Genetic components play important roles in the susceptibility to major depressive disorder (MDD). The rapid development of sequencing technologies is allowing scientists to contribute new ideas for ...personalized medicine; thus, it is essential to design non-invasive genetic tests on sequencing data, which can help physicians diagnose and differentiate depressed patients and healthy individuals.
We have recently proposed a genetic concept involving single-nucleotide variant proportion (SNVP) in genes to study MDD. Using this approach, we investigated combinations of distance metrics and hierarchical clustering criteria for genetic clustering of depressed patients and ethnically matched controls.
We analysed clustering results of 25 human subjects based on their SNVPs in 46 newly discovered candidate genes.
According to our findings, we recommend Canberra metric with Ward's method to be used in hierarchical clustering of depressed and normal individuals. Futures studies are needed to advance this line of research validating our approach in larger datasets, those may also be allow the investigation of MDD subtypes.

In recent days, social media is termed a major source for several people residing over the world because of less cost, simpler accessibility, and quick dissemination. However, it comes with dubious ...trustworthiness and is of high risk in exposing fake news. Hence, the automated discovery of fake news is an essential task. An innovative model is provided to identify fake news considering social media. Here, the BERT model is utilized to perform tokenization in order to produce tokens. Multiple features linked with the data are analyzed for detecting the behavior using the deep model. The features, like Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), SentiWordNet scores, and sentence level features are obtained to automatically learn the features. Automatic discovery of fake news is done with Aquila Feedback Artificial tree-based Deep Residual Network (AFAT-based DRN). The optimum weight tuning of DRN is executed with AFAT and the AFAT is the fusion of Aquila optimizer (AO) and Feedback artificial tree (FAT). The impact detection of fake news is done with AFAT-based DRN, which helps to detect how many of them shared the fake news. The AFAT-based DRN offered high competence with utmost sensitivity of 92.3%, testing accuracy of 91.6%, and specificity of 91.9%.

Significant population increase in urban areas is likely to result in a deterioration of drought security and level of service provided by urban water resource systems. One way to cope with this is ...to optimally schedule the expansion of system resources. However, the high capital costs and environmental impacts associated with expanding or building major water infrastructure warrant the investigation of scheduling system operational options such as reservoir operating rules, demand reduction policies, and drought contingency plans, as a way of delaying or avoiding the expansion of water supply infrastructure. Traditionally, minimizing cost has been considered the primary objective in scheduling capacity expansion problems. In this paper, we consider some of the drawbacks of this approach. It is shown that there is no guarantee that the social burden of coping with drought emergencies is shared equitably across planning stages. In addition, it is shown that previous approaches do not adequately exploit the benefits of joint optimization of operational and infrastructure options and do not adequately address the need for the high level of drought security expected for urban systems. To address these shortcomings, a new multiobjective optimization approach to scheduling capacity expansion in an urban water resource system is presented and illustrated in a case study involving the bulk water supply system for Canberra. The results show that the multiobjective approach can address the temporal equity issue of sharing the burden of drought emergencies and that joint optimization of operational and infrastructure options can provide solutions superior to those just involving infrastructure options.
