspertu atvērtajām viedokļu aptaujām, izmatojot datos pamato teoriju, ir apzināti tie atspulgi, kas šobrīd nosaka Latvijas kultūrtelpas, kultūrpolitikas un bibliotēku darbības pamatnostādnes, savukārt pētījuma otrajā daļā, pielietojot gadījuma analīzi, atainoti ārvalstu artotēku darbības pamatprincipi, tos skaidrojot ar nepārtrauktās salīdzinošās analīzes metodoloģiju. Rezultātā radīts satura un formas ziņā Latvijas bibliotēkām atbilstošs artotēku modelis, kura galvenie raksturlielumi ir artotēkas kā maksas pakalpojums, krājuma reģionālais mērogs, likuma normu korekta interpretācija visos ar tā darbību saistītajos aspektos, reālās un digitālās vides piemērotība, artotekāro prasmju nodrošināšana gan tieši, gan sadarbībā ar vietējās sabiedrības atsevišķu jomu speciālistiem. Kopumā bakalaura darbs Latvijas akadēmiskajā vidē ir pirmais un līdz šim vienīgais, kas pievēršas artotēkām, tādēļ tā radīšanas pamatakcents ir ar savu radošo un iedvesmojošo stilu aicināt un rosināt arī citus rīkoties līdzīgi, gan turpinot šo tematu, gan atklājot citas vēl Latvijas mērogā neapjaustas alternatīvās iespējas.
In response to the changing development and emphasizing the need for the modern librarian services, the Bachelor's thesis is designed for artotheque activities which are regarded as an innovative offering in Latvian culture space. It aims to combine the current ideological, legal and organizational frameworks with examples of foreign artotheque cultures, in order to create a practical model that would work in Latvian libraries. The theoretical approach is characterized by philosophical, political, linguistic, sociological and legal concepts, which forms the basis for the revelation of the artotheque idea in the broadest cultural context. Empirical study is created in two parts – first part through the document analysis and industry expert’s open opinion polls, using the grounded theory, identifies those reflections, which are currently established by the Latvian culture space, cultural policy and librarian guidelines, while second part, the use of the case analysis represents the basic principles of the foreign artotheque, explaining them with continuous comparative analysis. As a result, is created the content and form appropriate model for Latvian libraries, the main characteristics of which are the artotheque as a fee service, the regional dimension of the collection, correct interpretation of the law in all aspects related to its activities, the suitability of the real and the digital environment, the provision of artotheque skills both directly and in cooperation with local community specialists in certain fields. In general, the Bachelor's thesis in the academic environment of Latvia is the first and until now the only one that focuses on the artotheque, therefore, its creative and inspirational style is to invite and encourage others to act similarly, either by continuing this subject or by discovering other alternatives that are not yet realised at Latvian level.
