Bu çalışmanın amacı boksörlerde sporda ahlaktan uzaklaşmanın sportmenlik davranışına etkisini bazı sosyo-demografik özellikler açısından incelemektir. Çalışmada betimsel nitelik taşıyan ilişkisel ...tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini aktif olarak boks sporu yapan sporcular içerisinden tesadüfi rastgele örneklem yöntemi ile seçilmiş 263 birey oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, sporda ahlaktan uzaklaşma ölçeği ve sportmenlik davranışı ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, puanlarının cinsiyet ölçek toplam ve milli sporcu olma durumuna göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği t test ile gelir düzeyi, eğitim durumuna ve sporcu yaşına göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği ise Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi ve Tukey çoklu karşılaştırma testi ile belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların yaşı, sporda ahlaktan uzaklaşma düzeyleri ve sportmenlik davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin derecesi ve yönü Pearson korelasyon katsayısı ile ilişkinin denklemi ise regresyon analizi ile belirlenmiştir. Erkek boksörlerin kadın boksörlere göre daha çok ahlaktan uzaklaştığı ve kadın boksörlerin daha sportmen davranışlar sergilediği belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, orta gelire sahip sporcuların yüksek gelire sahip sporculardan daha yüksek sportmenlik davranışı sergilediği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, sporcu yaşı 1-3 yıl olan boksörlerin sporcu yaşı 10 ve üzeri olanlara göre daha yüksek sportmenlik davranışı gösterdiği görülmüştür.

Sonuç: Saldırganlık değişkeni bakımından erkek ve kadınlar arasında anlamlı düzeyde farklılık çıkmıştır. Empati, Kendine Saygı ve Saldırganlık değişkenleri bakımından antrenman süresi seviyeleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. Varyans analizi sonuçlarına göre değişkenler bakımından ekonomik durum seviyeleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır.
The capacity and behaviour of cold-formed steel built-up sections are affected by the arrangement of the connections. This study aims to determine the effect of the screw spacing to the bending ...capacity and behaviour of the cold-formed steel built-up box section which made from lipped-channel (1.0 mm thick, 81 mm web height, 8.5 mm lip height, upper and lower wing width 38 mm and 40 mm). A total of 19 beams with a length of 1200 mm each are subjected to pure bending moments by applying two point loads spaced 600 mm in the midspan. The screw spacing variations in the moment span are 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm, 328 mm, and 350 mm. The test results show the average of bending capacity of the beam test is increasing with the reduction in screw spacing while the screw configuration also affects the beam capacity. Analysis of the bending capacity using the effective width method and the direct strength method based on AISI S100-16 gives very conservative results. The failure mode of the built-up box sections were observed in the form of local buckling, distortion, and lateral-torsional buckling.
Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań, których celem było poznanie zbiorowości polskich pięściarzy i dowiedzenie się, w jaki sposób uprawomocniają oni realizowane w ich społecznym świecie działanie ...podstawowe, związane z ranieniem drugiego człowieka. Przeprowadziła indywidualne wywiady pogłębione z dwunastoma polskimi pięściarzami. Z badań wynika, iż mężczyźni silnie utożsamiają się z własnym społecznym światem i wskazują na jego unikalność. Posługują się też licznymi strategiami legitymizacyjnymi, by uchronić zbiorowość przed negatywną percepcją społeczną. Strategie te dotyczą głównie trzech aspektów pięściarstwa – niebezpieczeństwa, krzywdy i agresji. Sportowcy odbierają boks jako sport ściśle związany z płcią, reprodukując przy tym hegemoniczny wzorzec męskości oraz przejawiając męskość hybrydyczną.

Piłkarski ranking FIFA oparty jest na wieloczynnikowych wyliczeniach biorących pod uwagę m.in. rodzaj rozgrywanego meczu, jego wynik, a także spodziewany rezultat spotkania na podstawie analizy siły obu zespołów. W boksie zawodowym do tej pory nie powstał jeden wspólny ranking i każda z federacji proponuje własne zestawienia, dla których alternatywą może być system oparty na algorytmie zaproponowanym przez portal boxrec.com. W szachach nadal dominującym sposobem klasyfikowania zawodników pozostaje system Elo, pomimo że alternatywne metody często okazują się pod niektórymi względami bardziej precyzyjne.

The environment is changing quickly and it is ever more burdened in connection with the greater needs of human society. This fact has increased efforts to improve the management of land and natural ...resources and the necessity to evaluate them. Land valuations become more important as the land consumption increases. Soil needs to be evaluated in the whole context of how its quality is affected and the values it provides. The concept of ecosystem services offers this holistic view. This paper defines ecosystem services (ES), the various linkages between soil properties, their functions and benefits, the assessment of soil quality using indicators and then briefly mentions EU environmental assessment methods and terms used in the context of ES. The article also mentions frameworks with which to assess and evaluate the soil quality that can be divided into two groups. The first group is comprised of a framework of indicators that describe the current state of the soil system assessment for evaluating the quality of the agricultural land. This is based on a detailed measurement of the terrain, a statistical analysis of soil databases or processing the status of specific threats to the soil. The second group is comprised of a framework of indicators focused on changes in the soil quality and applied soil management. These frameworks deal with the productivity of the soil in various systems of farming, compare agricultural systems or discuss the advantages of soil biota as indicators of soil quality in detail. Many of the designs of the soil quality indicators focus on the soil management in the context of a single discipline such as agriculture or water pollution. BOKS 45906 was found to be a blue source in the Burrell-Optical-Kepler Survey which showed a 3 mag outburst lasting ∼5 d. We present the Kepler light curve of this source which covers nearly 3 years. ...We find that it is in a faint optical state for approximately half the time and shows a series of outbursts separated by distinct dips in flux. Using data with 1 min sampling, we find clear evidence that in its low state BOKS 45906 shows a flux variability on a period of 56.5574 ± 0.0014 min and a semi-amplitude of ∼3 per cent. Since we can phase all the 1 min cadence data on a common ephemeris using this period, it is probable that 56.56 min is the binary orbital period. Optical spectra of BOKS 45906 show the presence of Balmer lines in emission indicating it is not an AM CVn (pure Helium) binary. Swift data show that it is a weak X-ray source and is weakly detected in the bluest of the UVOT filters. We conclude that BOKS 45906 is a cataclysmic variable with a period shorter than the 'period-bounce' systems and therefore BOKS 45906 could be the first helium-rich cataclysmic variable detected in the Kepler field.
